Mikayla Pov's

Roland took me to the rooftop. At first I thought he would take me somewhere else. I didn't think he was bringing me here. I'm grateful that he brought me here because I needed peace.

"So what's bothering you wife's mind" Roland asked opening the conversation.

"And what's with your messy appearance" Roland looked at me from top to bottom as if researching.

"Me and Noura had a fight in the bathroom of the coffee shop opposite the office. He grabbed me and I slapped him" I answered honestly

Roland laughed loudly.

"Gosh, I can't believe a calm girl like you can fight. And why women always choose the bathroom for where they fight" he said in between his laughter.

I'm aiming at the shoulder.

"He who dragged me there, I also asked him the same thing but he ignored me"

Roland's getting worse.

"Do you always come here if you're upset?" I just ignored Roland who was laughing.

"Yes, me, Felix and even Raymond are also here often, you just see the scenery from here is very beautiful and of course here is far from noisy words" Roland stopped his laughter.

I'm nodding. It is true what he said the view from up here is very beautiful and soothing.

"Have you been friends with Felix and Raymond for a long time"

"Yes, I can say long enough. Me, Raymond, Felix and Noura one university in London and one major."

"That means you know Felix's girlfriend, Ashley?" my many. Roland was surprised by my question. I probably didn't think I knew about Ashley.

"You know about Ashley?" tanyanya seriously.

I'm nodding.

"Mommy Kelly told me" I said honestly.

Roland nodded.

"Aunty Kelly might like you considering she's telling you something sensitive about her family"

"I am indeed a person who is easily liked" I said lightly praising myself. Roland laughed as he rattled my hair in an anxious state.

"Tell me what really happened between Felix and Ashley"

Roland narrowed his eyes hearing my words.

"Come on, I'm sure you know something. Noura didn't frame him"

Roland flinched and looked at me intensely.

"How did you know?"

"Noura said it"

"Why did he tell you his rottenness?"

"To threaten me"

Roland frowned then looked at me seriously.

"Don't look for trouble with Noura. She is a dangerous woman" Roland said in a low but firm tone.

"Then from that brother, tell me what really happened"

Roland chuckled.

"You even call me brother. Very sweet call" Roland teased me or mocked I don't know.

I kept quiet and just stared at her intensely a sign I didn't want to joke.

"Why do you want to know, do you like Felix" Roland asked with a serious look. There was no mischievous flickering or teasing smile on his face.

"No" I replied quickly and firmly

"I'm sorry, then I can't say it" he said with a sorry look.

"What if I give you an offer" I tried to persuade Roland.

Roland chuckled amusedly.

"Oh this little girl wants to negotiate, so tell me what you can offer to persuade me."

Roland thrust out the canned drink he bought earlier before we went upstairs.

Drink up, you'll probably be thirsty if you want to hear a story about Felix."

"I'm going to tell you something and in return you should also tell me about Ashley" I picked up the drink Roland gave me.

"Depending, if your story is not interesting I do not promise to tell it" he said casually.

I'm nodding.

"Alright, let's hear as interesting as what story you have to offer"

I didn't know Roland was teasing me or insinuating because I couldn't read the look on his face.

"I suggest you don't drink before you hear my story if you don't want to choke" I warned Roland.

Roland chuckled then nodded.

I took a deep breath then looked at Roland right at his manic

"I'm Raymond's lover" I said with a single breath.

Roland fell silent and looked at me unblinking then a moment later he laughed out loud while holding his stomach.

I snorted and folded my hands on my chest. I just kept quiet and looked at him who was still laughing. Roland stopped his laughter.

"If you're Raymond's lover then I'm Selena Gomez's husband" Roland sipped a drink.

I glanced annoyed at her crisp joke and not funny at all.

"I'm his fiancee, Ayrin Mikayla Anderson"

Roland choked and spouted a drink that was in his mouth.

"I told you not to drink before you heard my story" I gave a tissue to him to clean his face and mouth.

"Aren't you joking?" tanyakanya.

"Does my face look like it's joking?" I asked back.

Roland looked at me, I looked at him too. We were silent for a moment in each of our minds.

