Tucked In Both Hearts

Tucked In Both Hearts
68. Speak From Heart to Heart

The next morning Jeon was allowed to return home due to his good condition. The man forbade his parents to pick him up. He was only picked up by Miss because he wanted to spend time with that woman alone.

"You and your mom are going home?" Bima and Jeon cross paths in the hospital hallway.

"Yes, Brother. Thanks for the advice last night. I'm much better now. I'm glad I got to know Brother."

"I feel the same way." Jeon reached into his pants pocket and handed him a medium-sized piece of paper. "Don't hesitate to come here if you need a friend, yeah. Looks like I had to pull my words last night that said our meeting was first and last. I hope we'll see you again someday. I'd be happy if you'd see me. Make me your brother."

Bima is back in tears. He did not think his meeting last night actually made him find a good and sincere friend.

"Doctor? Doctor's sister? His words and profession continued. The words from my sister made my mind open. Thank ye. I will definitely come to Brother someday. I'm not gonna lose that wise big brother I just met last night." Bima gave a hug before she actually left the hospital. He had looked at Miss for a moment before he actually left the all-white building.

"When did Jeon become wise?" ask Missing himself.

"Want me tell you what the story is? I'll tell you along the way." Jeon grabbed onto Miss's shoulder and he took the woman away from there.

"You can advise people, as if you can advise yourself." Miss sneered after Jeon finished telling her what happened last night. They are now sitting side by side on a park bench.

"Sometimes we do need advice from others to open our minds, right? Everyone is like that, honey. One person and another have a different view. As has happened to us lately. You have a different view of me when you see the same person. From Bima there is one thing I get. It seems like I also have to open my mind to see the other side. Before I grant you what you want, tell me what you discussed when you met Ms. Mita."

"Would you like to meet him after I tell you about him?"

Jeon nodded despite his doubts. He seems to force himself to meet or at least talk once with the woman who makes himself in this world. He was more worried about himself after seeing and knowing Bima. The hatred and anger he was experiencing now could not be comparable to the regrets he would face later.

It took Jeon a full night to make this decision. Much was considered before he decided to say 'yes' to his lover.

The row of sentences Missing out was heard carefully and attentively by Joen. Word by word he heard so pierced his ears and heart right on target. As thousands of bullets struck him simultaneously, Jeon's heart heard the story of Longing.

Forget about him being dumped by his mother, forget that he just accepted the fact he was going to sell his father to the rich, and forget the pain of being dumped. What Jeon asked, wasn't there an orphanage 26 years ago? Not a relative who would care for her? Couldn't her mother have escaped far away and lived alone? Why did his mother have to flee a considerable distance, but instead left him alone? In the trash can? Why would she prefer to continue living with her husband and then leave without picking him up. As troublesome as she was to the mother?

"Mom really wants to bring you both to life with me. But how do you take care of yourself if you can't take care of yourself? I have nothing, nothing to sell. Even the clothes you wear are hospital clothes. I don't allow you to buy anything for me." Ms. Mita grabbed her son's left hand for him to hold.

"I'm sorry Mom was wrong. I shouldn't have put you in a dirty place. Forgive your loser mother, son. I promise after this I won't see you again if you don't want to see me. I'll go back abroad if you don't want a place with me. You won't be angry with me even if you don't want to see me. It's okay, son. Importantly, before Mom died, I've gotten sorry from you, I've met my son. That was enough for Mom. I won't take you from your foster parents, even though I actually want to. I know they must have spent a lot to take care of their mother's child and raise her. Until my son became a doctor. Not only the money they spend, but the energy, time, affection that you can't love. It's impossible if you have no desire to take you away from them. But relax, I'm not that selfish right now. Thank you, yes you have listened to Mom's story. I'm going to see Mom. Today is a painful and happy day for Mom."

"Hurtful?"

"Mom should be back tomorrow. Because I came here just to see you and apologize. Your sisters are alone at home."

"I have a sister?"

"Yes. You have two sisters. One woman and one man." Ms. Mita wiped away her tears that were about to fall and took something inside her bag. Fiddled with his phone for a while and showed it to his eldest son.

Jeon reflexively grabbed the thing and observed it. There are women and men who look smiling looking at the camera. They almost have the same face, the age distance of both also appears not far away.

"They are your sisters named Nabila and Abil. Nabila is 21 and Abil is 19."

"Mom's been here for over a year. You left them alone?"

"Someone takes care of them there. They don't mind because they know what you're here for. I can't tell them many things about you, because I don't have memories. But after coming home from here I'll tell you a lot. Well, even though we are together only today."

"Why tomorrow? Why not wait a few more days?"

"You mind Mom coming back tomorrow?"

"No. What makes me object?"

Bu Mita's heart felt stifled hearing the answer from her son. Even though he had already earned his apology and could speak heart to heart with his son, it certainly still caused a different kind of pain when his son did not prevent him from coming home sooner.
