CHAPTER 46 | Wang family residence

Wanting to meet with Wang Mei and inquire about the news about the sect head, Baihu then ventured to sneak into the Wang family's residence when night fell. He moved to several pavilions to look into them hoping to meet Wang Mei.

“STEALERS!” the sudden yelling of someone made Baihu surprised.

Soon the guards came and surrounded himself who was late realizing he was the one they considered a thief. “Ah, perhaps making a fuss is the only way to attract their attention and meet Wang”'s older brother he muttered

The guards that surrounded him immediately attacked were about to snatch himself up. Baihu simply twitched and did not retaliate against their attacks. He did not want to hurt the people of the Wang family and made enmity with them.

“I can't hurt them. I just want to meet with big brother Wang, not to make enmity with the Wang” family he thought as he twitched

Seeing the attacks all the guards could not touch Baihu, one of them reported that to the Wang family. Wang Bao, Wang Mei's elder brother immediately moved as soon as he heard that a thief had entered the Wang family's residence.

Wang Mei who was also meeting her father Wang Huo was also surprised to learn that there were thieves who dared to enter the Wang family residence. He who was also learning martial arts immediately went to help subdue the thief.

“Who dares to steal in the Wang” family residence cried Wang Bao as he came and saw the convoluted Baihu could not be touched by his guards.

Seeing Wang Bao's attack, Baihu simply dodged and did not fight him. But it made Wang Bao even more violent because his attack could not touch Baihu.

“But rotten boy, I will kill you” cried Wang Bao who has now been at the peak of his anger. He also let out a more ferocious stance than before and raised his strength.

Baihu's eyes twitched as he made, he didn't want to fight Wang Bao, but if continuously pressed like that, one day he would be hit as well by Wang Bao's punch. As he was about to increase his attack, he suddenly heard the footsteps of several people approaching them.

“Kakak, stop!” suddenly a voice of the woman he knew came

Baihu turned her head towards Wang Mei who had come with her family. She saw Wang Mei's tears dripping from her two beautiful eyes. A smile appeared on the corner of her lips as she walked closer to Baihu.

Wang Bao's brows twitched seeing his sister walking leisurely towards Baihu. “Adik, do you know this boy?” yells

Wang Mei nodded her head, “She's my junior sister, kak” said without regard to her brother and continued to walk closer to Baihu.

“How are you doing, brother Wang?” baihu asked with a smile on Wang Mei as she was already nearby.

Wang Mei did not answer Baihu's question, but she immediately bumped into Baihu's body and hugged him.

All the eyes of the people in the residence almost jumped out of their eyelids. They could not believe that the big lady who had always looked glum became smiling and even hugged the body of a boy.

Wang Bao's eyes twitched at the attitude of his sister,”I...This... Who is this boy?” To his surprise, he stuttered in disbelief at what he saw.

Wang Mei's face turned red, she only realized what she had done. She had not expected that after not meeting for over a year made herself feel happy to meet Baihu and subconsciously hugged her.

Wang Mei then turned her body to face her father with a red face, “Sorry father, it has been more than a year that I have not met my younger brother. I'm happy to see him alive” said while lowering his head.

Wang Mei's father, Wang Huo looked at Baihu who looked still stunned in disbelief at the incident he had just experienced. “Take him to the guest hall. We spoke inside” of his orders while dispersing the people in that place.

Wang Mei then turned to look at Baihu's face which was still stunned with a red face. Wang Mei then laughed amusedly at her like that, “Hei brat, come with me” Wang Mei said as she pulled Baihu's hand to follow her.

Wang Mei was currently just 22 years old early, while Baihu was almost 17 years old. Despite their age, their bodies and faces do not look like that. Wang Mei's face looked much younger than her age, whereas Baihu's tall body and white hair looked older than her age, let alone her more cold and reserved demeanor.

While sitting in the guest hall of the Wang family, Baihu saw the faces of all the Wang family looking towards him. Their eyes seemed to want to strip him with a sharp gaze probing him.

Wang Mei who was some distance away beside him broke out in a cold sweat felt the surrounding cold aura that made her shiver.

“Dad, Baihu is my younger brother, but his strength is above mine. And lastly he was the winner of the inter-sect martial arts match a year ago. But since the incident last year, he was confined in the cave until now only I see himself again.” Wang Mei explained to his father.

Wang Mei's father narrowed his eyes looking at the attitude of his daughter Wang Mei, he knew his son liked this boy even though he didn't say it. He then sighed before speaking.

“Good. What need did you come here to find Money Mei?” wang Huo asked Baihu.

“Sorry elder. I came because I wanted to ask about the sect head of Shang Chi and the Sun Moon sect residence to big brother Wang. I also want to see the state of Wang's brother because for a year I did not get news about the outside world because it was locked in the cave” Baihu said while paying respect to Wang Mei's father.

Wang Mei was stunned to hear the reply from Baihu, she had not heard about the state of the sect for quite a while since her departure from being picked up by her father.

“Good. It's night time, since you're my son's younger brother, you can stay here for a while. Tomorrow you can talk about it back” said Wang Mei's father

Hearing that, Wang Mei immediately stood up to deliver Baihu to the guest room belonging to the Wang family. Wang Mei's father shook his head looking at the attitude of his son who became excited after meeting Baihu.

Wang Mei then drove Baihu to the Wang family's guest room and she returned to her room impatiently to chat with him tomorrow.

“My husband, what do you think?” wang Huo's wife asked after seeing that.

“You can see it for yourself, before your son Wang Mei's face was always grim and sad, sometimes he also had a hard time enjoying the food. Look now, he is so excited and looks so happy” Wang Huo said with a sigh.

“Like you never experienced it when he was young,” whispered his wife while hugging her husband and taking him to their room.