"Everything seems very clear. It's worth Raymond being gentle and impressed to protect it turns out you're his fiancee. Well I still can't believe the fiancee he's always been proud of turned out to be you"

Roland paused his words then took a breath before continuing

"Did Noura threaten you because she knew you were Raymond's fiancee" she asked with a worried look

I'm nodding.

"From the beginning he knew I was Raymond's fiancee. The day she asked Raymond to be her lover I heard and saw her"

The Flash Back On

"What we have to do Ay, this task must be collected tomorrow but your computer is acting" said Keyra annoyed.

"Key's news is I'm calling Raymond who knows he can fix it" I said.

"Hows it? ask Keyra.

"Not taken" I replied.

"It's unusual for Brother Raymond to ignore my call" I said

Keyra moved out of place and pulled my hand.

"We go to his house and finish this job there"

I did not argue and followed Keyra. As soon as I got home I asked Brother Raymond to one of the maids in the house who of course already knew me as the fiancee of Raymond's brother.

"Bi, is Raymond's brother here?"

He looks nervous but I don't care. Without waiting for her answer I pulled Keyra up the stairs to her room.

"So my lover"

I stopped my steps as soon as I heard a woman's voice from inside Raymond's room.

Keyra looked at me confused as if asking 'what's wrong?''

"Yes I know, your fiancee is also very sweet" Noura took the photo that was on the table. My photo with Raymond.

"I'm sure you haven't touched it"

"She's not a cheap woman, she's a good girl" brother Raymond looked at Noura sharply

Noura chuckles

"Come Ray, you don't have to be a hypocrite. I know you're not a jerk like Roland but you need him too" Noura sat on Raymond's lap stroking his face in a seductive manner.

"Stop Noura.."

"Didn't you love Felix?"

"He never looked at me even after she left"

"I'm tired of hoping for him"

"So you're making me an escape?"

"I really like you"

"Are you crazy..."

Raymond's speech came to a halt when Noura forcefully kissed him. Raymond did not refuse nor did he return his kiss. Noura let go of her kiss probably because she didn't get a response from Raymond's sister. My heart is heating up. I wanted to scream and run there. But I couldn't because my mouth was locked tightly and my legs were like someone was holding them in place.

"Be my lover, I will satisfy you and I will make sure I will not hurt your fiancee" Noura kissed Raymond's breastplate lustfully. Brother Raymond pulled Noura over and kissed her passionately.

It hurts and breaks that's how I feel.

"********, asshole" Keyra walked over to the door. I held him down and shook my head. I pulled him out of that place.

"What are you doing, why are you stopping me" asked Keyra as soon as we were in my room.

"What can I do Key, when what the woman says is true, I can't give what the woman has to offer"

"Don't be a fool, Raymond loves you for who you are. He didn't force you to do it." Keyra calmed me down.

"But Raymond did need Key, Raymond didn't even turn him down"

"Raymond's a normal guy, it's natural that he's excited when the *****that's teasing him" Keyra said.

"But believe me she only loves you" Keyra calmed me down again.

"But what if Raymond's brother leaves me and accepts the woman to be his lover" my voice trembled. I wept. Suddenly the fear approached me. Yeah, I'm afraid of losing her.

"Don't be silly, you obviously know how much Raymond loves you" Keyra hugged me.

Tok.Toks.

Keyra and I turned to the door.

"Ay, are you inside?" brother Raymond's Voice

My body stiffens. I'm not ready to meet him.

The sound of the door opening. I saw Raymod's brother standing there wearing a different outfit to the one he was wearing.

Brother Raymond walked slowly towards me and Keyra.

"You're crying" she asked, catching my face with both hands. I took Raymond's arm off my face.

'That hand just touched another woman, I'm not sure her hand is clean from that woman's former body'

"Someone wants you to talk about. Important" he said while glancing at Keyra.

Keyra nodded in understanding.

"I'm down first" she said.

Brother Raymond sat beside me holding my hand and looking at me in the shade.

"You will definitely get angry after hearing this, but you still have to say it"

'Oh my God I'm not ready to hear he broke off our engagement'

Raymond took a deep breath before speaking.

