Chapter 50. Reasons To Stay By Her Side

A few servants took Arumi to his room. He laid the woman's body on the girl's bed. One of them tried to call the doctor using a landline. After calling the doctor, the waiter called Samuel, because the man was the closest to Arumi. Always be on standby in case something happens to the girl.

After calling the doctor and Samuel, the servants took care of Arumi. He wiped away Arumi's dripping sweat, and cleaned the wound with warm water.

After twenty minutes, the doctor arrived. He checked the condition of Arumi who was still unconscious. And then Samuel came. The man looked panicked when he saw Arumi's current condition.

There were some bruises and slight blisters on his face. Samuel sat at the side of Arumi's bed, holding the girl's hand.

"How's he doing, Doc?" ask Samuel.

"The patient was in severe shock. Later I will prescribe sedatives and wounds to dry quickly," said the doctor.

Samuel nodded in understanding. He looked at Arumi with a meaningful look. "You know, this is why I've always stayed and wanted to be by your side. So that I may protect you from those who want to harm you" Samuel said.

The doctor prescribed Samuel the medicine. He said goodbye after giving the recipe. One of the waiters escorted the doctor out.

Samuel also asked one of the servants who was there to go to the pharmacy. Redeem the medication prescribed by the doctor.

While Samuel, the man chose to remain beside Arumi. He did not want this incident to happen again to the girl.

At first, Arumi seemed ordinary. Like someone who is sleeping. However, before long, Samuel felt Arumi return the grip of his hand.

Arumi's hand grips are getting stronger, as if clutching Samuel's hand. The girl also let out quite a lot of sweat on her face area. While his mouth was rummaging indistinctly.

"Arumi, .. wake up Arumi!!" Samuel tries to wake Arumi up. He woke the girl from her nightmares.

Arumi opened her eyes slightly. His sweat paled, his breathing was also stingy. Samuel grabbed the drinking water on the nightstand, then gave it to Arumi.

"Drink first" said Samuel gave a glass of drinking water to Arumi.

Arumi grabbed the water given by Samuel, drank a few gulps and handed it back to Samuel to put it on the nightstand.

Arumi looked at Samuel. The girl hugged Samuel. He was sobbing in the arms of a man who was like a father and a brother to him.

"Calm down! I will always be here to take care of you. Do not be afraid" said Samuel while wiping the girl's long mane to calm Arumi.

Arumi let go of her embrace. Samuel wiped the girl's tears. He really loves Arumi and does not want the girl to be hurt in the least. However, a thousand times dear Arumi did not reciprocate his feelings. He considered Samuel to be the only family he had. As for the mother of Arumi, the woman is still wandering around looking for men out there to meet her needs.

Shortly after, the waiter who was asked by Samuel had just arrived while carrying a plastic containing drugs for Arumi.

Samuel gave Arumi a sedative tablet. Then apply the ointment on the wound and bruise.

Arumi grimaced in pain as she felt a pain in that part of the wound. "Awww..," said Arumi in pain. After applying the medicine, Samuel blew on Arumi's wound so as not to feel too sore.

"Sleep! I'll take care of you" said Samuel while helping Arumi lie down.

Arumi calmed down after taking the medicine. His breath was no longer as stingy as it had been. When Arumi was closed, Samuel rubbed the top of Arumi's head. Slowly the girl closed her eyes again.

When Arumi fell asleep, Samuel walked out of the girl's room for a moment. He saw several domestic assistants and security guards standing in front of the house bowed down feeling guilty.

Samuel went down the stairs. Everyone in the living room lined up to find Samuel approaching.

"Where are the security guards? Why would something like this happen?" samuel snapped at the three guards. Samuel had been given the authority by Arumi to rebuke them if there had been any mistake discovered by Samuel. And tonight, their mistake was fatal.

"Where were you when it happened?" samuel asked who was currently standing in front of the security guards.

"I'm sorry, sir..I got a call from my family in the village" said security guard 1.

"You?! Where was it when it happened?"

"I'm going to the restroom, sir." The 2nd guard chimed in Samuel's words.

"And you?"

Samuel sighed while rubbing his face violently. "Other times you want to do something, you tell each other not to do something like this" Samuel said with emphasis.

"Already! Everybody go!" continue the man.

Those who were there immediately dispersed themselves. The man returned to Arumi's room to look after the helpless girl.

"Preferably tightening security. Your safety can be threatened if it's like this constantly" the man murmured as he looked at the sleeping Arumi..

The next day, Arumi awoke from her sleep. He saw Samuel sleeping on the side of his bed holding his hand. Arumi was stunned to see the man. Then he arrested Samuel, shouting in the man's ear.

"Wake up!!" arumi shouted loudly.

Samuel awoke from his sleep because of Arumi. The man rubbed his ears which felt buzzing due to the girl's scream. While Arumi chuckled amusedly at seeing Samuel.

"Starting crumpled," Samuel grumbled sharply at Arumi.

"Sorry" said the woman.

"Why are you here?" ask Arumi.

"Have you forgotten what happened to you last night?!" the man was still rubbing his ears.

Arumi nodded slowly when she realized the incident last night. Samuel who saw Arumi gave a full probing look. "Can you explain it in more detail about last night's events?" ask Samuel.

"He came in and ruffled papa's study. I don't know what he's looking for" said Arumi.

"Keep you put up resistance until these wounds?"

"of course! I'm very angry if anyone walks into my papa's office. Even people at home can only enter because of my permission," Arumi said.

"Other times, if anything harms you, you simply call security! Don't attack him alone" Samuel said.

"Look! Your face is ugly!" jeered Samuel.

Arumi held onto her face area. Then the girl got out of bed to look in the mirror. When he saw his reflection in the mirror, Arumi's eyes immediately faded. He was surprised to see some bruises on his face. And in some parts it also looks swollen.

"Akhh !!!" Arumi shouted loudly, making all the servants who heard the scream immediately approached Arumi, afraid something happened to the master.

When they arrived at Arumi's room, he was a little confused because nothing happened there. Just looking at Arumi who was staring at her in the mirror reflection.

Seeing the servants coming, Samuel chuckled. "Obviously, drama in the morning. Please continue your work" said Samuel.

The servants stepped out of Arumi's room. They went back to work.

Arumi was very upset to see her face in the mirror. "He who? Why does my face look like a monster?" frustrated complaining.

"Not to overdo it! You are still beautiful even if your face looks like a monster," said Samuel.

"Omong empty!" ketus Arumi's.

"Do you know who the man who attacked you was yesterday?" ask Samuel.

Arumi seemed to remember for a moment. "Come on, but she doesn't seem foreign to me" the woman said.

"Content aroma. I'm like no stranger to the scent of perfume she wears" the girl continued.
