BAIHU (White Tiger Warrior): Challenging the Dragon
CHAPTER 4 | Fighting Challenges

Seeing Baihu's training with the tiger cub, the old man smiled as he enjoyed the tea Baihu had served him.

“Newly a year of practicing this child has already possessed the cultivation level of a late level Master realm, in the near future it is definitely capable of breaking through to Spirit realm. Wu Shan has found a talented”.

About 2 hours later it appeared that Master Wu Shan had come and been picked up by Baihu who brought him the medicinal plant materials he had collected. Teacher Wu Shan narrowed his eyes looking towards the old man smiling at him on the porch of his house.

“Chairmen of the sect, what made you come visit me?” Teacher Wu Shan immediately bowed his body saluting the old man.

Baihu was surprised to see his Master being so respectful towards the old man, his face slightly nervous from the embarrassment of not paying heed to the old man before.

“Baihu, come. Let me introduce to Sun Sect Chief Moon” call Master Wu Shan.

Baihu immediately rushed up to them then stood next to his Master and bowed in salute like his Master, “Greetings to Sect” chief Baihu said nervously.

“Hahaha.. enough base friends.” Said the Sect Leader to Teacher Wu Shan.

Teacher Wu Shan smiled as he looked at the sect master who laughed at him.

The head of the Moon Sun Sect named Shang Chi, he was the youngest chairman back then and was so talented that he was able to become the heir and pass on the sect head at his young age.

Wu Shan was a senior and also a friend of Shang Chi when he was both practicing with the old sect head. Their talents were both equally strong, yet Shang Chi had a brilliant mind to develop the sect, while Wu Shan preferred to be alone with his natural life.

“I mean my arrival here is because the Satisfied King Shi Long has raised his challenge to challenge the Sun Moon” sect said Shang Chi.

Wu Shan's eyes twitched hearing the name of the Beast King Shi Long, five years ago he had defeated the Vast King Shi Long in an honest fight at the peak of Fire Cloud Mountain. Now he had come again to challenge the Sun Moon sect whose true intent was to want to fight Wu Shan back.

Vast King Shi Long was a Ming sect master who was in the territory of the South Sea Coast kingdom. The Mountain of Fire Clouds is right in the middle of the border between the Western Desert Vast and the South Sea Coastal Kingdom and is in the southwest direction of the city of Wuxia.

“You certainly know the true intent of the Convincing King Shi Long to challenge yourself. He is still not satisfied with his defeat five years ago from you” sect head Shang Chi continued as he sipped his tea.

Teacher Wu Shan nodded his head hearing that, knowing that the nature of the Beast King that was true to his name was very difficult to accept defeat and would continue to challenge him back until he won the fight.

Sect chief Shang Chi then stood up and walked up to Master Wu Shan, “ Come to fight with him representing the sect at the Peak of the Mountain of Fire Clouds in 3 more days”

“Good sect head” said Master Wu Shan bowed his head to sect head Shang Chi.

Baihu was stunned to hear the words of the sect head,”Alam Dewa? It took me how long to break through. You don't die just old man” muttered Baihu in his heart

Wu Shan who was still stunned because of the news looked towards Baihu who looked tense hearing the words of the sect head. Then he sighed and went inside his house to rest, “Baihu, continue your training and work. I will train first inside and do not disturb me” he said.

“Good Guru” sahut Baihu bent his body saw his Master enter the house. Then he continued practicing and doing homework as instructed by his teacher.

Master Wu Shan his strength is in the late level God realm, he has mastered the 8 Sun and Moon styles perfectly, to train the 9th style he should train in the Sun Moon sect residence. Yet he was reluctant to stay and train in the sect residence. So he was already feeling quite satisfied with his current strength and manager.

For 3 days Master Wu Shan took advantage of his time training to increase his cultivation to break through the Sky realm, but he did not manage to do so because of his age which is quite old and has long not been doing cultivation training regularly. He prefers to study medicine in his old age.

Finally the time for 3 days to fight arrived, Master Wu Shan's face looked tense at the thought of facing the Seated King who was 10 years younger than him. He should not have accepted the challenge. But as the sect head said, the Satisfied King was actually targeting himself in this fight.

“Baihu, you continue practicing during my departure. I've given you all the knowledge I have in the book I gave you. Don't laze to practice” Master Wu Shan's message to Baihu.

Baihu knew his Master would fight today. “Teacher, can I watch your fight?” tanyakanya.

Master Wu Shan actually felt today that he might not survive or get hurt. So he did not want his disciple to see himself in such a state. So he refused to invite Baihu to watch his match.

“You just continue the homework that is still a lot of unfinished. I have a medicine that you must help concoct with the science of medicine that I teach you” said his Master.

Although Baihu was disappointed at not being allowed to watch his Master fight, yet he did not dare to refute his Master's orders. “Teacher will win, later we will celebrate after Guru back” Baihu said with a smile

Master Wu Shan forced himself to smile at Baihu, but the look of tension on his face was hard to hide. He immediately left Baihu at his home to the Peak of Fire Cloud Mountain.

Baihu looked at his Master's back and wished him to win the match and return to that house.

Teacher Wu Shan did not look back, he did not want Baihu to see his anxious face about this match. For the sake of the Sun Moon sect, he had to fight back with the Conferred King Shi Long who was indeed targeting himself to fight for his defeat five years ago.

Under the foothills of the Sun Moon sect territory's mountain range, sect master Shang Chi was already waiting for him along with several other sect elders. Seeing Master Wu Shan's arrival, they immediately set off towards the top of Fire Cloud Mountain.

The tension was not only visible on Master Wu Shan's face, but the faces of sect head Shang Chi and the other elders were no less tense than him as well.
