CHAPTER 29 | Wounds resurrected again

“Come Baihu!” the sect head shouted as he saw Baihu standing before the door of the hall.

Baihu then saluted and walked into the sect hall at the far end beside Zhang Ji and stood there.

“Alright, today we have a guest from the Sky Sword sect. There is Master Wang Lei coming with his 4 students, Gong Jun, Xin Ye, Yang Zi and Gao Tian.” sect leader Shang Chi said with a smile

“Chairmen of the sect, thank you for receiving our arrival” said Master Wang Lei

Master Wang Lei came forward and saluted the sect head of Shang Chi along with the disciples who followed him.

“Alright, their arrival as usual before the martial arts match is for introductions between us. I will introduce our team Shu Chao” sect head Shang Chi said.

Shu Chao immediately saluted the guests of the Heaven Sword sect.

“Murid is still a mainstay of the Sun Moon sect. I don't know where his current abilities are” muttered Master Wang Lei looking at Shu Chao's strength

“Then there was Zhang Ji and Baihu” continued sect head Shang Chi

Zhang Ji then saluted along with Baihu.

Seeing Baihu also being the representative of the sect, both the women Xin Ye and Yang Zi were shocked. As they knew Baihu had just entered being a disciple a few weeks ago, why was he already a sect representative in a martial match.

Xin Ye did not believe that, she drew closer towards Yang Zi, “Does the Sun Moon sect lack quality disciples so new disciples are included in this match” whispered to Yang Zi.

Yang Zi did not answer that question he just looked towards Baihu and only realized Baihu's hair was white. He just sighed.

“Alright, let's head to the training room to exchange opinions and some knowledge in order to see the development of each” said sect head Shang Chi.

They were escorted to the training room beside the sect hall by the elders of the Sun Moon sect.

“Baihu, don't be too loud ya” whispered the sect leader to Baihu with a smile

Baihu understood the intentions of the sect head, after all what was seen from those whose highest cultivation was Gong Jun who was in the late stage Holy realm was balanced with Shu Chao.

For Baihu this meeting is to get to know each other, so that they can establish friendship instead of hostility.

“Alright, let's allow the disciples to discuss and practice in the arena. The old us sat on top enjoying tea together. Let Master Wang, Please!” take Sect Leader Shang Chi to the stands that have prepared the seats and tables complete with the dishes.

In the arena, the disciples of the Heaven Sword Sect immediately swarmed Shu Chao and Zhang Ji next to him. They also discussed the science of each and the depth of their respective styles. While Baihu just stood alone looking at the surroundings and felt bored.

Baihu turned his head towards the sect head as if the protests were wasting his time training. The sect master only smiled amusedly looking at Baihu's face yet he ignored her.

“Hei brat, I didn't expect you would also follow this martial arts match” suddenly Xin Ye came to him with Yang Zi.

“How old are you?” xin Ye asked back.

Yang Zi frowned at Baihu's age, he saw Baihu's hair that was white, “Is this your hair real white?” asked Yang Zi curiously.

“Iya. I since birth already have white hair” Baihu said flatly

This time Yang Zi looked at Baihu's face deeply as if recalling the face of the child she was looking for. “What's your real name?” yangzi asked slowly at him while walking closer to Baihu.

Baihu turned her head towards Yang Zi and narrowed her eyes at him,”Why is this girl asking for my real name?” he murmured in the heart.

“What's your name Fang Bai?” yang Zi whispered while being near him

Baihu's face changed after hearing Yang Zi's words, she never mentioned her real name to anyone. Why this girl knows. Baihu then kept her distance and looked at her face with a sharp, hostile look.

Yang Zi noticed Baihu's change in attitude, she immediately smiled to calm him down.”Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I'm happy to finally find you Baihu” he said back with a heart of relief.

Baihu did not understand Yang Zi's words he still did not believe them. Baihu did not want her identity to be known to others,”Who are you?” tannya

Yang Zi smiled, “I am General Yang Guan's son, my name is Yang Zi. Do you remember me? 7 Years ago I came to your house with my father. Do you remember?” asked Yang Zi

Dahi Baihu furrowed at Yang Zi's words, she had absolutely no recollection of the events of 7 years ago. All of his past memories had been buried at the death of his parents. In his heart only remembered the grudges for their deaths on the Western Desert kingdom that attacked his parents' residence.

“Ah, it's okay if you don't remember me. As long as you are fine it is enough for me to please my parents” continued Yang Zi while smiling at Baihu.

Yang Zi sighed looking at Baihu's face which seemed to not remember her, she was grateful to see Baihu was fine. For Yang Zi, his father's request to find Baihu had already been fulfilled.

He did not want to talk about their matchmaking at this time. And Yang Zi also did not want to be bound to an arranged marriage with a little child she did not know like Baihu, even though both of their parents had already determined it.

Baihu did not feel any hostility from Yang Zi, but his face became grim as he tried to remember his past by Yang Zi's words.

“Sorry big brother, I really don't remember my past.” said Baihu grimly while lowering his head

Seeing the sadness on Baihu's face, Yang Zi became uneasy as her words might evoke bad memories for Baihu.

“What's Baihu?” w.a.n.g Mei asked who suddenly came to her because she saw the change in Baihu's attitude and face after speaking to Yang Zi.

“Chairman Wang” salute Yang Zi when seeing Wang Mei's arrival

“Ah, it's okay elder Wang” said Baihu who didn't mention brother in front of everyone to honor Wang Mei.

Baihu then left the training room, Yang Zi's words really forced her to rethink her past that she had forgotten.

Wang Mei immediately chased after Baihu as she saw her sad face. He did not know Baihu's past, yet he felt Baihu harboring pain in his heart.

Yang Zi looked at Baihu's departure with a guilty heart. He didn't mean to make her sad with his words. He looked around and decided to follow after Baihu. He intends to apologize to her.
