Chandra walked out of the hospital elevator in a hurry. Yesterday, according to a message delivered by doctor Edy, he had to meet with the head of the hospital immediately. As he was walking down the aisle he came across a woman not far from him and wore a hospital nurse uniform.
“Waw, what was your dream last night, Chandra? Why are you in the hospital so early?” ask the woman in a hateful tone.
Chandra did not answer questions containing sarcasm from the woman. He chose silence. However, the woman's emotions seemed to be very unstable evident as the woman continued her words harshly.
“You weak man and loser! You can't even do your job well. But I wonder, why would the famous Vijaya family accept you as their daughter-in-law? Or maybe you're using black magic?”
“I don't think it's your business, Miss Kirana, so you don't have to worry about our business let alone interfere,” said Chandra calmly.
“You.... how dare you reply to me! What a shameless thing! You think by being a son-in-law in the Wijaya family you've become a great man? Once a loser, forever you will remain a loser!”
Kirana Putri who is a head nurse and superior Chandra somehow looks so hate Chandra.
“I feel sorry for you. You can't distinguish your position at home and in this hospital. At home you may be free to let out all your anger, but not here! You can't insult people all you want, let alone insult me who obviously has no problem with you. Don't you think that your life is really sad?” Chandra replied to Kirana scathingly.
“Wah, have you now turned into a proud and arrogant person, Chandra? You feel great because you're the daughter-in-law of the Wijaya family? I'm telling you one thing, you're just a living doll to Sonya and her family. You have no self-respect! So never feel in the wind!” kirana's speech now sounds more and more outrageous.
I want Chandra to reply to the words of the woman with more spicy and sharp, but he remembered his time was wasted. He had to meet the head of the hospital in his room.
Eventually Chandra chose to relinquish and continue on her journey. Just a few steps he walked, the woman actually blocked his path and returned to vent his emotions.
“How dare you ignore me? Who do you think you are, huh?” Kirana started yelling at Chandra.
“Sorry Dear Mother Kirana, I am in a hurry and have no interest in serving you. So, please get out of my way, the hospital chief is already waiting for me in his room,” said Chandra trying to be patient.
Just as Chandra was about to reply to the woman's words, Edy's doctor came to them. Seeing the arrival of doctor Edy, Kirana's face changed drastically. Originally Kirana's face looked so red with anger that overpowered her, now her face had changed to be much friendlier with a sweet smile that adorned her face.
“Good morning doctor Edy,” greet Kirana in a friendly manner.
Hearing Kirana's greeting, Edy's doctor only glanced at her at a glance and nodded his head. He was more interested in Chandra standing in front of Kirana.
“Chandra, the hospital chief has been waiting for you since. Why aren't you in her room?”
Hearing the words of doctor Edy, Kirana was stunned. He did not think what Chandra said was the truth and not the hallucination of the man.
“I'm sorry doctor Edy. I was walking towards the hospital head, but the head nurse blocked my path and said I was just hallucinating because the hospital chief was waiting for me in his room,” replied Chandra honestly.
Doctor Edy looked at Kirana with a sharp gaze, “You are really brash Kirana! Can't you just appreciate someone a little bit? Even more so if that person is Chandra. A hospital chief just so appreciates him and even raised him to be the main doctor, why do you even insult him?”
Kirana's body trembled at Doctor Edy's words. If Dr. Edy says so, that is reality. He began to break out in cold sweat remembering all the words he had spoken to Chandra.
Without waiting for a response from Kirana, Edy's doctor invites Chandra to rush to the hospital's headroom immediately. Just as Chandra was about to step up, his arm was tightly grasped by Kirana.
“Chandra, I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I promise I won't do the same to you again. I'm even willing to be your follower forever. Don't tell my actions to the hospital chief. I don't want to get fired. I desperately need this job,” Kirana's voice sounds clear.
Chandra looked at her arm that was grasped by Kirana, then she pulled it forcefully until it slipped away. Regardless of the woman's apology, she continued to follow Edy's doctor. They both walked towards the hospital headroom. Towards a new chapter in their lives.
