TRAPPED IN THE PAST STORY
CHAPTERS 169. DANIEL'S SORROW.

Daniel is sitting on a sofa holding his baby. Repeatedly he stared at the face of his wife from afar and the face of the child that Shasha had just born.

"When will my wife wake up?"daniel asked the doctor who had just finished surgery and was currently approaching Daniel in the room where Shasha was still lying.

"So soon sir, it's likely that your wife is asleep."

"Dok ... Doc !" call the wrong nurse to the doctor with a worried tone.

Daniel did not know what the doctors and nurses were talking about because of a barrier, a mask.

The doctor immediately checked Shasha's heartbeat. The doctor's calm attitude has changed. He immediately approached Shasha, at the check of Shasha's heartbeat. Daniel himself who saw did not know what was really going on.

At this time what Daniel saw was the doctor checking his wife's respiratory condition . Daniel, who was about to stand up to his wife, was stopped by the nurse so that Daniel would be asked to leave the operating room, because for labor is finished and not only that the baby who was in Daniel's cradle was asked.

"Sus, why my son?"

"Sorry sir, we have to put him here first to bring him closer to his father's wife for early initiation. So, please wait in the patient's room?" said sister with understanding.

Daniel obeyed the nurse's words, for him the important child was born and soon his wife who was inside was being treated by a doctor. Although Daniel's heart felt uncertain when he saw what he had just seen with the words of his wife who was still ringing in the ears.

"Shasha has given birth, our daughter" Daniel said with a half-happy face.

"What mother is still inside, Dad?" ask Ecka who suddenly came down from Joshka's embrace.

"Mom .. Mom will soon wake up. You pray, son. We better wait in the patient's room."

"Hore .... Hurray .... Ecka has a baby sister." said Ecka excitedly.

Sally and Melly embrace each other, they are both so happy including Joshka and Idris who are grateful while shedding tears.

Unlike Alea who was suspicious of his cousin's face. He immediately went to a room where he had to change his clothes and wash his hands first to find out the true condition of Shasha.

It turns out that the wife of his friends who are none other than friends of his wife came too. They provide surprises and gifts for the birth of Shasha-Daniel's second child including decorating the usual room like a patient's room in general into a room of cute and festive decorations.

"Thank you for the surprise" said Daniel with a happy face with a smile but his eyes looked blank as if something was being thought of.

"Niel, where's Shasha and the baby?" ask Mutia and Secil.

Daniel tried to calmly answer the question. "They'll both be here soon."

Moments later the nurse came with a baby that Shasha had just born.

Gts .... Hc .(.(There was a knock from outside.)

"Sir, the baby I put here." a nurse told Daniel.

"Thank you, then my wife?" asked Daniel with a sharp look.

No questions from Daniel Alea have yet been answered.

"Daniel, come with me" Alea said, drawing Daniel's hand.

"Deliver! I'm asking the nurse how my wife is!" snapped Daniel.

"Eat him come with me" Alea said calmly. He was not angry because he knew that his cousin was worried about the state of his wife.

Hearing Daniel's loud voice made everyone who was there look at each other including Ecka.

Seeing Daniel like that soon Joshki held Ecka to be invited to see the baby who was sleeping soundly.

"Sister, this is Brother. I spoke loudly because I was worried about my mother" Ecka told her sister. Joshki who heard that looked at his wife who had been beside the baby. They were both stunned, unable to believe that a child as small as Ecka could talk like that.

Joshka who had arrived with Alea, Joshki and Ratih chose outside the room, but when he heard the tension inside made him choose to enter.

"Follow Dady." said Joshka with a sharp look.

The weakness in his knees began to fall on Daniel. He knew that if something had happened to his wife, he almost fell over with Joshka holding Daniel's body.

"Regend! Strengthen your heart!" whiskey Joshka. "Be sure and pray that your soulmate will be healed, son." continued Joshka strengthen Daniel.

Daniel tried to stand straight out of the room and followed Alea who had walked in front. There she saw her in-laws drowning, including Melly, her mother.

