Chapter 22. I'll forget you

Maura sees Evan standing in front of Hanna's contract with Hanna there. "Why did you just come home? Are you all right?" evan asked as he approached his cousin's sister.

"I'm out of the hospital to see Dad" Maura said with a bitter smile.

"Lied, I was there a long time and you weren't there. Here I just came home to see Samuel." explained Hanna who brushed aside Maura's lies.

Maura was caught hearing it. He can't lie anymore to cover up his return to the Bara's house.

"Maura, are you back at Bara's house?" ask Evan worriedly.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Why did you come back? Isn't your business there done in the afternoon?" Evan asked as he held Maura's hand, he looked at his cousin's sister anxiously.

"Sister.so I missed something and I took it back." Maura explained lying again.

"Maura-" Evan stopped her speech when he saw a bruise on his cousin's sister's wrist.

Noticing Evan's gaze on her hand, Maura immediately pulled her hand away from Evan, then hid it. "Maura!"

"I'm tired, I want to take a break brother."

"Your hand why? Did Bara torture you again?" Evan held onto Maura's arm, asking Maura to talk to him.

Maura let go of Evan's hand, she walked inside the house. However, his steps came to a halt when Evan said if Maura did not say why her hand was injured, she would go beat Bara to death again.

"If you don't talk about why your hand hurt, I'll go to the son of a bitch's house and beat him to death!" Evan threatened.

"No brother! Don't do that!" Shouted Maura scared.

Evan approached Maura and spoke loudly to her. "Why is there still a remnant of your heart for a bad man like him? You don't want him to get hurt! You still love that beast?! He said you wanted revenge, forget your feelings it was Maura.you must remember because he was Samuel in the hospital and in a coma, because he we live hard! Don't forget that!"

"Sister Evan, that's enough!" Hanna exclaimed at Evan who kept pressing Maura to forget about Bara.

"No Hanna! I have to talk, I have to remind him that he must not be trapped in love, or he will be caught in a grudge" Evan said as he looked at Maura. "Maura listen to me, everything will go smoothly if half your heart has forgotten him! If you can be with all your heart, you have to forget it, kill all those feelings of love."

Of love? Do I still love Bara? Because of that, I don't want him to get hurt. Brother Evan was right, this feeling of love should die for him.but the memories of him still vividly remembered in my mind. My heart is not that easy to forget, but I have to!

"Brother right, I will try to forget him.but I still can't get away from him. I still have a contract with him." Maura explained honestly.

"Maura, how much do you owe him? We pay off all your debts and you'll be free of them."

The next day, Maura went to Bara's house early in the morning as usual to clean up the house before she left for work. That morning he saw another woman coming out of Bara's room in thin clothes.

But strangely he did not see Bara in that room. Usually Bara will be there with Vera or the woman he always carries almost every night to the house.

"God! I'm thirsty, ask for orange juice dong!" the sexy lady said to Maura.

"I'm sorry, I'm not your maid so you can't tell me." Maura refused firmly.

"Hurry and get me some orange juice!" the woman clasped Maura's hand. Maura fought him and pushed the woman's body to the floor.

Not wanting to cause any trouble, Maura chose to leave. But his steps came to a halt when he saw Bara coming out of his study. Just then, the sexy woman grabbed Maura's hair.

It's time I tested you Bara.

"Akhhh!! It hurts! Please release!" Maura shouted for Bara to hear it. Maura fell to the floor.

BRUGH!

"What the fuck?!" Bara asks what happened, she sees Maura falling to the floor with disheveled hair.

"Bara.hiks..." Maura cried, she looked at Bara.

I'll see if you care about me or not, Bara.

"I-I didn't say anything about her. I swear, baby" said the woman in self-defense.

Damnit damnit! I didn't push him, he fell alone. Is he pretending?

Bara stared intently at the sexy woman in front of him. He brought the woman not to torture Maura's body, but her heart and mind.

Bara helped Maura stand up, she looked at the woman with a slight sense of empathy. "Auw.sakit.." Maura groaned while holding his right leg, one hand holding Bara's hand.

"Can you walk?" bara asked while holding Maura's hand, but Maura brushed him off.

"I can do it myself." Maura said as she tried to walk on her own. But he fell a moment later. "Ugh.. "

Why didn't I fall?. Maura wondered why she did not fall to the floor. It turned out that a pair of burly hands were holding his body.

Bara, it turns out you have a heart. Then I will use that heart to destroy you, just as you destroyed me.