"Before we were betrothed and even engaged, brother already had a lover" he said.

'LIED' I shouted in my heart.

I stared at him flatly with no look of surprise at all. I saw Raymond confused at my usual reaction.

"Sister hasn't ended her relationship with him. Forgive the brother who covered it up all this time. But believe me, brother only loves you. Brother ask not to leave brother. Brother will end his relationship with him but brother please be patient waiting because you need the right time for everything so that he does not feel discusi. And you don't want him to hurt you either" Raymond said at length.

I breathed my breath hearing Raymond's lie. His sense of tight knowing the people we love can lie to us. It hurts, of course.But deep in my heart I don't want to lose it either.

"Well, I will be patient and wait but surely it will be hearted brother there is only me" I said.

Brother Raymond laughed sumringah. He immediately pulled me into his arms.

"Thank you baby, brother loves you. Big brother promised to end it once the time is right" he said while peeping the top of my head and tightening his embrace.

The Flash Back Off

I ended my story and turned towards Roland who had been quietly listening to me. I saw him gaping with wide eyes. I chuckled at the look on his face.

"You're still a virgin"

I gawked at the response that first came out of his mouth.

"I told him long times wide and high and you just asked. Are you still sane!!" I glanced in annoyance and then snorted.

She laughed

"I just can't believe there's still a woman like you in this age, but trust me I'm proud of you" she said sincerely.

"Now tell me about Ashley, I'm sure you understand why I want to know about her"

Roland nodded

"What do you want to know?"

"Everything" I answered briefly.

"Ashley is a very kind, gentle and sweet woman. Ashley, Marinka and Noura are best friends. Noura likes Felix very much and tells Marinka to help her express her feelings and Marinka agrees. And they also made plans. Not yet had the plan they way Felix came to bring Ashley to his house and introduce him as a prospective daughter-in-law of the house. Marinka and Noura were shocked. Marinka doesn't know what to do because Ashley is also her best friend. Noura unexpectedly hugged Ashley and congratulated her. Of course Marinka is glad Noura took it.But no one knows it turns out he was planning something rotten behind him." Roland stopped his story and gulped down his drink.

"Short story he used Sean a poor guy who liked him. Noura asks Sean to approach Marinka and make her his lover. Plan succeeded. Marinka loves Sean. Until one day Noura asked Felix and Marinka to come to a hotel, and there was the beginning of the fateful accident. Ashley and Sean had sex witnessed by Felix and Marinka."

I'm suffocating. I closed my mouth with both hands I heard Roland's story.

What else is terrible about it, seeing your lover make love to your sister's lover.

"How could Ashley do it. Does he not love Felix? " i can't hide my surprise.

"Of course you can. Noura gave Ashley a stimulant."

"Oh my God" I cried as soon as I heard Roland's words.

"Then what happened to Ashley and that guy named Sean?" ask me without hiding my curiosity.

"Ashley tried to explain what happened but Felix paid no heed to it. You know he hates all forms of treason."

"What about Sean?"

Roland looked at me inside

"He finished him off the same day Marinka was buried. Sean repeatedly apologized. But Felix didn't heed it. You know what he said, 'I'm sorry for my sister. Meet him in the burrow' and then the door he's finishing him."

My body stiffens. I really don't believe what I'm hearing. Felix took someone's life.

"Then Ashley?" My voice vibrates.

"Raymond and I helped him escape before Felix found him. Felix at that time would not listen to anyone. He's like a possessed madman so he can't see the truth"

"I and Raymond overheard Noura and Ashley talking. How Noura threatened her and frightened her. That's where Raymond and I found out what really happened"

"You and Raymond didn't tell him and hide the truth" I asked in disbelief.

"At first Ray and I tried to tell her but every time we mentioned Ashley's name she was rampaging and uncontrollable. Surprisingly only Noura could calm him down. I don't know what magic that woman did. I don't know what he'd do if he knew Noura was behind it"

"What are you saying right?"

Roland and I looked at the sound. My body stiffened as soon as I saw Felix standing with a very creepy face. I turned to look at Roland. His face was pale and only looked at Felix flat but full of meaning.
