"You go home careful, yeah. When you get home, don't forget to tell me. Gotta tell me! Again I'm sorry, yes. I can't take it."
Jeon and Miss are standing in the hospital yard waiting for an online taxi that Jeon ordered to drive Miss home.
"It's okay, I understand. Don't worry so much, I can take care of myself."
"Where am I not worried? It's late and I'm asking you to go home by yourself. If you know this, maybe I'll take you home first."
"I've heard the words from someone. If you love someone, you have to trust that person."
Jeon gave a smile, his hands raised up to place it on the top of the woman's head and shuffled her hair slowly. Not long after, the taxi Jeon ordered came.
"Sir, please take my future wife home safely, yes."
Miss surprised. Yeah, miss just be surprised. There was no rejection or anything he did. Instead, the woman seemed to be squeezing her cheeks and clenching her mouth withholding a smile. Not wanting any of his misdeeds to be known by Jeon, he immediately got into a taxi.
"Don't forget to let you know when you get home." I don't know how many times Jeon said that to Miss.
Jeon pecked for a moment on the spot, he ushered in Miss's departure with the tail of his eyes. After the taxi was not seen, he returned to the hospital. He remembered that he left his brother alone in a room with his late wife.
Jeff was devastated by the passing of his wife. He was only able to sit quietly while looking at the Queen's body that was stretched stiff. No words, hysterics, cries, or any action indicates that he is grieving. It was very different from when he was outside the room.
And what Jeff did instead made Jeon even more concerned. Being quiet and unwilling to show any expression while losing someone was the saddest response.
"If you want to cry, cry, brother. Don't hold it, it won't be good for health."
No response from Jeff. The man remembered his friendship with the Queen after marriage. The beginning of a marriage is full of quarrels and debates. The queen who never wanted to give up and always wanted to be obeyed.
And his stubborn self and drowning in his troubles. Drowning in a strange feeling that suddenly appears to Miss. The feeling of wanting to maintain his household with a woman he once hated, really that time was a time that made Jeff regretted because he had had ignored the Queen even if only for a moment.
Fortunately the bad memories he could replace with changes that turned out to also bring change for the Queen. At least he could pour out his affection fully in the woman's final days.
"Why, Rat? Why are you the heart? You told me once that after our son was born, you wanted me to take him home to see my parents. He said you also want to fight for the blessing of both my parents. Why did you give up before you fought? You break the promise, Rat. How am I supposed to explain to our son when I ask his mother?"
Jeff said it all with his mouth shaking, he did not want to cry in front of his wife's body, he tried as hard as he could not cry. For the last time, he kissed his wife's forehead long ago.
"He had a good sleep, and you didn't wake up. Your name will always be in your heart. Thank you for making me your last man" Jeff softly whispered.
After the last words of Jeff, the Queen's body was taken by health workers, the Queen's body will be bathed first before being taken to the funeral home to be buried. During that process, the two men simply waited shrouded in grief.
"The patient brother. This is the way of God. There will be wisdom in every incident that greets us."
"Yes, I'm sincere despite the weight."
Not long after, Jeff's parents came. Ms. Merlin immediately hugged her son with a sob. The burning longing coupled with the suffering of his son felt he could not bear to hold his cry. While Mr. Jo just kept quiet while looking in all directions.
"Yes, Mom, I'm okay. I'm strong, on behalf of the Queen I'm sorry. Too many of our mistakes. He had already left with a mistake that he had not been able to apologize for. I beg you, Mama and Papa, I apologize for the Queen's mistakes."
"Yes. We have forgiven him. Forget it, forget about what happened yesterday. What kind of child are you? He survived, right?"
"Yes. Still in the treatment room, she needs to be in the incubator because it's not yet time to be born."
"It's okay, the important thing is that he's okay. Who will represent the family during his mother's funeral?"
"Let me, Ma" said Jeon.
And a few hours after that, he stood in one of the rooms that was not large. He saw in the glass window a struggling baby alone in a special room for him.
Her smile was sweet. Jeon is the kind of guy who really likes kids. That's why he became a doctor. In addition, he also has a strong reason why he wants to take the profession.
Seeing a baby who is alone reminds me of myself. I don't know how many hours the baby hasn't been touched by his mother. She will never be able to feel the touch of her own mother's hand. Didn't the baby and himself have the same fate? The difference is, the baby still has a side of luck, which still has a father and will be loved by many people, while he? It hurts to remember being dumped in the trash. Is there no better place to live than a dumpster?
Until now he did not know who his birth mother was, who his father was, what their name was. Does he have siblings, are his parents still alive? He knows nothing about his parents. Somehow he found out the whereabouts of his two biological parents, his foster parents also did not know at all about the two biological parents.
