CHAPTER 3 | Become Elder Wu Shan's disciple

Old man Wu Shan then carried Baihu's body to his residence, a hut on the highest peak slope inhabited by the Moon Sun Sect. Then he took some medicinal pills and gave them to Baihu.

“I have to drain the energy in 9 Sun Moon to save him” muttered Old Man Wu Shan. Then he flowed the knowledge of the 9 Sun Moons into Baihu's body that lay weak to recover his condition.

After feeling the change in Baihu's breath and body temperature, old man Wu Shan sighed. He felt relieved that Baihu's condition had been saved, then he cooked some soup for Baihu to eat when he regained consciousness. Not to forget he also gave meat to the tiger cub Sunu who followed them.

About 1 hour later, Baihu began to wake up, “Mother...” softly while remembering something. His eyes began to look around the place that felt foreign to him.

“Where am I?” he thought as his memory began to recover. He looked around the room which looked quite neat despite being simple. His head felt a little dizzy because of the result of him resting too much since he was unconscious.

Not long after he saw someone approaching him. Baihu tried to sit up and be alert because he had not seen clearly the face of the person who approached him.

When his eyes began to see clearly, he exclaimed.”Grandpa! Where'sme? tanyakanya.

Wu Shan smiled at him,”You are at my house”. ”Eat this soup to restore the condition of your body” he continued while handing the soup to Baihu.

Baihu grabbed the soup, then ate it slowly. His eyes could not be seen while looking around him and he smiled when he saw the tiger cub, Sunu was also enjoying the meat in the room.

“Spend your soup! I'll be back” soon old man Wu Shan told her, then he left her inside the room.

While eating his soup, Baihu tried to recall the events that had happened to him that day. He recalled having eaten a fruit that even Sunu himself was unwilling to eat so he was poisoned.

After Baihu finished her soup, she felt her body become refreshed. Then he tried to stand up and walked slowly out of the room.

Outside the room he looked at the simple living room belonging to the old man Wu Shan, and his eyes looked for the whereabouts of the old man. He saw the old man was busy splitting firewood in his backyard.

“Oh, are you better?” said old man Wu Shan after seeing Baihu's arrival approaching him.

“Teacher, thank you for saving me. Accept me to be your disciple” said as he knelt before old man Wu Shan

The old man Wu Shan narrowed his eyes and saw solemnity on Baihu's face, then he sighed, “Alright. I will accept you to be my student” he said

Hearing his Master's reply, Baihu became elated and immediately kowtowed three times as part of the offering to his Master. “Stand!” his teacher later.

“I'll rest for a while. You continue to split this firewood first” said the teacher.

“Good Teacher!” sahut Baihu excited

Wu Shan then went inside his house to brew tea while looking at Baihu who was diligently splitting firewood in his backyard.

“Your body and bone structure is good. You can definitely exceed my strength someday” Wu Shan muttered as he sipped his tea.

After completing the task of splitting firewood, then Master Wu Shan ordered Baihu to take water that was quite far away in the river at the foot of the mountain.

10-year-old Baihu did everything her Master commanded diligently and without complaining. It made Master Wu Shan happy to see his diligent student carrying out his duties.

That night, Teacher Wu Shan gave Baihu an explanation about him.

Baihu listened carefully to the explanation from his Master. Master Wang then gave him a book “Science 9 Sun and Moon” which he had personally compiled based on the original book of the Sun Moon sect.

“Learn the basis of cultivation of 9 Suns and this Moon. But daily work should not be forgotten to train your body to be stronger.” his Master's message

“Good Teacher!” sahut Baihu who happily received the book from his Master.

Because he was too excited, Baihu then read the book 9 Sun and Moon given by his Master until he fell asleep while hugging the book in his chest. Master Wu Shan shook his head while smiling at Baihu's spirit in training until he fell asleep from exhaustion.

The next day, since morning Baihu was doing the routine task of splitting firewood and taking water from the river. After taking a nap he was ordered to run around the house a few rounds that were continuously upgraded each day. Then do not forget he also trained to lift weights until the afternoon.

After dinner, he read the book 9 Suns and Moons and trained it gradually every day.

It didn't feel like a year he had been with Teacher Wu Shan in that house to become a disciple and train from him. Baihu was only 11 years old and Sunu tiger cub was about 2 years old. Baihu had already received many lessons from his Master Wu Shan. Starting from internal energy cultivation techniques, medicinal techniques to medicinal purification techniques.

“Teacher, why is the book of 9 Suns and Moons there are only 8 levels?” ask Baihu one time

“Because the 9th level is only inside the residence of the Sun and Moon sect. I myself have not been able to learn it” said Master Wu Shan.

One afternoon, as usual Baihu was training her body to run around the house. He ran followed by a tiger cub who always accompanied practicing the style. While his Master Wu Shan was going to the mountain slope to look for medicinal plant materials.

In the distance there was an old man who walked lightly to the house with a smiling face.

Baihu stopped his training and ran over to greet the old man. “Sorry elders, if elders are looking for Master. He was going to the slope to find medicinal plant ingredients” Baihu said with a smile

“Teacher?” The old man's estimation was true that the boy was a disciple of Wu Shan who lived in his house. The man narrowed his eyes, ”Son, can I sit waiting for him inside? I haven't seen him in a long time. I will wait for him back” said the old man smiling at Baihu.

“Okay elder, let me deliver” Baihu said as he let the elder enter his master's house and he brewed hot tea to give to the elder.

“Nak, have you lived here long?” the elder asked as Baihu was brewing tea.

“I stayed with Guru for about a year” said Baihu while handing tea to the elder.

“Sorry elder, I have to continue the training, so as not to make Master angry with me” Baihu continued while going to continue his training.

Seeing the departure of Baihu who continued his practice, the old man smiled and took the tea that Baihu had brewed, “This boy is very disciplined. I see he has the talent and potential to keep growing” he murmured.
