68. "My dance partner is just my wife."
A black Mercedez Benz e-class car entered the area of the building that has been decorated with luxury. Kai got down first from the car and opened the door for Flova.
Alen first comes down and receives Kai's hand. She wears a silver dress decorated with flowers and matching her shoes. Kai smiled and held his hand with his right hand. Flova's turn now to come down, she again stretched out her hand.
Gracefully, she showed off her silver-colored high heels and slightly lifted her dress that blocked her path. His hand was held to help him stand up.
Flova smiled and came out perfectly from the luxury car wearing clothes that match her shoes. The ribbon-embroidered sleeveless dress on her right waist as well as the knick knacks that make her dress a little sparkling add to the elegance of each step of her entering the hallway of the flower-decorated building on each wall.
Flova occasionally let out a long sigh while holding on tightly to Kai's arm. Until they did not realize they had occupied the main room where Mr. Nuan's party was held.
Kai looked back at the slightly anxious Flova. Kai patted the back of Flova's hand and smiled at her.
"Are you scared?" ask Kai.
"I'm not afraid, because there's both of you beside me."
"I'll take you two to meet Mr. Nuan."
Flova smiled and nodded. They also walked over to Mr. Nuan who was greeting the guests.
"Excuse me, Mr. Nuan."
Nuan who turned his back was facing towards the three of them. Fleva smiled at her and let go of Kai's arm for fear of blocking them from shaking hands.
"Oh, Mr. Kai. Finally you come." say hello while shaking hands with Kai.
"certainly sir. I must have come with pleasure." she replied with a smile.
Nuan turned towards Flova. The man who looked the same age as Flova's father smiled.
"Oiya, this is my wife, Flova."
Flova nodded and smiled. However, he looked at the man before him with a different look.
"It seems this guy is no stranger."
Nuan stretched out his hand and intended to shake hands with Flova. Flova happily accepted his hand.
"Kai is similar to my old partner's son. Unfortunately, I don't know how. Is this your daughter?" ask Nuan.
Flova was about to shake her head, but Kai smiled at her.
"Yes, she's our daughter. Name's Alena. Alena salute Mr. Nuan."
"Hallo, my name's Alena" Alena said.
Nuan smiled and stroked Alena's hair in two ties and decorated with colored ribbons in line with her clothes.
"Hallo, you're so beautiful. Oiya, look at you two, Flova you just call me uncle. So you're no stranger to me."
Fleva looked towards Kai in confusion. Kai hugged Flova's waist while nodding.
"Eum. is actually sir.."
"Kai, can you explain it to your wife."
Kai looked towards Flova. "It's okay, just say it."
"By pleasure, pa-man. Thank you very much." she replied.
Suddenly, someone who looked to be the same age as Rosan, grabbed Nuan's arm spoiled.
"Dad, it turns out you're here" he said spoiledly.
"Manda. Introduce this Mr. Kai and this is Miss Flova. And this is both of them's children."
Manda is the only princess of Nuan. His wife died when he was 49 years old. And, Nuan decided not to remarry and chose to focus on his only daughter who would hold his company.
Manda looked one by one the three people who were in front of him. Manda looked towards Kai for a little while, and glanced at Flova sharply.
Shortly after, someone patted Flova on the shoulder. Then Flova looked behind her.
"Miss Giana." said Flova happily and immediately hugged her.
"It's true that this is you. It's beautiful today." she praised what made Flova blush.
Luiz, Desta's father, was also present among them. The three of them spoke up, but Manda's eyes continued to be on Kai.
It was realized by Desta and Alena who stood among the adults who were making small talk.
"It looks like there's another Auntie who wants uncle Kai." whispered Desta.
"True, I'm so handsome that a lot of people love my charm" Alena said.
"My father was like that too, if I hadn't intervened, my father might have been taken by an evil witch" said Desta.
Manda nodded and moved to a slightly wider place. Kai smiled and slightly bent his body to match his height with Alena.
"Alena dance with Desta." Kai ordered and stood up.
Alena nodded and held onto Desta's hand. Now, Kai is focused on Flova. He stretched out his hand right in front of Flova's face. Flova also without hesitation received a helping hand.
Music was played, Kai and Flova danced gracefully while looking at each other copy. The glances of mutual praise implied, clearly visible in the eyes of the two of them.
Without them knowing it, they continue to dance to the increasingly heated music. Flova spins and falls right in Kai's hands. Seeing their grace dancing made the guests stop their dance and focus on the two of them.
"Cih, what dance is that." said Manda who looked at the two of them with a dislike look.
As soon as the music was about to end, Kai ended it by holding onto Flova's waist as if they were about to fall, yet they were still able to keep up with their bodies. All the guests applauded seeing the two.
Quickly, Flova stood perfectly beside Kai. Music is back in play, with lighter music. Manda approached Kai and also Flova.
"A very good dance, even more so when dancing with me."
Manda extended her hand in front of Kai. And it was also done right in front of Flova's eyes. Flova could only silently look down, clenching her hands while squeezing her dress.
Kai grabbed onto Flova's left hand. Kai showed his hand that held gracefully Flova's hand while smiling sideways.
"My dance partner is just my wife."
Flova looked at him. His eyes glazed over looking at Kai who was in front of him.
Manda nodded and lowered her hand which was clearly rejected by Kai. Kai returns to dancing with Flova and slightly moves away from Manda.
"Tante, my father already belongs to you. Aunty can find someone more handsome than dad. And, over there, it looks like they fit in well with Auntie."
Alena pointed towards the waiter. Manda looked at Alena in annoyance and chose to stay away from the dance area.
"Kai, Alena's birthday tomorrow. I haven't prepared everything."
Kai smiled and put away the hair of Flova that slightly covered his face.
"I've prepared everything. Alena's birthday party will be held at a five-star hotel. And most of the people here have also invited me all, including Alena's teacher and friends." replied Kai lightly.
"Kue?" ask Flova again.
"Kue, birthday dresses, decorations, food, gifts, clowns, and dresses we both are all ready" replied Kai.
"I've had a lot of dresses. Why are we buying it again Kai?"
"It's okay, after all, my labor will not be in vain just for you."
"Thank you Kai."
On the other hand, Manda is so upset and chooses to quit the dance. The dance party held by the father to commemorate his company's HUT became nothing special to him.
Nuan looked for her and happened to find her in the garden. Near her the princess who was sitting on a bench of the park.
"Why are you here?" asked Nuan while embracing his daughter.
Manda was upset and lowered Nuan's hand from his shoulder.
"Dad, as far as I know Kai was married just one month ago. Is that really Kai's son?"
"He was the son of Flova's niece, his wife. Why my daughter." Nuan stroked Manda's hair spoiledly.
"I want Kai, dad."
Nuan was surprised by his daughter's statement. He stood up and walked a little away from her.
Manda only let out a long sigh because she knew for sure that the father would not agree with her request this time.
"Alright, just approach him. And I'll help you a little to get it."
Manda looked at it with happy sparkling eyes. He stood up and looked at his father.
"Is dad really?"
Nuan nodded and eagerly embraced the father from behind.
"Thank you father" said Manda.
"Together, my daughter."
Nuan rubbed Manda's head and kissed her daughter's forehead while smiling sideways.
