Deya lay on the bed, focusing on the man standing using only the boxer and looming across the room. The man turned his back with both hands over his head staring out the large glass window.
Rain and lightning fell between the glass so that the light sometimes entered their large, dark rooms. He was daydreaming even though standing in front of a glass window with a lot of lightning striking is not the right choice.
He may be thinking about his marriage. Deya had heard some of Edward's conversations with his parents. Although he does not know what the problem is, Deya knows enough that Edward's marriage is actually in trouble.
Seeing Edward being disoriented made Deya feel sympathy. "Mas." Deya knows that Edward needs her right now and Deya needs her too.
According to the news circulating **** capable of releasing oxytocin or 'love hormone'. The release of this hormone is related to feeling close and intimate, feeling better. Perhaps this is also the reason why Deya began to think more about Edward after sharing a passionate time with him. He began to care about his partner's feelings.
Deya is afraid that this will make her fall in love and she will be thrown away after Edward gets bored or after their relationship is known by everyone. It would definitely hurt for him. After all their togetherness.
Edward turned around to look at her. His sharp jaw was covered in dark shadows, his cheekbones and high eyebrows showed a great relief. Edward wanted to reject it as it was seen in his tight jaw and thinning lips.
Deya did not believe it at all. There was too much pain, too much conflict in Edward's eyes that suddenly broke his heart. He patted the bed next to her. "Come back here.''
To where he could hug her, sharing her warmth and the sternness that was stomping her body. To take her in a world she doesn't understand, a pleasure she's only known in a few days. Perhaps if she tried to love him, Edward would find peace in her arms.
"Please," felt relief as Edward again crossed the room and lay down beside him.
"Your feet are cold" Deya said, re-attaching her innocent body into Edward's arms. She covered him with the blanket he used.
He would not know how soft his body was if it did not come into contact with a body as hard as steel Edward had. She was confused as to what to say to ease the tension on her husband's face.
"You should sleep" said Edward grimly.
Edward is quiet and Deya begins to feel comfortable about it but this time the man's silence bothers him.
"You can tell me what's bothering you."
Edward looked at the ceiling. Deya stared at the alluring face and stunned her when she first saw it. Strong pointed nose, clean jaw and deep and mysterious eyes.
He is starting to like to look at her. The man's calmness and self-confidence create a sense of security and peace when with him.
Deya mendes**heavily and touched Edward's chest. "Share it to me so that the weight on your chest is slightly lifted."
Edward remained silent for a moment. "It's not an easy thing for me to go through and I feel like I'm a failure."
"What didn't work?" deya asked curiously.
The muscles in Edward's jaw began to tighten. "It's between me, you and Soraya and Zahra."
"What do you mean?"
"I love you even though we just know each other but I have a family of my own. I can't offer any more commitment because it will definitely hurt you even more deeply. I also can't leave my family just because you're by my side." He avoided Deya's eyes.
"No!" reject Edward loudly but doubtfully. "Jeez Deya now only you can make me look at the world beautifully."
"Then what do you mean you can't make a commitment like this? I'm not asking for commitment from you?"
"Maybe not now but tomorrow, you must demand to live this relationship with the status of a legal wife officially." Deya realized that what Edward said had a point as well. One day he may be tired of just being a mistress and want to formalize their relationship.
His parents will also ask the certainty of their relationship and will he never have children with this man? It's all too complicated. Something he thought was easy would complicate his problem.
"Do you think this relationship is wrong?" asked Deya expectantly.
"I was just trying to get back at everything my wife did by being in a relationship without any commitment to you. But I am afraid of my own feelings. You're too sweet to hurt but I hurt you. I ruined your future. It's not something that can be forgiven so easily."
Deya was hard to think with the blood rushing in her mind. "I never asked for a commitment with you." There was despair in his voice. His heart began to feel torn.
Is Edward going to throw it away now?
"But that's what you'll want later." Edward swept his hands to his face, looking miserable. "It wouldn't have happened if you had stayed with me. Forever you'll only be second, hidden. I'm not fit for a long-term relationship. I thought I could do it and I wanted to see that I never could."
Edward suddenly got out of bed and grabbed his clothes from the closet.
"Look we shouldn't have met. I'm sorry!" said Edward. Edward pulled his pants to his waist and put on his shirt. While Deya was just glued to himself on the bed.
Edward grabbed the suit and stepped to the door.
"Wait!" Deya grabbed the blanket to cover her innocent body.
"You can't do this after everything we've done!"
"We can talk about this again" Deya said.
"There's nothing to talk about."
"You're so perfect for me to have that I'd find it hard to let you go if we continued together."
The cloth covering Deya's body hit a sharp object on the bed making her fall. He stood up and chased Edward. It was like a nightmare for him.
"I'm going to give you all this and transfer some money into the card you're using" Edward said in the shoes on the main doorstep.
The blind anger roiled and made Deya explode like a bullet coming out of a firearm.
"If you want to dump me so quickly why should you bother marrying me. You can find another woman you can have in an hour! No need to give more attention and comfort then...." Deya could not say her chest already felt crowded.
"You're right, I just stopped by to get some luck for getting something that you take care of with all your heart. You don't lose because you get the money you want even more than what you have in mind." Edward doesn't have the heart to say it but he has to do it so Deya doesn't chase after him anymore. If until they get together again, he's sure he'll never be able to let Deya go forever.
