Wife President's Deposits
Chapters. 72 Disappointed

The cold morning air made Deya sink deeper into Edward's chest. Last night the man could not sleep just silently staring blankly ahead. It seemed like what Soraya was doing was shaking her heart and soul deeply, but she was trying to be tough.

If Soraya had not done that, she would have been the luckiest being to have a husband who loved her sincerely and a sweet child like Zahra. However, no life is perfect all full of twists and turns.

"De, wake up at dawn" called Edward who was wearing a cocoa shirt.

"Mas already praying?"

"Yet, I woke you up last night, but you closed your eyes again."

"Isn't he?" Lazily Deya got up but her hands pulled Edward hugged and kissed her.

"Thank you. I don't know if you can get up or not if you're not with me."

"Surely, it could be because Mas is a strong man and there is a God who will always be in the hearts of those who remember him." Deya then went to the bathroom.

Edward himself chose to lie down while looking at his phone. Staring at the photo of Deya he stole last night while the woman was asleep.

If all these problems did not happen then he probably would not have known Deya. He felt God was kind enough to bring Deya along just when she was tired and weak. The woman is like a lamp lighting up her day. His smile brightened the world and his laughter was the rhythm of his soul making the spirit flames within rise again.

Deya started to do salutations after prayers. Fold the face and put it in the drawer.

"What's wrong?" deya asked because Edward did not take his eyes off her. Edward closed his eyes. Deya herself went downstairs to prepare breakfast for them.

An hour later he had finished all the kitchen work. Watching the clock on the wall. Why hasn't her husband come down yet? Deya went back to the upper room. She opened the door and found her husband sleeping on the bed. Her husband did not sleep last night because when he closed his eyes her husband was still staring at the television screen and when he woke up her husband was neat with his prayer clothes.

Deya put away the hair that covered her forehead and kissed her slowly while inhaling her husband's distinctive scent and always kept her calm.

After that, he took an abandoned college assignment, began to make a thesis.

Edward was awakened by glare by the radiance of sunlight that illuminated their room. Feels warm. He rubbed his eyes and looked around.

"What time is this?" Edward leaned back on the bed.

"Ten less," Deya replied without taking her eyes off the laptop screen.

"Why don't you wake me up?" Deya turned her body to look at her husband.

"You look good, I don't have the heart." Deya closed the laptop and tidied the paper on the sofa table.

"I'll make you some new coffee. Your coffee was cold."

"Are you going to work or not?" ask Deya.

"Actually lazy there is only an important meeting with the ranks of the company's officials and with the shareholders."

"Yes Katrine told me." Edward raised an eyebrow looking at her. "I called her to tell her that you're most likely going to be late for work."

"You should have woken me up" Edward grumbled up to the bathroom.

"You should've slept just now at work."

"You're the boss now."

"I'm the boss of this house and you have to obey me. It's for your good and your health."

"Well, women always win and men have to give up."

"I haven't gotten my ration last night Deya, now give it." Chase Edward.

"You have to go to the office." Deya's body was captured easily by Edward. Their eyes locked onto each other.

"Not before you...." Edward's lips first cross to Deya's lips asking for more welcome and not just that.

Edward was surprised to see many reporters in front of his office. Satria and several security guards approached the door, blocking the reporters from getting closer to Edward.

"What's this?" ask Edward.

"Didn't you open a message from me sir?" Edward shakes. He got out of the car, passed the reporters who started asking him.

"Master is there really a rumor going around if you're going to divorce your wife, Soraya?" ask a reporter. Edward looked confusedly at Satria.

"Get aside give way" Satria ordered the reporters to give way to his master.

"Is this because there's a third party?"

"Who is the woman in black with you in a restaurant? Is that the third party in question?"

Various questions were launched to make Edward take a deep breath. Was this a coincidence or had Soraya planned it? The bad thoughts flashed within Edward.

She got into the elevator leaving the reporters who kept looking for her with all the questions about her divorce from Soraya.

"Video, what do they mean?" ask Edward. Satria immediately showed a video in his phone where Edward was walking with a woman and hugging her waist.

"Br**sek, who spread this news?" aspersons Edward.

"No idea, Sir. We're figuring it out. This news was last night. Check my message, sir."

"Here you go, take care of this news so it doesn't spread anywhere."

The elevator door opened. In front of him was already Katrine waiting with a tense face.

"Sir Adam and Mrs Claudia are already in your room right now, sir."

Edward breathed a rough breath. He then walked into his room. He had seen the company officials who were staring at him and Mario who saw him with an evil smile.

'Wait for my revenge later," muttered Edward softly staring at the friend who is now a real enemy to him.

Edward went to his office. There his father was sitting on the sofa while his mother was standing in front of Mr. Adam looking at Edward. Their faces were angry and disappointed.

"Ck.. that woman even made your work ethic change, you're a lazy man now!" said Adam. Edward hugged the mother and kissed her cheek. Then alternated with her Papa.

"Sorry Papa." Edward would not hide anything from his parents let all the problems be light.

"Oh, so is it true outside news if you already have a deposit to file a divorce papers with my son-in-law?" ask Claudia.

Edward sat on the sofa loosening a tie that felt suffocating to the neck. The two most respected people stared at him, waiting for an answer from Edward.

"Really true, Pa? Mom's instinct is right, it feels awkward to bring an apprentice to work at home. Very unreasonable. But I try to believe in my own son. This time you let me down, son."
