There were nine men and one woman, standing in front of the room with the same features. Long-haired. Slender-bodied. They were all dressed in tight all black complete with a leather jacket with a headscarf. It's like a ninja uniform. They were all flat-faced, sharp-eyed and tended to smile thinly or laugh silently. As for the things that can distinguish them are only the face, hair type, hair color, skin color, eye color, height and age. The rest makes no difference.
The nine men were Talent Seeking Agents who were experts in disguise. They all took to the streets and spread all over the place as spies then mingled in society with various disguises.
In a certain scope, specifically, these Talent Seeking Agents are called Paravisi. One of them had recruited Elijah.
Ardian Kusuma, Ryan Gunawan, and Last Dusk are also included. And the only woman among them was the captain.
Athena!
"Welcome to MINORITY CENTER," said Athena. "We offer a chance to anyone who has a big dream but doesn't even dare to want it."
More than a hundred people in the room listened to Athena's welcome from across the room as a participant.
"But before you all dream too high and expect too much, I want to tell you this truth..." Athena hung up her sentence for a moment, then circled her eyes to see if everyone was looking at her well enough. "Many are called, but few will be chosen" he said coldly.
Instantly all the participants sighed, some bowed, some exchanged looks left and right. Some are still confused.
"You're here because of a call. But that's not enough to prove that you're the chosen ones. Everything needs to be tested. Everything needs a process. So before the process begins, you should ask yourself once again, are you not mistaken in choosing a room? Because all that process will start from this room. Here your pride will be at stake. Here you will all be humiliated" said Athena at length. "We'll only give you one chance to change your mind" Athena pointed her hand at the door. And waited.
Ryan Gunawan and Last Dusk then stepped closer to the door and opened it. Then the two stood by the side of the door across the street.
"Ask each other if you deserve to be here. Make sure once again that you deserve the gift." Athena flinched for a moment. Awaiting reaction. "You need to know that a great gift is equal to a great commission. Great mandate demands great skill." Athena looked back, looking at the faces before her one by one.
The entire room simultaneously held its breath.
"Many people feel that they deserve the opportunity, but not many people are aware of the responsibility." Athena continued. "Do you understand that every right is directly proportional to responsibility? If you understand enough, make a decision now!"
A girl groaned from the middle of the room and sighed her body standing up. "Forget it," he said as he yawned. "I really can't take it anymore."
His attitude was clearly making the entire room look at him.
The girl draped the backpack on her shoulder. His body was thin and small, his hair was trimmed short above his neck. His face looks sad and childish. With a lazy motion, the girl stepped out from the row of benches filled with people. "I want to dream at home" he said, yawning once more. "I'm really sleepy."
Athena watched the girl with a thin smile as usual.
Shortly afterwards the girl had already walked out of the room followed by everyone's gaze.
Athena turned her attention back to the center of the room. Examine one by one the faces in front of him.
The faces in front of him still looked confused. They exchanged glances with each other to ascertain whether they should just hang on or get out now. It seems easy enough for the girl but why doesn't it feel easy for them.
Luciana sighed, then looked doubtfully at Ardian Kusuma. It was clear that he was trying to shake. I shouldn't be here, he said in his heart. Esther Maria and Ika Apriani, who were at the time on her left-right, exchanged glances and observed her. The reason I am here is because I like Ardian Kusuma, his mind is bitter.
Athena suddenly stared intently at Luciana. Then he turned to Ardian Kusuma.
Luciana gulped. The feathers immediately bristled. He looked at Athena at a glance and then lowered his head. Dare not to look at. Does he know what I'm thinking? He wondered in his heart.
Ardian Kusuma developed his faint smile.
Some of the boys finally decided to come out. Then three girls followed.
Luciana intends to get out of her seat as Esther and Ika's hands simultaneously snatch the sleeves of her planel shirt, keeping her seated. It seemed like the two girls on her left-right had already read Luciana's howl.
"Don't even think you can run away from me." Whispering threatened him.
"This time I really can't help you save face a second time." Ester chiming.
Luciana snorted as she twirled her eyeballs.
Athena raised her eyebrows watching Luciana. Then waiting.
Half of the occupants of the room finally paid attention to Luciana curiously.
Luciana could feel her face start to burn and meet red. He felt intimidated by the situation. But then he realized he could do nothing but give up. He breathed and then relaxed his body.
Ika and Esther release it together.
The two girls beside him bought back while smiling triumphantly.
"In the tenth count, the door of the room will be closed!" Athens announced. "Use your time as best you can to make a decision. One..." Athena began to count.
Suddenly the room turned tense.
"Two,"
The entire room began to exchange glances with anyone following the reach of each other's eyes.
"Three,"
A man stood up and raised his hand. All eyes were now centered on that figure.
Esther looked at him.
The man is quite handsome and has a special attraction. His body was very tall, his shoulders were wide, his skin was white. His nose is sharp, his eyes are twinkling. His performance is similar to that of Croatian piano player Maksim Mrvica. Just a lot younger.
At first glance people will guess themselves a musician. Although he did not carry a musical instrument. Or even if he does not look like Maksim Mrvica, people will still think he is a top artist. Judging from any aspect the man looks striking among the others.
He has enough assets even if he does not have enough talent, Esther also regretted. He's not giving up, is he? Esther wondered.
The boy stepped out of the row of benches and walked towards Athena.
"Who are you?" Athena asked. "You don't intend to follow this program, do you?"
"Jonathan?!" Suddenly someone shouted from the middle of the room.
The man stopped and looked at Athena then turned to look for the source of the voice.
Elijah stood around his waist glaring at him among the people on the participant bench. "What are you doing here?"
"Right," the man said to Athena. "I'm here to find my sister." The man then walked quickly through the rows of benches filled with people who still survived and took Elijah's hand and sighed the girl from their midst.
However, Elijah is not his name if he is unable to resist and prefers to make a riot. Reflexes he clasped the boy's hand and stepped back away from him. "Gue is not her older sister!" The hardship. Prepare to rage.
Instantly the room turned rowdy. Everyone around the place simultaneously stood up from his seat, away from Elijah.
The boy glared at her without saying a word.
"Evan?!" Athena snarled towards one of the Paravisis behind her.
The tall, brunettes man named Evan walked up to Elijah, trying to tear the two apart.
"Don't interfere!" Elijah warned.
Evan laughed without a sound. "I offer a better arena for fighting" he told Elijah.
Make Elijah undo his intentions. "Ok," said he. Elijah's turn now grabbed the boy's arm and beat him a little rough. "Pointing out where it is?!"
Evan laughed again without a sound, then walked ahead of the two.
Soon they disappeared at the exit.
The whole room breathed a sigh of relief.
"How's it?" Athena asked. "Still wanting to survive?"
All the participants who had stood back to their respective places.
After that Ryan Gunawan and Last Dusk closed the door.
The atmosphere of the room was silent again.
