A Chance?

In the living room, Sean and Om Donald were sitting and chatting.

"How's your relationship with Linny? Is he still as hard as he used to be?"  Ask Om Donald.

"It's much more in appeal first Om. Even though he's still stubborn but at least he would listen to my words if it's for his good" Sean said honestly.

"She still refuses to marry?"  Ask Om Donald.

Sean looked at Om Donald and sighed. So far any mention of marriage problems then Linny would just be silent not responding.

"He was silent Om. How many times I want to mention the matter of getting married, he will just be silent not to comment" Sean said.

More precisely Sean is starting to resign. He knows Linny always Linny. There was no way Linny would change his thoughts and principles so easily.

But hearing that, Donald laughed happily. Sean stared in surprise at Om Donald.

"Good then. That's a sign he's starting to falter" said Om Donald, smiling at Sean.

"Relationship?"  Sean didn't understand.

"You know Linny's hard, right? And he cannot keep his dislike if he is uncomfortable" said Om Donald.

Sean nodded in agreement with Om Donald's words. Linny was so honest. If it was uncomfortable then it would be visible directly from the gestures of his body even Linny would blatantly say it. He can't pretend to like something.

"If he doesn't want to marry you and doesn't like to marry you. Then when you discuss marriage he will definitely loudly refuse and even get angry. You've been with him all this time don't understand it?"  Say Om Donald with a laugh.

Sean was stoked, he didn't think about it. Sean also remembered his invitation to Linny to get married and indeed Linny refused to even look angry at Sean.

But now if Sean was to offend the marriage then Linny would just be silent unwilling to respond to him.

"That means you're that important. And she wants to spend her life with you. But there may be a part of his side that feels unable to agree with your invitation. You know what his life has been like, right? He must be pessimistic and afraid that his past will boomerang if you marry and have children" said Om Donald explained.

Om Donald who really understands the character and way of thinking Linny certainly not difficult guess what is in Linny's mind. Not much different from Donald. It's just that Om Donald can not have a family because it will endanger his wife's child if detected by the enemy.

"Didn't he believe that I could protect and do what was best for him and our son, Om?"  Ask Sean seriously.

"I think he really believes in you. If not, then she won't be that sure of whatever you give her. Clothes, food, even Om heard some projects and jobs he believed in your decision, didn't he?"  Ask Donald while smiling at Sean.

Sean nodded. It might be true that Linny has his own fear of marriage. And Sean's job is to convince Linny that everything will be okay.

"Keep forward. Don'tstop. Believe this. There will come a time when he will agree to your invitation, Keep fighting, it's your chance to show you can be a good husband for Linny" said Om Donald cheered Sean.

"Thank you Om" Sean said with a smile.

"It's much better if you have children after marriage. It would be better for Linny's reputation. You know he's not often covered by the public who's run out of gossip?" Say Om Donald with a laugh.

Sean responded with a smile and laughed.

"Let's drink again. This calm won't make you drunk. Just make you span later. Ah pity must fast yes because Linny still can't" Ledek Om Donald.

Sean felt embarrassed in Om Donald's ledeki like that. He was only able to temper the wine in his glass slowly.

Sean was surprised to hear the words of Om Donald to cough. Donald laughed at Sean who was surprised.

"Don't groggy. Om just kidding" said Om Donald with a laugh.

"yes Om. I can't possibly go back to that either. It could die me in Linny's hands" Sean grimaced in horror at the thought of Linny going berserk and damaging Pluto if he dared to go back like that.

"Haha. You seem to be very afraid of Linny. How can you be the head of the family. You are" said Om Donald laughing at Sean who looked nervous and afraid of Linny.

"You're gonna kill Linny? Please don't" said Erik begging Linny.

"Why?"  Linny asked Erik with a questionable look.

Erik breathed a heavy sigh. He remembered how Joe treated him so well. Joe even chose to follow him up to the shophouse was a sign that Joe did not want Erik wretched. He just wanted to make sure and see for himself what Erik was actually doing.

"If he was indeed siding with Rain. He'll either kill me or knock me out while I'm at Rain's base. He's one of Rain's bodyguards in charge of guarding the base. He used to give me information that I sometimes didn't know about Rain" Erik said, recalling Joe's kindness.

"You like it?"  Asked Linny directly.

"He likes me" Erik said with confidence.

Linny was stoked to hear Erik who was so confident in himself saying that.

"I know if he loves me. But he never touched me. He's really good actually. Please give him a chance to stay alive" Erik said.

"If it's good why be the executioner at Rain's place. You know what Rain's world looks like, don't you?"  Said Linny astonished.

"He's an orphan. Since at the orphanage he was also tortured there. He was told to beg and busk. When he was a teenager he ran away and finally knew the world like that. Robbing kills and eventually joins Rain. Instead joining Rain is the best option rather than continuing to steal and rob until you have to kill" Erik explained.

Erik and Joe talked together quite often. Joe has told a tragic story of his life. Dumped by parents who object to paying for children. He ends up in an orphanage that makes him a bad person.

"If he betrays and contacts Rain? What are you gonna do?"  Linny asked seriously.

"I'll kill him with my own hands. Then I will kill myself" Erik said confidently and without trepidation.

Erik and Linny's eyes looked at each other as if searching for the truth within.
