Two Different Love Flavors
Chapter 2: How?

"Dok, how's my husband?" ask the mother as soon as she sees the doctor coming out the IGD door

"alhamdulillah he was aware, but he seems to have some serious problems, for more sure we need to do a thorough examination on him" explained the Doctor

"do everything that the dock needs" said Shania who had just come after praying at the hospital mosque

"well, we'll do a thorough examination soon"

"can we see Dad?" ask Damar Shania's youngest sister

"please, but please take turns and make sure not to talk too much, avoid the burden of excessive thoughts because at this time all he needs is adequate rest and calm" explained the doctor

"well doc, thank you"

Two days after the father received treatment in the hospital, family members took turns to look after the father in the day and night, but Shania herself has not returned at all since the father entered the Hospital, he was the one who was most saddened to see the condition of the father and again there was a hint of guilt in the corner of his heart.

"excuse me" said someone from behind the curtain who had confined the father's bed to another patient

"yes" Shania replied turning to the source of the voice

"Bram, how's your condition?" ask Mr. Alex and his wife and two sons who came to visit

"it's improved, why bother coming here?"answer Daddy

Shania's eyes rounded to find Agam Hartanto staring intently at her, as memories returned to his conversation with his previous father about their wedding plans. Shania blinked a few times reluctantly imagining if the marriage was really happening, seeing the current Agam's attitude being so cold that it frightened her even more.

"sorry we just had a visit" said Mrs Rosa Alex's wife

"no matter ma'am, we just feel sad because it has been troublesome" replied Ms. Shania

"om, may soon be well" Agam and Adam shook the hands of the father alternately

Shania chose to leave the room in order to provide flexibility for parents

chatting casually since they were basically old friends, there was definitely a lot they would talk about.

Shania sat alone in the corner of the waiting chair in front of the father's room as well as Agam and Adam,the silent voice was so pronounced among the three as none of them had any intention of opening the conversation.

The awkwardness was felt when Adam decided to go home first because he had to go to campus for his lecture schedule that afternoon.

"what's up?"sapa Shania ventured to open the conversation but Agam just glanced at her without answering, he just left the hospital without even noticing to his parents

"basic... There was a person as cold as ice" Shania grumbled angrily pedaling her fist towards Agam who was walking back as if he was about to hit him.

"dad always looks happy when chatting with Alex" muttered Shania smilingly looking at the father joking and laughing cheerfully from the gap of the glass door

Shania sat back in the waiting chair playing her postel, she only realized there were some messages and calls from Fahri since last night but she ignored it because she was focused on the state of the father

"Shan, are you asleep?you pick up Sunday at seven o'clock at night, there's something you want to talk about" the top message Shania opened

"sorry brother I just reply, good on Sunday I have no show"

"okay Shania, I'll see you Sunday night" Fahri replied quickly

Shania smiled reading the message, she already had a hunch what Fahri would tell her. It is even more amused to imagine what the day will be like to convey his feelings, the dipper with Shania did not stop smiling.

The setting sun gave off a brownish-yellow light, entering the father's room through a thin curtain that closed the glass windows of the VVIP room on the fourth floor of the Hospital. Mr. Alex was the one who arranged the transfer of the father's room from the 2nd class to a VVIP room full of five-star hotel-like facilities.

"good afternoon" said an internal medicine specialist who entered my father's ward after knocking on the door first

"dock in the afternoon" replied Shania who is currently waiting for the father alone because her mother and her two sisters had to go home to pick up some father's clothes

" Sania's mom from Bram's lab is out, can you come with me for a minute? I'll explain"

"here alone doc, I also want to hear how my health condition because I often feel pain in the chest" said Dad interjected

"well then, from the results of the examination of Mr. Bram's kidneys have been liberated and this is already in a chronic condition that causes the organs that are also starting to be problematic" explained the doctor

Shania was so devastated to hear the doctor's lengthy explanation with various medical terms that she did not understand them at all, only one that he knew that the condition of the father was not good and this turned out to have lasted a long time just that the father never told the truth

Shania cried as much as she could after the doctor's departure, she hugged the father regretting why he was late to know the condition of the father.

Derrrt... Father Bram's cell phone rang in a lever but the owner did not realize because he was busy with his work.

"sir Bram" call Dad's friend

"iya kang, what's wrong?"

"oh again naggung kang" replied Father who was working as a building porters and was carrying two buckets of cement dough

"thank you kang" said Dad rushed to pick up the phone in the bag not far from where he stood

"mother" murmured father saw it was true the wife who called him

"astagfirullah, yes Dad's coming home now directly to the Hospital"

Dad rushed to the Hospital regardless of his work anymore even the permission on the leader was not what he thought was the condition of the friend, his childhood friend.

Arriving at the hospital Dad was greeted by sobs of Mr. Alex's wife Rosa's mother from the story of Mr. Rosa Father knowing that Mr. Alex was in poor condition and needed a kidney donor as soon as possible.

With various considerations and of course also the permission of the father's mother finally donated one of his kidneys after a long examination that must be passed. As it has been God's destiny all the examinations and requirements for eligibility as a kidney donor Father fulfilled it.

"mas Bram and mbak Lia, I am very grateful for your sacrifice" said Miss Rosa a few days after the successful operation

"same ma'am, hopefully Alex will get better soon" said Dad

"Bram.." a soft voice called out to Dad.

"Alex, are you awake?" Dad was so happy to find that his best friend had opened his eyes again

"pahs... Thank goodness you finally realized" Miss Rosa hugged the husband full of relief

"Broth... Mas Bram who has donated his kidney to papa" said Ms Rosa

"want to what about your own health Bram?!" asked sir Alex worried, implied he was angry with the decision taken by Dad

"you rest easy, my other kidney is in good condition so God willing I will be fine" he said

"it is important now that you must be healthy, like your wife and child" continued Dad while hugging the mother who was beside him as if also wanted to convince the mother to stop worrying about him.

"and because of that incident also made Dad finally work in Alex's company, even though he actually did not want to, but either Alex or Your mother was too worried Dad had to work extra if he remained a building porters"

Shania finally ran out leaving Father, she could not help but cry out in her chest, she thought at this moment filled with worry and doubt, what kind of decision will he take.It seems unlikely that he married Agam, a man he does not love but what about the request of Father? This could be his last request. What about Fahri? All those questions were like taking turns filling his head.

Mother just looked at Shania from afar, because she wanted to give her space to release her pain.Air eyes were not able to see the sadness of the princess, he could not see the sadness of the princess, his heart was torn every time he saw Shania crying but considering what happened it felt like Agam was better than Fahri.
