Chapter 24. Elena's threat

Samuel led Arumi to the roof. However, what he will discuss is about Arumi's privacy. There's no way that guy would say that anywhere.

Samuel's steps stopped, and so did Arumi's steps. The man turned to look at the beautiful woman who was beside him.

"Should you do that?" ask Samuel.

Arumi slightly raised her chin. Of course he knew where Samuel was going. Moreover, he was caught by the man looking at Fahri secretly.

"It turns out that this time, you are faster than before" Arumi said as she folded her arms forward.

"Conscious! The man is married. Are you still going to destroy her home life?!" samuel exclaimed as he gave a look of disbelief to the girl. He never thought if Arumi to have such slick ambitions.

"I did the right thing. I saved him from a woman he didn't deserve to fight for. The woman who just wasted her efforts for the sake of another man" Arumi said.

"Conscious Arumi!!" samuel said in a high tone. The man looked at Arumi with sharp eyes. Samuel had never called Arumi by name before. He always called her sweet. However, this time he was really emotional on Arumi's selfishness.

"You knew? What you are doing right now will make you miserable later. And if indeed your plan to destroy their household has succeeded, not necessarily that man recovered quickly from his past" Samuel continued.

Arumi smiled again, then turned around to leave Samuel. Quickly, Samuel caught Arumi's wrist. He made the girl look back at Samuel.

After hearing one word from Arumi's mouth, at the question he asked earlier. Samuel slowly released his hand.

"Yes, you are right. I'm just your subordinate who has no right to take care of your personal life. I'm sorry," said Samuel lowering his head.

Arumi hurried away from the place, leaving Samuel alone. His eyes glazed over, he realized that his attitude towards Samuel this time was too harsh. However, Arumi did not want Samuel to expect anything more from him.

That man Arumi had. For Arumi, Samuel is a friend, father, and brother. When Arumi fell, only Samuel was at his side.

If Arumi allowed Samuel's feelings to grow, then he would be sure to return alone and Samuel would eventually leave him too.

In this world there is no term ex-friend, ex-father, or ex-sister. And Arumi avoids the former word that will be pinned to Samuel later.

The girl's steps stopped, when she crossed paths with Fahri. Their eyes met each other, but Fahri just lowered his head, without saying a word.

"Can we talk for a minute?" ask Arumi.

"I'm sorry, but I still have a lot of work to do" Fahri said without looking at his interlocutor. He looked down from Arumi.

After saying the sentence, Fahri resigned himself from the presence of Arumi. While Arumi, he turned to look at Fahri's back which was getting further and further away from him.

"Did I just get a rejection? Ck, that's right!" grouse Arumi.

"Dodge it continuously like that. I won't be tired of always chasing, then catching you," Arumi said.

The girl resumed her delayed steps. He walked to the parking lot and entered his car.

"I want you to find information about someone's background" Arumi said as the call was connected.

"alright. I'll send you a picture of him via message. And remember! Let no one know this, including Samuel."

After talking to someone across the phone. Arumi decided on the call. The girl turned on her car engine, then drove the vehicle into the street.

Sifa was doing the usual activities. He serves buyers very friendly, giving his best smile accompanied by suggestions about beauty tools that he sells.

After serving the buyer, Sifa asked her friend to keep her place for a moment. Because the girl was going to the toilet.

Sifa entered the ladies' room. He stood in front of the sink, before stretching the muscles that felt sore standing long enough.
