Wife President's Deposits
Chapters. 49 Jealousy

"Ask Mr. Edward himself why he took me to his house. I myself do not know the reason for just following everything he commanded. I'm just a student who can't go against the orders of the company's superiors."

Soraya stared in disbelief at Deya's statement. "Are you trying to lie to me?"

"For what? How much I lied to you. I myself asked in my heart why I was at his home job. If it makes you uncomfortable eating you can tell Mr. Edward and I can go back to the company."

Soraya let out a long breath. Looking far ahead.

"My relationship with my husband is not okay. I'm trying to change it for Zahra. I made a lot of mistakes and I tried to fix them. But Edward didn't seem to give me a chance at it."

"Just be patient, ma'am, maybe you need some time to think and calm down."

Soraya lowered her head and nodded. For a moment they were silent.

"Zahra needs your attention more than you, sir." Soraya turned her head, looking towards Zahra.

"The problem of the quarrel?"

"Not only that. The child needs your support to rise from his downturn. He said he wanted to recover and walk again but was afraid to start. You as parents can encourage and support so that he has the determination to walk normally again."

"really?" ask Soraya. Deya nodded.

"I took her to school so she could hang out with her peers. The world becomes more colorful because it has friends and other spaces. Why ordinary school? Because in ordinary school Zahra will be well received because he is from the upper class. His experience in school made him afraid to go there. She's traumatized by the bully that the kids at her favorite school did."

Soraya listened carefully.

"If he's at home, he'll just be glued to the problems of home. His world was narrow only around his parents and the home workers."

"I was very angry with you for bringing Zahra to this school, but after hearing your explanation. I realize that my thoughts about you are wrong. I don't know why Edward brought you home, but I can see a change in Zahra that makes me happy."

Deya smiled awkwardly looking the other way then filled her lungs with air because she had felt tight from earlier.

Soraya looked towards her watch. "I have an appointment with my manager. So I'll take you back to school. Later in the day I'll pick you up again and we'll go to the hospital to check on Zahra's condition and consult on what's the right course of action for Zahra to recover."

Deya nodded steadily, she was glad Soraya could understand her words. He hopes with this Zahra's life in the future will be better later.

But if that happens and Edward's household improves again, what will be his destiny going forward?

"You go to the hospital."

"Hospital?"

"Say you want to be able to walk again and want to go to therapy."

Zahra looked towards Deya. The woman nodded her head.

"Mom will accompany you until you can walk again, but if you don't want to I won't force."

"I want to, I want to be able to walk and run again like my friend."

"really? I'm so happy to hear it," cried Soraya. Deya smiled but somehow her heart was sad. He was afraid of being eliminated in the end.

Two hours later after registering and waiting in line, they finally saw the doctor who had been treating Zahra.

"Are you really going to therapy?" ask the doctor again. It's been a few years since Zahra's accident, the boy has never been in therapy. It was just the beginning and he gave up because he felt a lot of pain.

"Yes Dok, said Kak Deya something sometimes picked up with pain first and then found victory. It is pain that will teach us to be grateful for the blessings God gives."

"Well, your brother is smart." The doctor looked towards Deya. He knows who he is because his father used to be often in therapy at this hospital.

"He's not my brother" Zahra said.

"Then you?" doctor Anwar asked her to fold her hands on her chest.

"He's...." Zahra looked towards Deya.

"He's my friend" he continued. Deya smile.

"Not just a friend, um a friend," he added staring back at Deya with a sparkling face.

"I'm just his mentor, Doctor."

Soraya smiled but in her heart held a sense of jealousy. Why would Deya who had just been met by Zahra be able to get along with her immediately? Whether the pellet that woman owned so that it could make her son look more towards the girl than her mother.

Peer will increase more and more. He looked at Zahra who was more happy to hold Deya's hand than he was.
