Chapter 63. The Love Story of Febri

Febri has been living in Gisya's house for two weeks. He accompanied his best friend, because Fahri was away on duty. Of course she was with Yuliana and her twins. After Jafran and Fahri return, he intends to leave Cyra for a few days.

"What's Biw? Is there anything you need?" ask Gisya.

"I'd like to ask you guys a favor, take care of Cyra this week. I want Ana to go back to Magelang" said Febri smiling.

"Loh, doesn't Ana want to live here huh? He wants to help Ina Loh at the store. Why do you suddenly want to go home?" ask the astonished Yuliana.

Febri sighed for a moment, in fact his heart was too heavy to say this.

"I'm going to ask Mas Zaydan to marry Ana" Febri said lowered his head.

"Whataa??!!" the four of them were shocked.

"You mean what the hell Biw is! You're the one who's gonna marry Zaydan, why be Ana? You don't like Zaydan?" yuliana asked with emotion.

"Mas Zaydan never liked me, what he liked was Ana. And vice versa, I can't force people to live with me." said Febri.

Cyra was already one month old, Zaydan continued to accompany Cyra and nurture her. Febri felt he had found the right figure for his daughter. But the feeling was that he had to bury it deeply when he accidentally heard Ana and Zaydan's conversation.

"Are you really going to give up? Aren't you gonna try to tell Febri about how we feel?" ask Zaydan.

Febri immediately contacted his relatives to rename Cyra in his Birth Deed. He did not want to be constantly overshadowed by the given name Zaydan.

This morning Febri had asked Zaydan and Ana to accompany him to Magelang. His goal was to marry his sister-in-law. He told his mother and father-in-law everything. And they could only agree on what Febri wanted.

"Sir, why are we going to Magelang? Why did Mommy bring all of Ana's clothes? Don't you want Ana to accompany Mbak again?" ask Ana.

Febri did not answer him, he just smiled and hugged Ana.

"You will know the answer later" said Febri.

Not long after, Zaydan came with a sizable bag. He gasped in shock when he saw Ana there.

"Where's Cyra? Why wasn't he taken?" ask Zaydan.

"Cyra was with her Father and Mother, and also with Baba and Umminya. Don't worry, I'm not a cruel mother" Febri smiled.

"It's time to go, Come on! Later we miss the plane." said Febri still with a smile on his face. Zaydan and Ana follow Febri's steps.

On the plane, Febri just stared out the window. He was trying to accept all the harsh realities of his life. Arriving at Magelang, Febri was welcomed by the Andi family.

"Same mother how are you?" febri asked while hugging Andi's parents.

"Okay, kid, you're okay, right?" said Mr. Burhan who was worried.

"Febri is fine sir. Is everything prepared, sir? Did Mas Zaydan's parents come?" febri asked, making Zaydan and Ana gasp in shock.

Zaydan began to feel that Febri did not appreciate him. He forced Febri to come out and speak with four eyes.

"Why did you ask both of your parents to come? Why don't you tell me, Mom? You have absolutely no right to do all this!" zaydan.

"Yes, I have no right to you. I'm sorry I asked your family to come here without your consent. Take it easy, I will not force you to do what you do not want" said Febri with a smile.

"Not that, I mean our family meeting and our marriage can be discussed. You should have talked about it first!" Zaydan.

Febri did not answer Zaydan's remarks, he chose to go to Andi's tomb.

"Once again sorry. Excuse me." said Febri still with a smile on his face.

Zaydan was frustrated by Febri's attitude, seeing the smile on Febri's face made him feel even more guilty.

After saying goodbye to Andi's parents, Febri went to Andi's grave. She cried over the grave of her beloved husband.

"Assalamualaikum, Mom. Sorry Dinda just visited Mas back, Dinda miss Mas. It was too much for Dinda to go on her own. Dinda needs Mas Andi in Dinda's life. No one else can replace Mas in Dinda's life."

"Cyra is growing well Mas, she doesn't lack affection. There's Jafran and Bang Fahri who became fathers to Cyra."

After being satisfied to express his heart, Febri decided to go home using the Railway. But before he will stop by in Jogja, the plan is that he will move there with Cyra. Febri is determined to live alone with her daughter.

"Dinda go home first, Mom. Do'a Dinda will keep flowing for you Mas."

Time has shown at 7 p.m., but Zaydan hasn't seen Febri come home yet. He felt very guilty about what he said to Febri. Then Mr. Burhan approached Zaydan and asked him to speak.

"Don't wait, he'll never come back here" said Mr. Burhan.

"I mean Father?" ask Zaydan who is astonished.

"Febri asked me to see your parents, not to marry him. But to marry our daughter, Ana. He already knows that you love each other, and he did all this for you" Mr. Burhan explained.

Zaydan drooped down, he still remembered how Febri's smile had last been to him. His heart felt very painful, he felt very guilty towards Febri. Zaydan decided to look for Febri. He did not want to continue living in guilt towards that poor girl. Zaydan was confused between being sad or happy.

Febri was waiting for his destination train, he kept staring at his ringing phone. Zaydan continued to contact him, but Febri continued to ignore him. Until finally Zaydan managed to find the GPS location of Febri's phone. Arriving at the station, he saw Febri sitting while continuing to stare at his phone. With tears on his cheeks.

Zaydan embraced Febri affectionately. Febri was shocked.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry for all your mistakes. Please don't do this, let's get married and raise Cyra together" Zaydan said.

"I'm sorry, I can't live with people who pity me. Be happy with Ana." said Febri releasing Zaydan's embrace.

"No, I can't marry Ana. Mas realized, Mas's love for you is not for Ana. I've started to fall in love with you." - Zaydan.

"Not love, but empathy. I'm sorry I have to go." said Febri, carrying his bag.

Zaydan held him back, he continued to hug Febri very tightly. Now Febri could no longer hold back the tears on his cheeks.

"Please let go. I have to go, be happy with your love. Just pray that Cyra and I can live happily." isak Febri. Zaydan let go of his embrace.

"Mas would never marry Ana. I will marry you."

Febri could not say anything more, he chose to enter the carriage immediately. While Zaydan was glued to his place, he was deeply sorry for hurting Febri's heart which he thought was precious.
