"The disorder suffered by Mrs Soraya made her son suffer. In the past, when a third party had not yet entered Mr. Edward's household, Mrs Soraya ignored her son on the grounds of being distressed by all the obligations that were present. He wanted to find entertainment to make his heart happy. With a party and drinks with his friend left his son who was sick paralyzed by an accident."
"That's a lie!" shouts Soraya stood up, not accepting.
"Time for you to talk is on your own later," the clerk recalled. Soraya was then whispered by her lawyer and she sat back down with a dead red face and a good chest down irregularly. His eyes stared at Edward. The man only smiled sweetly at her while shaking his head slowly.
Soraya then turned away an annoyed and angry face. Edward and one of his lawyers were sitting, laughing silently. They do that because they know who the person behind the scenes is spreading the untrue news about his new family especially Deya. The peak of his frustration was when the video of the quarrel with Soraya when the woman wanted to take Zahra in an all-out edit by her group, was widely circulated and became a trending topic two days ago.
There Deya looks like a cruel stepmother who forbids the biological mother from meeting her child. Edward wanted to change that image by opening up all the problems in public.
"Zahra their biological daughter was distressed by the circumstances. Mr. Edward enters Deya to revive his spirit. Deya, the third woman referred to as the actor, sorry Your Honor, has revived the spirit of Mr. Edward's daughter so willing to undergo therapy and return to public school."
"That's not true, I've been asking her to go to therapy all this time." Soraya's emotions began to get out of control.
"Peace..Please sit down again in your chair otherwise I'll send you out of the courtroom now" the clerk warned a second time.
"Miss Zahra is what I said true?" ask Edward's lawyer.
"Mother Deya came as a nanny and she became a good friend. He invited me to go to school and said that school was a fun place. I was afraid to go to school because I had a bad experience. Mom I mean Deya's mom accompanied me until I got used to school. She persuaded me to start therapy so I could walk and I agreed. She told Mom that I've been going to therapy, since then she's been taking me to therapy."
"Have your mother ever taken you to therapy before?" ask the lawyer again.
"The objection of His Holiness is different in the context of the conversation. We will discuss with the disease suffered by Mrs Soraya is not about the mass of her family," said Soraya's lawyer.
"This will be related to Your Majesty so, please be allowed to trace the original story to open all events."
"All right, go on."
Soraya's lawyer sat down lethargicly holding his head with his hands.
Soraya's lawyer again asked the same question.
Zahra hesitated to answer looking at Soraya. His lips then trembled and his tears came out. He lowered his head, only his sobs came out and it made an answer. The atmosphere of silence immediately felt what Zahra had been craving all this time.
Edward gestured to his lawyer to end his question, he could not bear to see his son crying in public.
"One more question. Did your birth mother ever abuse you if she did it often and how badly?"
Zahra looked towards Deya. Deya nodded while wiping her tears.
Zahra took in her breath. "My mother loved me so much that I didn't tell her this because I was angry or hate you but I just wanted to stay with Dad." Soraya was crying too.
"Mother likes forgetfulness if anger forgets if I am her child so. so.. pinched me or hit or yesterday locked me in. hik... bathroom because I don't want to go to a prestigious awards show. Mom wanted me to keep track of her but I didn't want to. I want to be myself. I want to be like any other child who has time to play with his friends and family while Mom gives me a lot of activities to stand out in the eyes of many people. I thought it was good for me but it made me sad and depressed" Zahra said as she looked at Soraya with sadness implied in her eyes.
"One more thing, Miss Zahra, are you happy to stay with your extended mother?"
Now it was Edward's turn to dig. He looked at Deya who was also looking at him. Deya herself had resigned herself to the answer that would be given by Zahra. Whether it's good or bad, it's just as important as Zahra being happy.
"Mother, Mother Deya took good care of me, like her own child. He took care of me without anyone else's help. Preparing food with his own hands and taking my school to also accompany me to sleep. With Mom, I feel like a kid again. Sometimes I envy Dafi, I don't know why. We often get Mom's attention. Sounds funny, but maybe it's because Mom always makes me happy to feel pampered."
Everyone stared at Deya. Deya herself felt moved and wiped away her tears. After that, Zahra was allowed to return to her seat. Deya stood welcoming, hugging Zahra and kissing her cheeks.
Edward glazed over when he saw the sight. He had not expected so much trouble to befall his son during these three years and foolishly, he did not know about it. What kind of father is he? A sense of regret and guilt suffocated his chest from being so overwhelmed with grief that he ignored his son and did not see Zahra's suffering. He promised to avenge Zahra's suffering with his attention to always making his son happy.
The good thing about it all is the presence of Deya who is the cure of all the problems in the family. She was grateful that she would come back to light up and color her life with Zahra.
The trial was completed after Dr Franda came and gave his testimony. Making Soraya's side more cornered and embarrassed.
Edward went straight to his family after the judge walked out of the courtroom.
"Are you okay?" edward asked Zahra, rubbing her head, a sign of affection. The boy nodded. At the same time Soraya was seen passing by on the other side, looking towards them. There was no talk but from the look of his eyes described the immense disappointment in Zahra. Zahra just looked down. Deya grabbed Zahra and rubbed her head. The look in his eyes met Soraya and they exchanged glances until the woman came out of the courtroom.
"Will my mother hate me?" ask Zahra to Deya.
"A mother can never hate her child because a child is her flesh and blood, her heart is always there for you. Now maybe your mother is a little disappointed but believe me, she will come back to love you like before even more."
