Chapter 43. Your life is precious, little girl!

Bryan and Evan come to the hospital to see Maura, but there is no one in the room.

"Who? Where are Hanna and Maura?" asked Evan who was astonished because he did not see anyone in the room.

"Is it possible to go to the toilet?" Bryan guessed Maura might go to the toilet.

The two men entered the ward that no one was there. Then shortly afterwards, Hanna came carrying a small bag of cookies in her hand. "Maura, it's I've brought-in"

Hanna did not finish her words when she saw Bryan and Evan there, but there was no Maura. "Who? Han, where are you from? Aren't you in the toilet with Maura?" ask Evan to Hanna.

"On the toilet? No, I just got home for a cake... Maura is a little hard to eat and she says she wants her favorite chocolate cake. So, I bought it in the future." Hanna explained to Evan.

"Huh? So where's Maura?" ask Evan worriedly.

"So he's here, isn't there?" Hanna's confused.

Bryan opened the bathroom door in the room and there was no one there. "Where? Nothing?" Evan was anxious because there was no Maura in the room.

When Bryan, Evan and Hanna were looking for Maura around there. A nurse walked in the hallway. The nurse asked Hanna what she was doing in the hallway like looking for something.

"Mom, Miss Maura's relative's mother, right?" Ask the nurse to Hanna.

"Yes, sister, did you check on Maura this afternoon? Did the nurse see Maura? She's not in her room, sus." Hanna asked the nun her forehead wrinkled and her heart had not calmed down yet because Maura had not been found.

"So I saw Mrs Maura coming out of the room she said she wanted to take a walk for a while. Has he not returned?" The sister asked back because she saw that Maura's departure had been gone for quite a while.

"When did the nurse see him leave?" ask Bryan who's still there.

"About half an hour ago, sir" the nurse replied to Bryan.

Bryan was silent, he looked panicked to hear it. He was afraid that Maura would do nothing because of the stress and heartbreak of Bara. "Suster, did the nurse see where Maura went?" ask Hanna.

"I looked up at the emergency stairs" the nurse replied.

"Emergency ladder?" Bryan, Hanna, and Evan get stuck hearing it, they wonder why Maura went there.

Bad thoughts and prejudices started popping up in their heads. The three of them also found a way to find the girl to every emergency staircase in the hospital.

Hanna and Evan search the emergency staircase leading to the lower floors of the hospital and Bryan searches the stairs leading to the hospital roof. "Please..you're not here, are you a little girl?" bryan murmured anxiously.

The man climbed the stairs leading to the top floor of the hospital, opening an aluminum door on the top floor of the hospital.

Bryan was looking for Maura's whereabouts there. "Ah...what the hell am I doing? He can't be here" said Bryan, who turned his back.

But when he looked to the left, he saw a long-haired woman standing on the wall. "Hey!" Bryan shouted at the woman.

Bryan ran over to Maura who was standing on the wall. "Little girl, you can't do this!"

Maura looked at the man in astonishment, her face plain as if she did not understand what Bryan was saying. "What am I going to do?"

Why is Bryan looking at me like that? He looks panicked.

"Whatever you want to do, you better stop right now! Get down, danger!" Bryan said to Maura, asking her to come down from up there.

"I just..."

"DOWN!" Bryan's eyes looked at the woman in panic, he was afraid to see Maura still standing there.

"A moment, I'm willing"

Bryan again cut off Maura's words. "I know you're hurt because of him, but do you have to destroy yourself like this? You deserve to be happy, you have the right to start a better life.Don't just because one person hurt you, you end your life. Believe that happiness will come to you, disturb all tears with a smile, there are still many who love you. Little girl, your life is precious..." Bryan's advice and persuasion of Maura.

Maura was stunned to hear Bryan say to her. He finally understood the meaning of Bryan's words.

Does he think I'm going to kill myself? PFut.the face that is always confident and haughty, it can panic and worry others as well. Do I just work on him, right?

The woman held her laughter in her heart, she was astonished to see the panicked Bryan before her eyes.

"I don't want to live anymore, I can't." Maura held onto her chest, her face was heartless showing helplessness.

Bryan was panicking to see it that way. "Don't say that, I'm sure you're strong! There are still many who love you in this world, Revandra and also your friend Hanna. They'll be sad if you decide to go."

That bastard! He had to pay many times over for already making a little girl like this. Bryan is upset at Bara who has made Maura give up on living.

"Let's go down.Come, I'll catch you!" Bryan stretched out his hands ready to catch Maura.

"If I don't want to go down, what?" Maura held back her smile seeing that panicked face.

"Then I'll pull you up, please hurry down.The scary stand there!" Bryan was panicking.

Maura's intention wanted to go down immediately, but his ill-fated leg slipped. "Kyaaka!!"

Bryan clutched his hand before the woman fell down, now Maura hanging on the top floor of the hospital building. "Please..." Maura looked at Bryan, she panicked for fear of falling.

"Basil...if you end up asking for help like this, why did you decide to die earlier? You idiot!" The man tried to pull Maura's body hanging there.

"What's? You said I was stupid?!" Maura's good black was fooled by Bryan.

In such a precarious state, Bryan and Maura were still arguing. Bryan managed to lift Maura back up by exerting all his strength. Maura breathed a sigh of relief, she fell on the body of the Xander group's president.

"You're such a fool!" Bryan looked annoyed at the woman. The two looked at each other.

"Enough sir! You keep telling me stupid! Do you think I won't be angry?" Maura was angry at the man who helped her.

"Yes, you are a fool! Deciding to commit suicide, as if in this world there is nothing you can be grateful for!" Bryan shouted furiously.

"MU...." Maura closed her mouth, holding back a laugh.

"What's? Why are you laughing like that? Is there anything funny?" Bryan raised an eyebrow, looking at the woman. His forehead was wrinkled, not understanding why Maura was so.

I was worried about her and afraid something would happen to her and she laughed instead?

"Who said I wanted to kill myself?"

"Do you deny it now? After what happened just now?" asked Bryan cynically.

"I don't deny it, I have no suicidal intentions at all. Like what my father said, if my life is valuable and there is still much I can be grateful for." said the woman honestly, he won there was absolutely no intention of killing himself like Bryan had said.

Bryan sizzled cynically, he could not believe Maura's words. "Liar, then why are you standing on that wall if you don't want to die?"

"You misunderstand me, not everything you see is what you think!"

"Then what was my mind like and what was wrong with what I saw?" Bryan looked angry, visible from his reddened face.

"Whatever I say now, it sounds like an excuse to you. But I really don't have any intention of killing myself,"

Bryan who was still angry, did not listen to Maura's explanation. He helped Maura stand up, then he carried Maura. He invited Maura back downstairs because her brother and friend were looking for her.

"Sir, I can walk alone."

"Just shut! Who knows if you're trying to jump again?" Bryan nagged at the woman, he was afraid Maura would try to kill herself as he thought.

Maura felt something thumping in her chest. He felt happy because there was an increase in someone watching him. "Thank you, you are a good friend" Maura said with a smile.

Bryan gasped at the friend's words, he was uncomfortable with the expression of gratitude.

Friends huh? I'm sorry, but I don't want to be your friend, I want to be your lover. But how do I say it now? This is not the right time.

Bryan carried Maura, down the stairs and they returned to the ward.

"Mahr..." Alya looked at her child who looked angry. There was also Ghea who visited her brother.

"Yes" Alya answered briefly