"Dady can't explain. Come in, the doctor is waiting for you."

With a long sigh he tried to step quickly to enter the doctor's room.

"Sir Daniel, I congratulated him on the birth of his daughter. But here I have to explain that the mother still has to be treated because shortly after the operation the father's wife had a heart attack.

"heart attack? Then how's it going now?" daniel asked in shock.

"The father's wife is unconscious, and is now in the ICU."

Daniel's heart was pounding, a bad taste began to hit him, I don't know what he felt at this time. Suddenly the fear of losing his wife appeared to him. He began to close his eyes with both hands.

"Sir, pray. Give strength to your wife. You may be sad but do not forget to pray and remember both fathers."

Instantly Daniel's strength comes as Ecka's smile appears in his mind and the sound of his daughter's cry that Shasha has just born.

Daniel tried to stand up and face the fact that his wife was still unconscious. He tried to calm his heart with a speech of the wife who always ringed in the ear shortly before his wife was sedated.

Bie, I'm gonna go to bed first. You are strong, baby. I believe you can. After our son is born, give him the most beautiful name. Please take care and love them.

Daniel stepped into the ICU room, he saw from the glass the condition of his wife. He could not see but he tried to force to see the woman he loved was lying on a ventilator attached to the mouth.

Unknowingly both tears came out soaking his handsome face, unable to see the condition of his wife. Daniel tried to sit crouching while lowering his face down as his cries began to break , his usual neat hair now looks messy because he unconsciously repeatedly pulled his hair because he felt he had done evil to his wife.

Lord, what trials have you given me.

Please wake my wife ...

I can't see him lying down like that ....

Please wake him up ....

I promise I'll behave better and never hurt or waste it.

Please grant my prayer ...

Give me a chance to make amends for all the mistakes and stupidities I've done to her.

Daniel who was crying crouched down started wiping away his tears, he still closed his eyes to strengthen his heart.

His longing for chatting with his wife appeared, because he wanted to give news about their two children. Now the calm Daniel tried to stand up and set his feet toward the room where the wife was lying.

There is no smile and greeting that Shasha usually does as usual when welcoming her husband. Right now all that was heard was the sound of the monitor accompanying Daniel's words.

Daniel tried to sit next to his wife while kissing her hand.

"Honey .. Our child is born. She's beautiful but she looks like me, and I've been carrying her. Surely you want to too, huh? Then wake up, baby."

The self-talking Daniel knew that there might be no reply but he still hoped that the wife would respond to all her words.

"It looks like you still want to sleep huh, Ay? Then go to sleep first. Coincidentally the little one is still bubu but please do not for long yes because Ecka repeatedly asked where mom was, but, I told her that mom was still sleeping but she answered why she was like snow white for so long and she asked me to kiss you. She really looks like you, romantic.

For the umpteenth time Daniel spoke to his wife who was lying down and still no response. He did not give up, he continued to talk, although he did not get a response at least Shasha would hear everything said by him.

"If you still don't want to wake up now it's okay but promise to be strong like me who is strong taking care of sister. He was so happy to drink, there was not an hour he always cried for a drink. Oh he I forgot, at your request I have given him a name, a beautiful name that is Zyva Himalaya. Do you like it?" daniel asked, stroking his wife's hand. " Zyva means luminous and Himalaya is your last name."

All the families who saw Daniel from behind the glass were sad. Tears that had been detained had finally spilled. Melly and Sally both hid their cries on their husbands' shoulders, as did Alea and Ratih who could not hold back their tears.

It's been a week since Shasha was admitted to the ICU. Doctors have said that the heart failure experienced by Shasha due to exposure to Amnion Liquid Embolism or commonly called Amniotic fluid embolism.

Amniotic fluid embolism is a complication that occurs when amniotic fluid or parts of the fetus enter the mother's bloodstream through the base of the uterine placenta. This condition can occur during labor or after the birth process is complete.

Knowing that his wife had the condition Daniel and the family were speechless, they just tried and prayed for Shasha to come to her senses.
