"Sorry, I'm a little late. I was unable to sleep last night. You guys been waiting a long time?" Jeon felt sorry for everyone because it was too late to go down to the dining table.
"It's not because you can not sleep less, but you did not sleep all night because you both miss the same in the kitchen" said Jeff while eating his food casually.
Everyone stopped continuing their activities and everyone's eyes were on Jeff. Missing is the only human being who coughed due to choking on his drinking water.
"What does that mean, Jeff?" Merlin asked.
"I don't need to answer, you see for yourself what's in my HP." Jeff put his phone on the table and swiped it near his parents.
Missing and Jeon just stared confusedly mixed with misgivings. Hearing Jeff's previous sentence, Jeon and Miss thought for sure Jeff saw them in the kitchen last night and there was a misunderstanding.
Mr. Jo and Ms. Merlin looked at each other after seeing Jeff's phone which showed Miss holding Jeon's hand.
Anyone who saw the picture, must have misunderstood, not least the two parents who were in the house.
"What is this, Je, Rin? You two in the kitchen at midnight?" Ms. Merlin asked as if she could not believe what she was seeing.
"Ma, I can explain. It's not what you see."
"How was it then, Je? It's clear here that you guys are holding hands. And the clock in this photo is midnight. What are you doing in the kitchen?"
"Ma, they won't want to be asked like anything. This is why I want to move house. No matter how good Jeon is, he's still a grown man. It's not ethical that I miss living here. This is what I'm afraid of, I'm afraid that they're in a relationship behind us." Jeff added oil to the fire that was already burning even though it was very small.
"What are you saying, Mas? What do you think I am human? You think I'm a cheap, married woman and then dating her own sister-in-law?"
"Yes, that's how it is, right? It's impossible if there's nothing to do, but hold hands. If you want to talk, yes just talk normally, do not use hold-hold everything. You guys must have made a pact to meet here, impossible if it wasn't planned."
"Don't make the atmosphere more cloudy, brother. I'm the same Miss did not accidentally meet. I make noodles, Mommy misses taking water. Where are you planning to go?"
"The same mom Papa saw for himself, right? They defend each other. Yeah, well, logic now, Ma, Pa. If they did meet accidentally meeting they will not sit together at the dining table and hold hands. Just saying hello and talking for a while still makes sense. But in this picture, what is this accidental factor?"
Jeon and Rindu panicked when they saw the faces of their parents as if consumed by the words of their eldest son.
"Ma, Pa I can explain as much detail as possible why me and Mommy miss sitting here." Jeon pleaded with both of them to trust him.
"That's enough! Papa wants to see the cctv footage first. Only then will Papa conclude who is right and wrong."
Not wanting to waste time, Mr. Jo left the dining table which was then followed by his wife.
"Mas, why are you doing this? What is it talk about first, do not you draw your own conclusions. What you see does not necessarily correspond to the truth."
"I don't care if you have any relationship. All I care about is whatever it takes, I gotta get you out of here. After that, if you're going to date or not, it's none of my business."
"Your path, Mas. You justify all means to your own satisfaction. The one you sacrificed was me, your wife."
Hearing the shape to the protest from Miss made Jeff immediately stand up from his seat. He stared at the woman with a hardened jaw.
"I never considered you my wife, in this world there is only one woman who has me, my heart, and my life. But the guy's not you." Steadily Jeff pointed at Miss's face with his index finger.
"You admit it or not, in fact I still win over your lover. The one who has rights over you is me, wants you to love as much as he does, still you will not be able to do anything."
"You're challenging me?"
"Yes, I'm challenging you!"
"So far no one has dared to challenge me like you. Aren't you talking about what happened?"
Jeff started to crumble with his rough hands. He firmly gripped the arm that had a scar on his nail. The longing reflex turned his facial features into pain as his wounds were pressed back.
Jeon actually did not want to interfere, but it was not wrong if he let Miss in such pain.
"So unconscious, Brother. What is Brother doing? I miss the pain." Jeon approached and tried to remove Jeff's hand from Miss's arm.
"Effort to cherish Jeon, he has defended you greatly today. Continue your date, don't break up before we get divorced."
Missing to gasp with her husband's words. Who does not feel pain when hearing the word divorce from the mouth of his partner, especially at the age of their marriage is only two days.
Unknowingly misses dropping her tears.
"I don't need your tears. Wanting to cry as much and for whatever length, will have no effect on my heart. It's free for you to spend your tears on me. Just save your tears."
Jeff left the dinner table after that. The tears of longing still dripped without being asked. He did not want to look weak, but his tears could not lie that his heart was hurt again. He sat in the chair with his face covered.
"Sorry, Ma'am."
Realizing there was still Jeon, Long looked up and wiped away her tears.
"It's happening out of our control. Everything's gonna be okay."
Missing a little palpable arm that feels sore. Jeff's nail scar hasn't even dried up at all, and now it's added to the grip.
"Your arm hurts? I know that Jeff was very strong to hold your hand. Can I see?"
"No, Je. It's okay, I can take my own medicine."
"Obati? The grip is strong, but I don't think it leaves a mark, maybe it's just blushing. Why do we need to treat?"
I miss knowing that he is lost.
"I mean, can be given an ointment or oil that can reduce the pain. That means." I miss answering with a sigh.
"Yes, I helped. You won't be able to give the medicine alone. I can't see which one hurts." Jeon stepped up to take the medicine box.
"Later if anyone sees me misunderstand me again, Je."
"Well, that's it with my mom."
"Jeez, Je. I can do it myself."
"Better to know it's me or Mama? He said friend."
"Friends don't have to know everything, already there you go to college, I'll treat this."
"Alright, I'll get out of here.
Jeon then stepped away from there, but he did not really leave. He waited a while and hid behind the wall.
The longing that fell because he no longer heard Jeon's soles, opened his sleeves slightly and saw four small wounds that looked still reddened. Jeon's eyes widened when he saw the wound.
