Artland Series: MINORITY TALENT
Morning Rain's

November is the best time to hide and calm down. Especially in the morning rain. Those were the times where I preferred to curl up on a worn sofa, in front of the fireplace. Listening to the rhythm of the rain while sipping a cup of coffee that is still steaming.

Freeze up!

A soothing freeze as well as warmth, which strengthens the perfect blend in the harmony of the rhythm of the rain and the aroma of a cup of coffee. It feels like a heartwarming peace. Like a sorrow that cuts but does not hurt. Or a deep but unrelenting longing.

Like you're not where you are!

Sometimes hiding feels so much better than being alone.

Sometimes I wish I could forgive and let go where I can hold you for a little while.

Dee...

I hate to admit this, but the coral-hearted woman is the only place I can go home.

The Ocean Goddess was stunned in confusion as I confronted her at the gate of her house one night. His eyes and mouth were round when he tried to say something but could not find the words.

I liked his expression as he was stunned by the confusion. Sometimes I do silly, meaningless things to see her bewildered. "Well..." I hesitated. "I hate that I'm back" my god is a little. Just to overcome the nervous feeling. I know the Goddess of the Ocean is still mad at me. And that makes me a little nervous. Not once did I make a mistake and make him angry. Even though he always forgave me in the end, I still needed a sweet way to deal with it whenever he started getting angry. "To be honest, I'd rather I never leave so I never come back" I said, trying as sweetly as I could. Although I was fully aware that my words were not getting any sweeter, they were getting more and more slurred.

The girl just shut up. Just listen with a frown, then sigh and shake. Then he shook his hand a sign that he didn't care.

A week ago, I had a fight with him when I said I was going for a hike. He hated me the most when I went climbing. "Not many people go hiking in November" he said.

He's correct. But I insist that he just reasoned. He never allowed me to go hiking even if not in November. I came home riding a motorcycle at high speed in a state of anger. Heavy rain caused the streets to become so slippery. I slipped and I stopped going for a hike because I had to lie in the hospital for a few days.

"If Denta is wrong, apologize profusely," my mother persuaded the Goddess of the Ocean while I was in the care.

But I know exactly, the Ocean Goddess is not the type of girl who is easily persuaded. I know he's still mad at me, even though he's really worried. The more he worries, he will usually get angry.

I followed him as he walked across his yard half-run. "Dee, please!" I'm trying to hold him. But it didn't work.

He slammed the door as soon as he entered the house and left me outside.

To be honest, it was a little rough. But I'm trying to understand. "Dee..." I knocked on that door over and over again. Then knock on the window too. Pretty long. But there's no answer. I waited for him for a while, then came back knocking on the doors and windows. Still no answer. Maybe I should wait for him in a while. Then I walked away from the door. Get off the terrace of his house and wait on the park bench, under the acacia tree, in the yard of his house. Wish he saw me from the window of his room on the second floor.

But it looks like the Goddess of the Ocean has already closed herself.

I waited for him until the early hours of the morning.

And he never came back.

I waited for him until morning. Until the lightning flashed and the lightning roared over my head. Until the heavy rain hit me, until it was soaked. Freezing and cold. But I didn't give up.

Sometimes a person makes it hard for himself just to prove himself.

I know the morning rain is her favorite moment. You could say he almost adored her. "I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get some rain out there" she said every time it rains in the morning. But he just coiled in front of the fireplace while freezing. Looking out the window, and through the rain with his imagination. Because in reality, he can't even touch rainwater because his body is allergic to rainwater. "It was the same as the Farmer's Princess who craved the Prince's Beloved," he said sourly.

"At least you've got the Prince's girlfriend" my god usually. Just trying to make him feel calm in his seat.

Now the Prince is here, Dee!

Awaiting you...

Overnight.

If this could make you love me again, I would be willing to rain in the morning!

It felt, it was still much better if he shouted angrily than he was silent no matter. Even if he says, "get out here!" Instead of just shaking and saying nothing more. Because it only means one thing: "Whatever!"

The roar of motorcycles blared from a distance, then stopped in front of the gate of the house of the Goddess of the Ocean. Before long I heard the sound of the gate opening and closing. Then the motorcycle passed in the yard and stopped in front of the door. Without having to wait long enough, Dewi Samudera opened the door for the Motorcycle Rider who had just arrived.

"What's wrong?" The Motorist's voice sounded familiar to my ears.

Without a second thought I approached the two when I saw the Goddess of the Ocean hugging the Motorist.

"Look..." The Ocean Goddess shouted hysterically. "I heard Denta's voice in front of the gate" he said, crying.

"Shh.... Sshh..." The Motorist rubbed the shoulders of the Ocean Goddess, trying to calm her.

"Then I entered the house, I also heard doors and windows being knocked. I'm scared," he whispered.

Afraid said? The Ocean Goddess is afraid of me? Is that true?!

With a heartfelt feeling I dragged my steps closer to the two, then tried to let go of their embrace. But my hand just floated in empty air. I was stunned for a moment and then tried it again. But again my hand floated past them. This is so weird. I can't touch them.

"Denta loves you, Goddess!" The motorist said softly. "If you think he's haunting you, I'm sure he doesn't mean to scare you. Maybe he just wanted to say I love you!"

..._...

Casey yawned wide and suddenly couldn't resist his drowsiness. He closed the book in his hand and put it on a small table by his bedside. After that he turned off the lights on the table and pulled the blanket and closed his eyes. For a moment he thought about the boring love story he read and was filled with strange feelings that pressed him. Makes himself more sleepy. Soon the girl fell asleep in her dream.

In his dream, Casey enters the room behind the low-ceilinged library that Denta shows on the first day he arrives at his new home. And inside the room, he found three people dressed mysteriously as the clothes of the man he had met in the Deasy Grunting Reading Garden. They were gathered in the middle of an unexpected room that was much larger than the living room in his house. One of them is a woman.

Then one of the men in the middle of the room raised his face and looked towards Casey. That man is Denta. Before long a man behind her followed Denta's gaze and turned to Casey.

Casey gave a stifled strangle as the man exposed his face.
