You Saw Me?!

You Saw Me?!
Mission failed!

Eps. 23

“Gosh! Clara?! that's what you did when we first met, you did it all for me. Because I was always next to Rey, she got misunderstood.” Lisya explained.

Clara frowned, trying to digest and recall what Lisya had just said. Not caring for the man in front of him, he thought for a moment.

Clara recalled the events in the cafeteria when she was forced to avenge Lisya's wishes, and several times there was a 'possibly' misunderstanding when there was drama with Lisya.

Clara doesn't even realize that Reyhan has always been by Lisya's side. Or vice versa, Lisya who was never far from Reyhan.

Clara is upset. "Well.. shit! You misunderstood!” hiss Clara.

“Mistake? You were also standing in front of my class during that glass shard incident, right? If you don't keep standing there, maybe you won't get hit by that splinter.”

“A-I don't-”

“You went back to my class when your wounds were treated, and now you keep following me wherever I go!”

Clara was about to refute Reyhan's words, but she went back to silence. Clara had already lost her words while going to avenge Reyhan because part of it was true but her motives were wrong.

Lisya just fell silent, covering her face with both hands. Not helping at all.

Clara nodded heavily. “Are you done getting angry?"

“Say, what's your purpose. After that, don't bother me anymore. You really disturbed my view!” cynical Reyhan.

Clara swore in her heart, if only she had not promised Lisya, perhaps Clara had now sworn over the man who stood proudly before Clara.

“Listen. First, I don't like you."

You're handsome but you don't always make people like you.

"And I'm not stalking you.”

Reyhan fell silent, seemingly unconcerned by whatever Clara said. He was still staring at Clara sharply.

“The second one, I just want to convey a message from someone... for you,” said Clara slightly hesitated at the end of the sentence.

“Why should you? Why didn't he deliver it directly to me?” hiss Reyhan.

“Because he can't. She needs me to get her sentence across to you,” explains Clara.

Oh my God, why does Reyhan still hate her after Clara explained the misunderstanding!

Clara gave a heavy sigh seeing Reyhan again smiling down on her.

“Requires you? Who do you think you are?” balas Reyhan laughed blandly.

“I can't believe,” added Reyhan flat.

Clara snorted angrily, then turned her gaze a glance before finally venturing to Reyhan.

It turns out he was also a stubborn man. Clara felt herself talking to the stone.

“As much as you want to believe or not. At least, give me five minutes to deliver the message,” bargained Clara.

“I don't want to waste my time.”

“You will regret if you don't listen to it!” furious Clara, now he stared at Reyhan sharply.

Clara was fed up with the pacemaker drama that made her uncomfortable. He wanted to end the drama immediately.

Reyhan was still unmoved, looking at Clara with his inattentive gaze.

“Alright, five minutes. If you waste my time in vain. You will regret it!” threaten Reyhan's.

Clara swallowed her hard spit. This time Clara could not retreat any longer, she took a deep breath and exhaled slowly to calm her nervousness. At least it'll all be over soon.

Lisya stood next to Clara, trying to calm down in her unrest, and preparing to convey her feelings to Reyhan.

“This message is from a woman. I met her some time ago,” Clara said then glanced at Lisya at a glance before finally continuing her sentence. “He told me a lot about you, and he asked me to-”

“Do not convolve! Who's that woman?” reyhan asked impatiently.

“Dia... not human. He... is a ghost...”.

“She is-”

“Enough!” cut Reyhan suddenly, making Lisya and Clara turn their head quickly to look at Reyhan's face which again looked cold.

“Forget about that message. Let's just say we never met and don't bother me again!” the Reyhan Final then turned around leaving Clara.

Reyhan's words left Lisya glued to the spot, whereas Clara still hadn't found her sentence.

Clara could only see Reyhan's departure, her sentence was already on the lips but reluctant to come out. Clara was confused, her brain stopped working.

However, looking at Lisya who looked struck, Clara turned her head back to Reyhan.

“Reyhan!” call Clara out loud as she returns to find her words.

This blondie-haired man stopped his steps and turned around. “One more... The ghost never existed, so don't make it up!” said Reyhan sharp and so cold, after which he passed away.

“R-Reyhan! Waitaminute! Oi! I'm not done talking! Reyhan!” clara shouted trying to stop Reyhan once more, but Reyhan continued to walk faster not stopping his steps.

“Are you afraid of ghosts?!” annoyed Clara kicked the air and ruffled her hair in frustration.

After Reyhan's departure, Clara regressed her body, leaning her body against the wall.

“Aarrg! Why is he so stubborn?!” clara's anger was frustrating.

“Clara...,” shrieked Lisya anxious.

Clara lifted her head. “Lisya.. sorry, i-”.

Lisya shook her head briefly and smiled weakly. “It's okay, it's not your fault.”

Clara was not thinking. How it is possible to just deliver a message can make things this complicated.

.

.

Clara walked past the students who passed by in the canteen. He picked up a bottle of plain mineral water then immediately looked for a table after he paid for it. The canteen is a little quiet, because soon the bell will ring.

Clara opened the bottle cap and took a quick sip after she sat down at one of the empty tables in the cafeteria. Clara put her water bottle on the table after gulping it in half.

“Sorry..,” regrets Clara.

“No problem Clara... You've done your best,” said Lisya trying to comfort Clara.

Clara put her head on the hand she folded on the table, then muttered softly, “Sorry I failed to tell Reyhan. I don't know if Reyhan is so unhappy if I'm talking about ghosts.”

Lisya slightly lowered her head to look at the spirit-broken Clara. “Maybe after this, I have something to tell you. I don't expect you to stop helping me. But if this is too burdensome for you, you can stop if you want,” shrewdly Lisya looks desperate.

Clara did not respond. He raised his head to look at Lisya who looked desperate. “Hmm... return to school later in the school park.”

Clara stood up and took the rest of her mineral water on the table. “A minute the bell comes in, I have to go back to class. You come back, look at Reyhan in his class. We'll meet after school.”

Meeting Reyhan briefly made Clara's entire body muscles tighten. Clara stretched her body, then walked back to her class after Lisya said goodbye. Lisya chooses to return to see Reyhan's condition after a heated debate with Clara.

The look on Reyhan's face changed after Clara mentioned the ghost. He was sure, there was something behind it, considering himself there was also trauma to the creature.

After school Clara and Lisya meet again at the promised place. School park.

“Is there no other place besides this park?” lisya asked looking at Clara who was sipping tea in the packaging in her hand. Lisya was sitting next to Clara.

“Why?” ask Clara.

“Hm... Probably just to change the atmosphere. I'm bored at school.”

“Actually I want to discuss at home. But it seems like today it can't, so this place is better than any other place. I can freely talk to you. Did he stay with Reyhan, he didn't take you for a walk?”

“How bi-”

“M-I mean.. Did you never go with him while he was out for a walk?” clara asked him to correct his sentence.

“Don't I say, since my departure Reyhan has always been quiet at home?”

Clara nodded in understanding and went back to sipping her drink.
