Chapter 24. Who is cheating?

Arriving at the office, Bryan immediately called Evan to his room. Bryan asks Evan if Maura received his help to pay off Bara's debt.

"So, your cousin's sister refused my help?" Bryan sounded disappointed after he heard Evan's reply, that Maura refused help from him.

"Yes sir, Maura said that she has her own plans and asked me not to do anything because the problem is not about money" Evan told Bryan.

"Sorry, I asked like this because I was very curious. I'd say anything to anyone else, but could it be that your cousin's sister intends to take revenge on her husband?" Bryan catches Maura's intention of refusing his help because he wants revenge.

After talking to Evan, Bryan called Ferry into his room. He asked Ferry about Bara and Maura. "Ferry, what did you find?"

"I managed to find some information about their marriage, everything Mr. Revandra said was true. Mr. Bara married Mr. Maura out of revenge on Mr. Samuel." Ferry explained while giving a document in a brown envelope to the President's desk.

"What is that revenge?" bryan asked increasingly curious about Bara's relationship with Maura. Bryan opened the big brown envelope.

"She can see it in the document." Ferry said as he lowered his head.

Bryan opened his documents, he saw the data of a 16-year-old girl who committed suicide in the school building. Alina Sahara, that's the name of the woman who committed suicide because of shame caught pregnant out of wedlock.

"Ferry, what does this girl have to do with Mr. Bara and Mr. Samuel?" bryan asked with a frown.

"From the information I got, this girl named Alina was raped by Mr. Samuel until she became pregnant and she was a little friend of Mr. Bara and his girlfriend."

"What's? I don't believe this..Elected people like Mr. Samuel can do depraved things?!" Bryan frowned, he could not believe that Samuel who looked good in the eyes of his clients and business friends would do such a depraved thing to an underage girl. Even the girl committed suicide. "But, whatever his mistake. shouldn't Maura be a samsak!" Bryan clenched his hands in annoyance.

At the Agradana family home, Bara and Maura are still arguing over the letters and flowers courier delivered to Maura.

"You have no right to throw away the flowers!"

"I'm entitled to do this because I'm your husband Maura!" bara's Snatch on Maura.

"His husband? Are you kidding me? Our relationship seems to be just an employer and a maid!" maura was upset.

An annoyed Maura decided to leave from there, she took her sling bag, not even she finished her work.

"Where are you going?!" Bara held onto Maura's wrist. "Basic, cheating woman." Bara's sizzle was angry.

"Enough! Don't talk anymore!" Bara did not want to lose the debate with Maura.

"Yes, I don't want to talk to you anymore. I'd better just go to work!" Maura exclaimed as she brushed off Bara's hand in annoyance.

Their debate ended with Maura's departure from the house. Bara also has to go to work because he is too late, although Bara still wants to talk to Maura. His heart was upset to see the letter and the flower.

When he arrived at the office, Bara kept thinking about Maura and who the man who became Maura's affair. That afternoon Bara held a meeting with a client from the Xander group company, she invited Maura to go with her because this was related to design and Maura as the head of the design team had to come with her with Nathan as well.

The three of them arrived at a luxury restaurant with Japanese characteristics and had a lesehan seat. "Nathan, does Chairman Xander of the group like Japanese food?"

"I do not know sir, as far as I know the Chairman of Xander group was more pleased with European cuisine because he was of European descent" explained Nathan to Bara.

Suddenly Bara fell silent, thinking of something.

After Maura came out of the toilet, she saw a familiar figure leaning against the wall near the women's toilet. His body and face were like beautiful sculptures, so all the women there could not turn the face of the man of European descent.

"Woah who is that? What artist?"

"Great handsome!" said an enchanted woman.

Maura saw clearly the man, yet she chose to ignore him and just walked over.

Maura was startled and turned her face when she felt her hand being held by a large palm. "Deliver!"

"Woah, how can we meet again here? I told you we're destiny." Bryan said, smiling at Maura.
