Artland Series: MINORITY TALENT

Artland Series: MINORITY TALENT
Phenomenons

The old man opened his mouth about to say something, but suddenly someone threw a smoke bomb into the middle of the room while rubbing Casey's face from behind and pressing both eyes with the palm of his hand. A second later, Casey's body fell limp and slumped on the floor.

Casey tried to raise his face off the floor as someone wrapped his hands around his waist. But then the temple pulsated. A pinch of honey brown hair parsed from behind the hood of someone's jacket behind Casey then whipped it across Casey's face. Casey could breathe in the soft scent that was being spread from that hair. A gentle scent that felt familiar to him. "Ezra..." Casey sizzling softly. Tears spread. Then his vision became blurred.

Simultaneously the sound of thumping footsteps approached him.

Casey opened her eyes with great difficulty. Trying to focus his eyesight. But the faces that were ducking over his head were faint. Casey could still feel a pair of hands supporting her back and legs as her body lifted off the floor, then she saw two familiar faces, Ezra, Denta. Then everything turned into complete darkness.

"Casey!"

Casey heard voices calling out to her. But he can't even see himself. And his consciousness is getting smaller. Everything looked dark, then gray, then white, before long Casey saw a burst of colorful light, then back white. Then the white faded. And finally he could see it. Seeing the face that was falling over his head.

Elijah had just gotten off his motorcycle and was walking towards a Coffee Shop when someone hit him from behind. His jaw tightened, prepared to cuss, then twisted his body and froze. Refraining from spouting his harsh words once knowing who hit him.

A slum girl stuttered at him with a frightened face. "Sorry" she almost cried.

Elijah was filled and lost his anger.

Without waiting for an answer, the slum girl rushed to leave Elijah with her face down.

Elijah was still in his place when the slum girl finally ran and someone then shouted at her.

"That girl stole your wallet, sir!" A boy told Elijah.

Elijah turned to look at the boy as he felt his pants pocket and growled. "Dogs!"

The boy screeched in fear hearing Elijah swearing. "I'm sorry" she regretted when she realized Elijah wasn't a man. He thought Elijah was unhappy because he thought the girl was a boy.

But Elijah didn't care about the boy. Elijah sped from his place and burst out among the people milling along the sidewalk.

Making everyone curse at him.

The boy heaved a sigh of relief while rubbing his chest.

While the slum girl had already run quite far in front of Elijah, Elijah could still see her when she entered a narrow alley towards the slums on the outskirts of Artland.

It did not take long, Elijah had reached the middle of the settlement and found the slum girl was trapped among ten annoying-looking men. "Because, lu!" One of the men smirked towards the slum girl earlier.

Elijah stopped his steps at the edge of the grassy field not far from the mountain of rubbish.

The ten men surrounded the Shabby Girl and ridiculed the girl with dirty words. One of them caught the girl's hand and began to play her with disrespectful, harassing touches.

Instantly Elijah's anger began to bubble in his throat. "Hey!" He vented his emotions by rebuking the impolite man. "Please hand Lo if you don't want a broken cave!"

The ten men turned their heads toward Elijah.

The girl squealed in fear knowing Elijah had caught up with her so far.

Hearing herself being called a girl, clearly made Elijah rise in blood. He was struck by the man who said it with a Capoeira-style spinning kick.

The man staggered back, and his nine companions simultaneously lunged towards Elijah.

In one fell, Elijah had succeeded in subverting two men at once. Elijah groaned in disappointment knowing his opponent was all drunk. "Monkey," he growled, fixing his headgear and standing without horses.

The ten men were still curious to attack Elijah.

But Elijah has lost his taste and temper.

Meanwhile, the Shabby Girl was trying to take advantage of the opportunity to escape.

But Elijah caught his hand faster. "Where are you going, huh?!"

The slum girl jerked her hand from Elijah's grasp but then groaned and gave up. Elijah's hand was as strong as an iron shackle.

"Reverse my wallet!" Elijah snarled as he squeezed the girl's hands and snatched her purse. The girl's hand was squeezed in her hand. Elijah released him.

The girl grimaced as she rubbed her bluish hand. Looked at Elijah timidly.

Elijah observed the slum girl sharply, trying to remember her face well. Next time do not expect to deceive me again with a glaring look, furious in the heart. Then it passed from before the girl and away from the slum earlier.

The slum girl looked at Elijah until she disappeared in the alley. Then peek at the ten men who were sprawled near the pile of trash. The woman was mentally handicapped, he thought.

Shortly thereafter the girl slipped past the ten men, then fled the slum. Arriving outside the alley, the girl turned towards the antique shop center and slipped into one of the unused shophouses. Once inside, the slum girl felt something constantly vibrating inside her jacket pocket. The girl took out the thing and examined it. Then he breathed. He forgot to return Elijah's cell phone. I don't want to deal with women anymore so-so, the mind is sour. Before long his face turned pale as soon as he stared at the mobile phone screen.

The inbound call that dominates the mobile phone screen comes from a contact named Evan Jeremiah, and his profile photo is plastered across the screen.

The slum girl's hand suddenly trembled uncontrollably, as did her eyelids. Soon the girl sobbed and buried her face between her knees.

..._...

"Where are you went?" Evan Jeremiah approached Elijah with a panicked look. "Why not answer my call?"

Elijah looked at the man's face expressionlessly. His mouth was busy biting the grass tucked into the corner of his lips.

Evan sighed and calmed down. Then hugged the girl in front of him with a feeling of relief. At least he's okay, he thought.

The girl just shut up. Still busy nibbling the grass at the corner of his lips. But before long his hands finally began to busy fumbling his jacket pocket, then his pants pocket and growling, "monkey!"

Hearing that, Evan simultaneously let go of his embrace and looked at Elijah's face with a frown.

Elijah brought his face closer to Evan's face, then grinned, "Hp I'm missing," he whispered. As if that was some kind of word I love you.

Evan groaning. Then head the girl's forehead while whispering no less friendly, "disfigured!"
