CHAPTER 17 | Step to 9 Sun and Moon Unite

Elder Wang Mei fixed her seat and listened seriously to the Sect Chief's words while glancing towards Baihu who was smiling at him.

“This child is my younger brother?” he muttered in Wang Mei's heart.

“Baihu is a disciple of my junior brother Master Wu Shan” continued Sect Leader

“What? Is Baihu a disciple of Master Wu Shan?” Wang Mei's eyes glared turned her head towards Baihu.

The Sect Chief saw Wang Mei's shock and cursed at her. Then he stood up and walked into the pavilion courtyard.

“If you don't believe it, take a look at Wang Mei.” the Sect Chief said as he walked to the page

“Baihu come here son. Attack me with the 8 Suns and Moons you have mastered. I want to see the extent of your abilities after 4 years of this” continued the Sect Chief who was curious about Baihu's development.

Baihu walked to the courtyard approaching the Sect Chief, “Please hint from Sect Leader”.

Elder Wang Mei looked at the two of them who had prepared to train. Baihu then put up the horses and prepared to attack the Sect Chief.

“Straight Sun First” Sect Chief's orders

Baihu immediately took out the First Sun stance of the 8 Sun and Moon styles and then charged towards the Sect Chief. Wang Mei's eyes widened to see that.

“Good. The Second Sunset” continued Sect Leader.

Hearing the hint from the Sect Chief, Baihu immediately turned his nurse into the Second Sun. So on until the Fourth Moon which is the 8th from the Sun and Moon.

Seeing Baihu well took out the 8 Steps of Sun and Moon, making Wang Mei not stop being surprised. He himself only understood up to the 6th step of the Sun and Moon, namely the Second Moon.

Wang Mei did not stop rubbing her eyes in disbelief seeing that Baihu had mastered the 8 Sun and Moon styles well.

“Hahaha... indeed Master Wu Shan is very observant of judging a gifted child” Sect Chief said with a laugh.

“How's Money May? Are you still questioning it?” ask Sect Chief to Elder Wang Mei.

Baihu simply lowered her head in embarrassment in front of Wang Mei. She felt bad for not being straightforward with him from the start. But Wang Mei had never asked him that question.

The Sect Leader then took Baihu back to sit down with Wang Mei who still had not calmed herself down.

Wang Mei still continued to stare at Baihu's face as if asking her why she wasn't being straightforward with him. Baihu did not dare to turn her head towards Elder Wang Mei, she simply lowered her head and occasionally looked at the Sect Chief.

“Baihu, as I promised and saw that you have mastered the 8 Steps of the Sun and Moon. Then I will give you the last step which is the 9 Sun and Moon Unite. Come see me tomorrow at the sect-specific training room in the Sky Region. Elder Wang Mei will take you there tomorrow” Sect Chief said.

“Good Chairman” said Baihu with pleasure because finally can learn the 9th step to complete the 9 Sun and Moon Steps.

“Because it's night, rest tonight. I'll be waiting for you tomorrow. Hahaha.” Said the Sect Leader happily as he floated away towards his residence in the Sky Region.

“Truly luck sect. Hahaha..” The laughter of the Sect Leader sounded away.

“Teacher, forgive me for not telling you” Baihu said to elder Wang Mei.

“Stop calling me Teacher. You are my younger brother. I also never gave you knowledge because you have mastered it.” Wang Mei said stop her steps.

“Good. Big brother Wang, forgive me” Baihu said back to his words while lowering his head.

Wang Mei did not know whether she should be sad or happy after knowing the truth about Baihu. But in his heart he had to realize that Baihu's science was actually on top of him.

“I'm not worthy to be your Teacher” Wang Mei muttered in her heart

Elder Wang Mei then left the pensive Baihu alone in the pavilion. He sighed then looked towards the night sky.

“Teacher, I will finally learn the 9th Step of the Sun and Moon. I will avenge your death soon and my parents” muttered as I stared at the starry sky

The next day Elder Wang Mei picked Baihu up at his residence, Baihu's friends were surprised to find Elder Wang Mei early in the morning had come to the master class student residence when the lesson was not yet going to start.

Baihu immediately followed Elder Wang Mei to go to the Sky Region to meet the Sect Chief in the special training room.

Their friends stared at Baihu's departure with question marks. “Has something happened with Baihu?” sunne whispered to Yanfe next to him.

“Entah” said Yanfe who also did not know it

Upon arrival at the Sky Region, Elder Wang Mei directly took Baihu to the special training room behind the Sky Region. Some of the elders who happened to see it felt strange, they were stunned to see the new disciple being invited to meet the Sun Moon Sect Chief by Wang Mei.

“Good. Finally you came also” Sect Leader opened his eyes from his meditation.

“Continent Sect” said Wang Mei with Baihu while saluting.

“Chairman Wang Mei, go back to teaching your class. I will directly train Baihu” Sect Chief said to Wang Mei.

Elder Wang Mei knew the rules of the Sun Moon sect. Before fully mastering the 8 Steps of Sun and Moon and being in the God Realm, it was not yet entitled to receive the 9th Step from the Sun and Moon Sect Chief.

Only vice-chairman Shu Wei had been given the 9th rank by the Sect Chief, yet he had still not mastered it to date. Master Wu Shan should have been given the rank by the sect head during his life, yet he had never come to the sect residence. So he couldn't learn it directly.

“Baihu, this 9th Step is just written on this wall. It cannot be rewritten in a book by anyone. You should remember that” the Sect Chief said as he pointed at the wall to his right.

“I will cast a spell to unseal it for the writing to appear. It will take you 2 hours to memorize it. After that, the writing will disappear again. So it will all depend on your own luck” continued the Sect Leader.

Baihu nodded her head and prepared to read the writing on her left wall. The Sect Chief then closed his eyes and immediately cast a spell to unseal the wall to his right. Then appeared the writing on the wall “Straight to 9 – Sun and Moon Unite”.

Baihu faced to the left then seriously read every single piece of writing that appeared on the wall in front of him. He repeatedly read and remembered it in his heart and imagined in his head the movement from the 9th step of the Unified Sun and Moon.

Baihu visualized the movement based on the writing in his mind, then remembered it many times. After about 1 hour, he closed his eyes to recall the image of the style in his mind. 30 minutes later he re-opened his eyes to make sure what he imagined was in accordance with the writing.

After 2 hours, the writing slowly disappeared again. The Sect Leader then opened his eyes and asked Baihu. “How? Do you understand it?” ask the Sect Leader.
