500 Million Men
Chapters 140. Taste That's Hard to Understand

Samuel chose to close the previous page, then searched for one of the contacts on his phone. The man also placed the flat object on his earlobe. Shortly afterwards, a voice came from across the phone.

"Halo Fahri, I want to ask you something" Samuel said.

"Ask what?" fahri said across the phone.

Samuel circulated his gaze for a moment, then said the question in a quiet voice.

"Did Mother Goddess ever come to your house again?" ask Samuel.

"No, what's wrong?" Fahri asked back.

"We better not talk about this on the phone. Do you have time to meet today?" samuel said.

"It just so happened that Arumi didn't come to the office. Just meet me at the office" Fahri said.

"All right then. I'll see you there."

Samuel hung up his phone call. The man was just about to get out of his seat, suddenly his eyes caught Elena who was with her family, seemingly chatting while commenting on a smile.

Not only Elena, he also caught the figure of the man who was with Elena at that moment. Both of Elena's parents seemed to be about to walk out of the place, leaving Elena alone with the one beside her.

Elena directed the man to sit on one of the chairs there. Elena's eyes met Samuel's eyes. However, the girl only reviewed her smile at a glance, then dropped her buttocks on one of the chairs in front of the man.

Samuel who was about to leave that place immediately abandoned his intentions. He chose to sit back in his chair, occasionally he threw his gaze at Elena and the man.

"Who's the guy who's currently with Elena?" muttered Samuel.

Samuel then steals a glance at Elena. He saw Elena who had developed a smile on the man who was currently with the girl.

For some reason, there was a strange feeling that enveloped Samuel right then and there. He felt uncomfortable with Elena who had reviewed the smile for the man.

"Is that guy a comedian? Why did Elena smile all the time" Samuel grumbled.

Samuel had seen both. Until finally, the man came home. Elena drove the man out. And again it made Samuel grumble.

"Did that man not have eyes? Or did he forget where the exit was to ask Elena to deliver it?" grumbled Samuel.

The man grabbed the glass of water that was on his desk. Then then downing the water in the glass until the toilet is not left. Samuel wiped the corner of his slightly wet lips from drinking the water in a hurry.

A moment later, Samuel heard footsteps approaching him. He turned his head, seeing who was approaching him. And it turns out that person is Elena. The girl immediately pulled one of the chairs in front of her, then looked at Samuel closely.

"What are you coming here for?" ask Elena.

Samuel was stunned for a moment to hear the question coming out of Elena's mouth. "Do I have a reason to come here? I am not here every day" Samuel said.

Elena chuckled, she hid her hands under the table, then squeezed her knees tightly, trying to look fine in front of the man.

"Ah .. the man. Her name is Tomi, she is .. my future husband," Elena replied with a smile. The girl squeezed her fingers under the table after telling Samuel that the man was her future husband.

"Well?!" Samuel's surprised.

"You're kidding, right?" samuel asked with a small ruckus. The man seemed to assume that Elena's words were just a mere joke.

Elena's hand reached for her bag on the table, then pulled something out of her bag and gave it to Samuel.

"What's this?" samuel asked to see Elena handing Elena a wedding invitation.

"My wedding will be in twelve days. I hope you can come to my wedding reception later," Elena said pulling both corners of her lips.

Samuel was flabbergasted, his hand outstretched taking out the invitation letter given by Elena. The man became a little dazed, he stared at the invitation letter with his blank look.

As if not believing Elena's words, the man immediately opened the invitation letter. And sure enough, it was written in the invitation letter that Elena was his bride and the man named Tomi was his bride.

Samuel smiled bitterly, for some reason something was a little bothering him, as if he would not want to marry another man so soon.

"Then .. I congratulate you" said Samuel smiling.

"Thank you," Elena said as she smiled at Samuel.

Elena began to feel that she could no longer look okay. Looking for another reason, Elena tried to get out of her seat.

"You're okay I'm staying. The soon-to-be-announced wedding kept me a little busy" Elena said.

Samuel just nodded his head while reviewing the smile, without chiming in on Elena's words earlier.

Elena began to take her footsteps to leave Samuel. When Elena turned around, her eyes had already started to tear up.

"Don't cry in front of Elena, if you don't want to see her pitying you continuously" Elena said.

Elena got into her car. The woman drove her vehicle into the street. While on the way, the tears that Elena held back from earlier were immediately shed.

Elena chose to pull over her vehicle, then rested her head on the steering wheel while crying a mouthful.

As powerful as she tried to control herself in front of Samuel, Elena remained weak. Maybe because she still hopes for her unrequited love. In addition, her husband-to-be blatantly said something that made the woman feel excluded. However, Elena tried to review her smile as she was aware of Samuel's eyes constantly looking at her.

At the same time, Samuel slightly squeezed out the invitation letter given by Elena earlier. I don't know why he felt something that couldn't be explained. It was as if Elena was going to marry another man that quickly.

"What's wrong with me? I don't seem to be in my right mind anymore" says Samuel Monologue.

The man also moved from his seat. Leaving the invitation letter on the table, walking out of the Cafe with a feeling that was difficult for his common sense to understand.
