Artland Series: MINORITY TALENT

Artland Series: MINORITY TALENT
Abnormally

Dusk slowed down his motorcycle then pulled over and stopped in front of an already deserted stop. Shaking his cell phone sounded impatient in his jacket pocket. In a hurry he took out the cell phone and checked it. An incoming call dominates his phone screen.

"Position?!" The voice across the phone sounded urgent as soon as he received the call.

"One minute to go!" Dusk closed the call and put the cell phone back in his jacket pocket.

When he started his motorcycle, someone suddenly grabbed the sleeve of his jacket and grabbed it. Jolts him. Dusk turned and was stunned.

A pale face stared at him with a frozen gaze.

Dusk swallow. The feathers simultaneously bristled.

A wave-haired woman who had broken down to her waist, wearing a long white, pale-faced dress with dark circles around her eyes, suddenly stood next to her motorcycle. Reminds her of the sightings of female ghosts in Indonesian horror films.

By the time Dusk received the call, the time had already shown at 23:15. And at that moment Dusk did not see anyone around the place. The feathers return to the bristles.

Suddenly the woman screamed. Staring at him with a look of fear. Then let go of his grip and stepped back away from Dusk.

Dusk.

With trembling hands, the woman held out a black leather wallet towards Dusk.

Dusk sighs. Then grab that wallet and check it out. This is my wallet, he said in his heart. He looked at the woman's face and put the wallet in her pants pocket. "Thank you" he said to the woman. He tried to smile to melt the atmosphere.

But the woman was still looking at him with a pale face of fear.

Dusk stared back at him for a while, before finally getting distracted by the vibrations from inside his jacket pocket. I have to leave, he realized. Then he lowered his head towards the woman and passed.

"You're 3 minutes and 16 seconds late" said Athena when Dusk had just stepped off her motorcycle.

"Good!" Dusk groaned in response.

Dusk and Athens were Vision Experts involved in the Spiritual Military Organization of seven countries. In general, these Vision Experts are known as "Sharers" or "Seeers". Within their Organization, these Vision Experts have their own Division named the Paravision Committee, which is specifically designed to deal with mental cases and behavioral aberrations in seven countries. The average Paravisi has the ability of the sixth sense. And Athena is the Captain.

"So... What kind of mess are you doing today to the point that someone is watching you?" Athena asked.

Dusk gulped hearing his question.

In addition to the excess vision, Athena also has the ability to hear the inner voice. From the voice of the heart, he could guess what someone was thinking.

Dusk sighed, "i was only a few minutes late, and you didn't stop making calls. I pulled over for a while to make you stop being fussy because I was driving" he said at length.

Athena looked at the man in front of her while crossing her arms.

"My wallet fell, and I didn't notice it until..." Dusk did not continue his story when Athena's hand suddenly grabbed her hand.

Athena had above average divination abilities. He is able to read the events experienced by someone just by touching hands. "He is not an ordinary man" he concluded.

"I didn't even think he was human" Dusk chimed in.

"He saw you" Athena said dramatically.

Makes Dusk creep. A moment the frightened face of the woman flashed inside his head. Instantly his throat seemed to be suffocating. Horrifying images from his past sprung up in his vision. Shackles of chains at his feet, then in his hands. His mouth clenched tightly as he tried to scream. His breathing was hunting uncontrollably and both knees were trembling uncontrollably.

Dusk flinched before finally falling to a sweat bath.

Athena approached him and crouched down before the man with an anxious look. "You must learn to make peace with your past, Dusk!" Athena patted the man on the shoulder to strengthen him.

Dusk raised his paled face then looked at Athena blankly.

Athena gulped, and moved backwards away from the man. Observing the face in front of him was with eyebrows interlocked. "Who are you?" He asked in a loud voice.

"Ocean Goddess..." The twilight hissed let out a female voice.

Making Athena stand up and be stunned.

A second later the face returned to its original Dusk. "I'm sorry..." The twilight returned. This time he made his own voice.

Athena was still staring at Dusk with her forehead wrinkled.

Realizing that, Dusk looked at Athena suspiciously. Then force yourself to stand up. He wiped the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand, then staggered closer to Athena. "Do I look bad?" Dusk asked.

Athena was silent. His face was still dumbfounded and had not blinked.

"Captain?!" The twilight shook Athena's shoulder.

The woman was surprised. "Sorry" he said nervously.

"Do I look bad?" Dusk repeated his question.

"No" replied Athena. "I mean, it's not about you. But about the woman," he explained.

"meaning?" Dusk asked.

"The woman needs help..." Athena hung up her sentence before adding, "now!"

Without waiting for the order again, immediately Dusk moved to approach his motorcycle half-run, then ride it. "Don't go anywhere" he told the still-stupefied Athena. After saying so, Dusk started his motorcycle and turned it in the direction he came and then slid down the asphalt road leaving Athens.

As Dusk rose, the figure of the woman in white dress suddenly flashed from the sidewalk and stopped suddenly in the middle of the road with her arms outstretched. Making Dusk spontaneously slam his motor to the shoulder of the road leaving a deafening squeaking sound. Instantly his body was slammed while his motorcycle swirled around uncontrollably resembling a slim.

The woman screamed, smothering her eyes with both hands.

Athena closed her eyes tightly. The distance of the accident was quite far from where Athena was waiting for Dusk. But his above-average hearing power was able to capture the event.

Dusk closed his eyes against the pain on his back that was swiping the asphalt back. His body was dragged quite a distance after he slammed off his motorcycle. He was silent for a while before finally sighing in relief then rolling over, pulling his body and bending his knees over the asphalt road. Ducking for a moment to recover the dizziness in his head. Then look around.

The woman in white dress still smothered her eyes while sitting in the middle of the road with a trembling body.

Dusk sighed his body standing up, dragging his steps closer to the woman while removing the helmet from her head. He saw his motorcycle lying quite far from where he slammed the handlebars. His distance was about ten meters, while his body was slammed about five meters in the opposite direction. He frowned imagining the details of the incident earlier. "Truly looking to die," his grunts annoyed. But then he was filled to find that the entire body of the woman was trembling. Carefully touched the woman's shoulder which was then returned with a cry of fear. "Cashhh.... It's ok..." He tried to calm the woman.

The woman raised her face and looked at Dusk closely. His face looked even paler than before.

"It's ok" repeated Dusk as he crouched down in front of the woman and helped her up. The woman's body was still trembling as Dusk swept her to the side of the road. He must have been scared to death, he said inwardly.
