Chapter 96. Other Reason

Fahri and Arumi have just arrived at the office. The two walked together to enter the towering building in front of him.

Tinkling spoons and plates, as well as various conversations seemed to fill the restaurant . Fahri spooned his food, then fed his wife who looked very spoiled lately.

After finishing her meal, Arumi saw some employees who were still enjoying her meal.

Arumi nodded her head. They also walked away from the place to return to the office.

Upon arriving at the office, he saw Samuel who was still at his desk. The man was focused on doing something.

Arumi walked up to Samuel, making the man turn to his wife.

"You're not on your meal break?" ask Arumi.

"No. There's still so much to do" Samuel said, staring at his computer screen.

Samuel was silent. He then set his eyes on Arumi. "If so, are you okay with me leaving?" samuel looked at Arumi seriously.

Arumi remained silent. In his heart, he was unwilling that Samuel should leave him. After all, Arumi was comfortable with Samuel. Not that in the sense of having a special relationship, but as an older brother who takes care of his sister well.

All this time, Samuel was the one who took care of Arumi. If Arumi was in trouble, Samuel would come to him and help the woman.

"Are you no longer willing to work with me? Watch me?" ask Arumi.

"My job of looking after you has been replaced by the man who is currently standing behind you. Just now looking at you meaningfully. Ye know? He can take better care of you than I can" Samuel explained.

The look of disappointment was clearly visible on Arumi's face. "Stay working with me. I already consider you like my own family" the woman asserted. He left Samuel and went into his room.

Fahri also entered the same room, following the wife who had stepped inside.

Fahri sees Arumi who is facing her while looking out the window. "What's wrong?" ask Fahri.

"Samuel .. he said he wanted to quit his job" Arumi murmured.

"Why?"

"Eitherway. Honestly, I can't just let go. Samuel I think of as my own family. To me, he is a good brother. He's always at the forefront if I have anything" Arumi said.

Seeing his wife's grief, he understood how important Samuel was to Arumi. Fahri could understand, the important portion of Samuel was different from him. And it does not make Fahri jealous, he thanked Samuel who has been keeping Arumi so far.

"Have ... later let Mas do the talking to Samuel. Now, we'd better buy Samuel some lunch. Maybe he is currently holding back his hunger for a job" Fahri said as he hugged his wife. He tries to calm Arumi down and convince her not to worry.

After calming down his wife, Fahri came out and approached Samuel's desk.

"Can we talk for a second?" ask Fahri.

Samuel immediately closed the worksheet on his computer screen. Then he got up from his seat, following Samuel's steps to take him.

Fahri brings Samuel to a restaurant where he previously dined with Arumi. The man paid the bill that the waiter sent him.

"What do you want to talk about?" samuel asked after resting his ass on one of the chairs there.

"Arumi said, you want to stop. What was? Why do you suddenly want to stop working after going through everything with Arumi?" ask Fahri.

"Are you not jealous?" samuel Fishing.

Fahri shook his head. "I was jealous at first. But once I know that you are the most important person in different portions, I can understand it" Fahri said.

"I'm afraid if you're jealous I'm close to Arumi" Samuel said, chuckling.

"If that's your reason for quitting, you better forget your intention and keep working. I'm not a childish man, limiting my wife's relationships just because of my high selfishness" Fahri said.

Samuel slowly shook his head. "That's not why I quit. I had another reason and it was for Arumi's sake" Samuel said steadily.
