"Before we go back to the office we eat first" Felix said. I just snuggle.

"How long will your mommy be gone?" ask Felix again.

"Pretty long, six months maybe. As soon as I graduate mommy and daddy will be home."

"You can visit mommy if you miss your mommy. Believe me mommy will be happy and you know mommy misses you so much" Felix said without taking his eyes off the front.

"Well this weekend I'll visit him" I promised.

"Right" asked Felix passionately.

"Yes" I answered briefly, nodding my head.

"You're not dating Ray?"

"Oh, this weekend brother Ray went out of town to monitor one of his projects" I replied.

Felix nodded his head.

"You weren't invited with him."

"Of course he asked me, but I refused."

"Why?"

"He will not bear to silence me for a long time which ends his work will not be finished just because of taking care of me" I explained.

"That's how I went with him to monitor his project with his co-workers. It was very boring and I decided to go for a walk while Ray talked about business with his partner. But you know what happens, once every five minutes Ray calls me just to ask if I'm thirsty and hungry. Did I disturb someone and other strange questions. He left his partner just to make sure I was okay, though, and you know what happens next, his business associates cut their contracts because they think Raymond's brother is unprofessional and Uncle Josh scolds Raymond's brother for causing massive losses to the company."

Felix laughed when he heard my story.

"I didn't expect Ray to have such a side. He must love you so much"

"I love him a lot too."

"Do you love him" asked Felix, staring at me at a glance.

"I don't want to lose it" I replied.

"What I'm asking is that you love Mika?" felix was full of pressure.

"I don't know what's going on with everyone, you, Roland, Keyra even Nayla are asking the same thing. She's my fiancee and I love her very much. I don't want to lose it."

"What does it mean that you still doubt your feelings."

I glared at Felix as soon as I heard his words.

"I just don't know where the difference is in loving and loving" I answered honestly.

"Meaning I still have a chance to win your heart" Felix stopped his car in front of one of the Japanese restaurants.

Felix and I walked into the restaurant and Felix booked us a private room.

Oh my God, what is this. I felt dozens of butterflies flying from my stomach. Brother Raymond used to say it but why would it feel so different if Felix said it. Mikayla control yourself.

I raised both of my eyebrows hearing this sudden statement from the man before me. As much as possible I hide my nervousness. Not to mention my heart beating irregularly.

"I'm your best friend's fiancee" I said as calmly as I could.

"He'll beat you up if he hears you declare love to his fiancee."

"I know, I didn't say it to burden you or take you from Ray. I just want you to know."

"Alright then I appreciate the feeling of mutual apology Felix I can't possibly repay him, I'm the type of loyal woman" I said staring fixedly at his face that looks disappointed.

"can we continue this lunch quietly without any awkwardness between us" I continued.

Felix chuckled at my words.

"Well, you're a hard woman to guess. I thought you'd be hysterical the moment you heard my statement. But it turns out you're just a jerk even you're asking me not to be awkward."

I just smiled because my heart was still beating in there and the butterflies were still tickling me.

I choked. This time not only dozens of butterflies flying but there are hundreds or even thousands of butterflies in there.

"I'm asking you that we eat with Felix in peace, you've paid a lot for this food so let me enjoy it. And don't surprise me with your sweet words" I said half annoyed.

Felix laughed and heard me say it. Suddenly he pulled me into his arms.

"Thank you for being in my life" Felix peeked at the top of my head.

The normal reaction I should have had was to encourage her considering that I already had a fiance, my mind said so but my body's response was opposite to what I thought. With sweetness, my naughty hands reciprocate the embrace of this perverted man.

Our final lunch was spent just with us hugging.

"Will Ray let you go with me to visit my mother" Felix asked as soon as we reached the office parking lot.

"Of course."

"He doesn't forbid you to go with another man" he asked again.

"You're his best friend" I said lightly.

"But I'm also a man, even I like you" Felix replied no less lightly.

I sniffed annoyed

"Well then, we'll cancel your visit to your mother's house."

"Oh come on, don't be like that. You can't take the promise you made" Felix protested.

I just shrugged my shoulders indifferently.

My phone rang and I immediately picked it up after seeing Raymond's name on the screen.

"Hallo brother."

"Where are you, baby?" ask Raymond across the street.

"In the parking lot of my office"

"Is Felix with you, brother call his cell phone inactive."

"Yes, he's with me"

"Tell him, brother and Roland are in his room."

"Is there a problem"

"No dear, big brother, Roland and Felix there is business cooperation and we need to talk about it."

"Oh.all right we'll be there soon."

"You just go home, Keyra has come to pick you up and Nayla, sister will catch up with you."

"But office hours are still three hours away, brother."

"You don't know it. Or Raymond's brother is lying to me."

"Oh.no.no.no. Ray and I have a partnership. What else did he say?" ask Felix.

"He told me to go home" I replied.

"Then I will send Nayla home with you" he said.

"No need, Keyra and Nayla are waiting for me in the cafeteria" I replied.

"Good then, I'll take you to the cafeteria" he said, pulling my hand.
