CHAPTER 40 | Caged in the Cave of Wisdom

Baihu looked from the direction of the height in the Wisdom Cave, the smoke turned out to contain muscle-weakening poison. Baihu immediately closed the respiratory tract and held her breath.

The sect heads of the nine great sects seemed to have been suffocated by the sudden poisonous smoke. Actually, the muscle-weakening poison was not too influential for the sect heads. But somehow they felt crowded by the poison and could not exert their strength.

The faces of the sect heads darkened because of it, they did not expect that the precious items within the Wisdom Cave would be looted by these people.

Baihu who was in the cave immediately prepared and intended to block the looters from entering the cave to loot the goods there.

It appeared that some people dressed in black had entered the cave to pick up the items inside the cave.

Baihu immediately exerted his cultivation strength and the 8th Sun and Moon to repel the people. The looters were made to fly down from inside the cave.

“Baihu” muttered Wang Mei who saw Baihu had been in the cave realm fighting them.

“Chairman, it looks like there is someone in the cave blocking us” shouted one of his subordinates.

“Sialang. Take the sect heads as hostages. Catch the man and grab the things inside the cave” he ordered

Soon they brought to the nine sect heads as hostages to make Baihu surrender.

Seeing the sect heads as hostages, Baihu could not dwell. He watched them come to the cave.

“It turns out to be just a kid. Back away son. We will not hurt the children. We just want stuff here” shouted the plundering chairman.

Baihu was still defending against them.

“Stop. Don't fight them” sect head Shang Chi shouted at Baihu.

Hearing the sect head's words, Baihu could only stop his attack and stand in the corner of the cave.

Soon their men gathered valuable items from the place. All heirloom weapons, schoolbooks from all over the land and other jewels.

Baihu could only be sad to see that. He who previously felt happy to enter the cave became nothing because all the goods had been looted by the herds.

“Back” orders that guy on his subordinates

After all the items were exhausted in that place, and hearing the chief's order immediately his people left from inside the cave while carrying the sect heads. Then shut the door from outside.

Baihu who moved too late could not get out from within the Wisdom Cave. He immediately struck the door of the cave with the maximum strength of his, but the door of the cave did not budge in the slightest.

After walking around for 3 hours, Baihu felt desperate and sat on the floor of the cave thinking about his fate. He thought about what he should do in the cave.

Finally he decided to cultivate in order to break through the Sky realm and try to open the cave door again. After cultivating for 3 days, Baihu showed no improvement in her body. He felt annoyed that his strength had not increased in the least.

“Aarrgh... “ Baihu shouted while exerting his strength inside the cave and made the cave tremble. It seemed that the three statues remained standing firmly even though he had shouted with all his might and shook the space in the cave.
