Chapters 109. The Missing Message

"Acci ..."

Fahri, who was in the kitchen at the time, made breakfast for his wife. He was shocked when he heard a scream from above. When he realized the sound from his room, Fahri immediately turned off the stove and immediately ran to see his wife.

"Arumy!!" exciting Fahri.

"Well, did you wake me up early in the morning" asked Samuel.

"Arumi fainted, Sam. We are in the hospital right now" Fahri said across the phone.

Eyes that were still squeaking, immediately opened wide when hearing Fahri's speech.

"What hospital are you in? I'll be there soon" said Samuel who also no less panicked.

"You don't have to follow, Sam. You better just go to the house and please check Arumi's phone that fell not far from the bed" said Fahri.

"Mobile? What's wrong?" asked Samuel who seemed to not understand the words of his interlocutor.

"Arumi yelling in the room. I accidentally looked at the screen of his phone that was still on . It seemed that he was looking at a photo of someone covered in wounds. Try to check, who knows you can recognize the person," explained Fahri.

As he approaches Arumi, Fahri's gaze is fixed on Arumi's cellphone which is still on. The man could not see it clearly because he was too panicked his wife who suddenly fainted.

"Well, I'll be there soon" said Samuel.

The call was cut off. Samuel immediately got out of his bed and rushed to the bathroom first. The man washed his face, for it would take a very long time if he took a bath as well.

After twenty minutes, Samuel arrived at Arumi's house. The man immediately entered the house, greeting the several maids who were standing guard in front.

"Samuel sir" said one of the servants.

Samuel smiled back at the greeting.

"Mrs Arumi was taken to the hospital, sir. He screamed and then fainted" ART explained.

"Yes, I know Bi. Fahri told me to take something and go to the hospital. Can I enter Arumi's room?" ask Samuel.

The waiter nodded his head. Samuel went straight to Arumi's room. When he arrived at the stairs, he crossed paths with the Goddess.

"Mother Goddess, ...."

"Ah yes ..," the woman looked deathly pale. This certainly makes Samuel wonder, he glanced towards Arumi's room.

"You looking for Arumi? He is currently in the hospital" said Dewi.

"I was ordered by Fahri to retrieve Arumi's phone that was left behind. At the hospital, Arumi asked for her cell phone" Samuel told a lie.

Samuel stepped back, but suddenly the Goddess intercepted him.

"Wait!!" sergeant Dewi.

"This is Arumi's phone. I got it lying on the floor" continued Dewi.

Samuel's forehead frowned again. He also took a cell phone offered by the Goddess.

"Thank you" said Samuel.

The goddess did not reply to Samuel's words, so she chose to leave Samuel without saying a word.

Samuel looked up, and he stared at the goddess's back further and further away. Then Samuel opened Arumi's phone. He knows the password of Arumi's phone which is fairly easy. That is according to his date of birth .

After successfully unlocking the screen, Samuel immediately checked several incoming messages. And there was not a single message like Fahri said earlier.

"There's nothing" Samuel murmured.

He looked back towards the Goddess. And it adds strongly to Samuel's previous assumption, that there was something the Goddess tried to cover.

"It looks like something's wrong with Miss Dewi. I will investigate it secretly" Samuel murmured.

The man chose to go from there, heading to the hospital to see Arumi's condition.

Arumi just woke up from her stupor. He saw Fahri who was beside him. Staring at him worriedly while clasping his hands.

"You're conscious, honey."

"Where are we, Mas?" tanya Arumi spread his gaze.

"We're in the hospital, honey. You fainted, " Fahri replied gently.

Arumi recalled the terrible incident. He took a long breath. "Where's my phone, Mas? Did Mas Fahri bring it?" ask Arumi.

"Mas didn't get to take him. But I called Samuel, asked Samuel to get your phone. Mas also told the news of your stings to mama," said Fahri.

Arumi only closed her eyes when she heard Fahri. The woman did not say what the Goddess actually did. And the Goddess was not as good a person as she had expected.

Shortly thereafter, Samuel arrived at the hospital. The man looked worried, looking at Arumi who still looked pale.

"Are you okay?" ask Samuel.

"I'm fine, Sam." Arumi tried to pull out a line of smiles with those pale lips.

Samuel set his eyes on Fahri. The man seemed to understand the code given by Samuel.

"Darling, you're here for a second. I want to go out with Samuel first" Fahri said.

Arumi chimed in on her husband's words with a nod of the head. The two handsome men came out of the room and sat in waiting chairs.

"Have you seen the picture?" ask Fahri.

Samuel shook his head. "I'm late. Ms. Dewi took her phone first, and I didn't find any message in it" Samuel said as he thrust the flat object at Fahri.

"Mama?"

"Yes, your father-in-law."

"I told my mom about this incident. I thought he was gonna be on his way here soon. Why does he have to go home? Didn't come here to see Arumi's condition?" Fahri.

Samuel exhaled violently."Next time, if there's anything call me right away. Don't call Miss Dewi. I don't want to corner your in-laws, but I feel suspicious of Madam Dewi. When I got there, Miss Dewi gave me her phone. I checked, there are no more photos like you said," explained Samuel.

"That means ...." Fahri was stunned by Samuel's explanation.

"Yes. Most likely, it was your in-laws who deleted the photo. But, you take it easy. I'll investigate. My goal is to stop working just because of this" Samuel said.

Samuel patted Fahri's shoulder slowly. "You better not trust others too much. Even unexpected people can become criminals" Samuel continued.
