Best Son-in-law

Best Son-in-law
A Beginning

"Be careful, the stairs are a little slippery and a little steep. Remember, don't let go of Sonya's hand." Chandra unceasingly reminded Sonya who was walking beside her right.

"I must be careful Chandra, and if I fall you'll help me, won't you?" Now Sonya is no longer shy or awkward in front of Chandra.

"Is there anyone else who will help you but me here?"

"You, you've always been teasing me." Sonya sneers.

Keeping Sonya's hand in hand, Chandra always protects the woman's body from people passing by without paying attention to the surroundings. Chandra looks so very fond of Sonya, so he does not want if Sonya touched others even if only a fingernail.

Just as they were about to arrive at the last rung of stairs, suddenly several teenage boys ran from behind them and crashed into Sonya. The woman almost fell forward if Chandra didn't catch her.

"You're okay, aren't you?" Chandra examines all parts of Sonya's body, fearing that Sonya might be hurt by the incident.

Seeing how concerned Chandra is about his safety, makes Sonya remember the old days. When he was always tough and indifferent to Chandra.

Chandra never once asked for her right as a husband. In fact, throughout their marriage Chandra never slept in his bed. The man always slept on the carpet floor.

"Chandra, I'm fine. You don't have to worry so much, I'm fine." Sonya stopped Chandra's hand that was patting the clothes attached to her body as if dust should not stick to a small item.

"Wait here for a minute, I'll teach them a lesson."

"Chandra, wait .. "had not had time for Sonya to prevent it, Chandra had gone away looking for the whereabouts of the teenager who had hit Sonya.

"That guy, sometimes overdo it." Sonya snorted, not believing what her husband was doing.

While waiting for Chandra to return, he chose to lean on the handle of the stairs, and observe the surrounding scenery.

Cold air, and a little fog that covered the crater rim gave a special impression for him.

Cold at once warm. Sonya felt that the air was getting colder, and she grabbed her jacket. But, he smiled sweetly full of happiness when remembering the incident earlier. When Chandra asked him to hold the man's hand and never let go. Sonya's face was flushed and a little hot.

After waiting for a while, Chandra came back to him with some teenagers who had been running around and hit him.

"Come, you're gonna have to apologize to my wife. Suppose I had held her hand too late, she might have been hurt by your irresponsible actions by now" Chandra looked at the teenagers with a fierce gaze.

Sonya looked at Chandra with a puzzled look asking for an explanation, whereas Chandra only nodded a glance at her.

"Tante, I'm the same friends want to apologize for our carelessness, aunt almost fell." One of the teenagers offered his apology with his head bowed.

"You call me Auntie?" Sonya was surprised to hear the call for her.

Chandra held back her laughter from seeing Sonya's face holding back was upset at not receiving the Aunty's call. While he was busy thinking about his safety, the woman was busy thinking about something very trivial.

"It seems like going up is much harder than when we came down earlier" Sonya looked at the stairs that were soaring up.

Chandra patted Sonya gently on the shoulder, and rubbed her for a moment before finally saying, "You can do it, but if you're not strong on the way, I'll carry you."

Sonya smiled broadly without being held back. Chandra really treated her like a queen. But he couldn't possibly trouble Chandra, so in a stirring spirit he walked up the stairs that looked so tall.

They laughed together when they reached the top of the stairs. Initially, Sonya who felt unable to climb up but in fact Chandra was the one who was troubled to climb the stairs.

"Who said he wanted to carry me?" Sonya laughed endlessly looking at Chandra's reddened face from being out of breath.

"I haven't been in sports for a long time, so it's commonplace that I can't catch my breath" Chandra tried to defend herself.

I'm glad to see you laughing Sonya. So beautiful and alive. It seems like my decision to give up on you this time is very appropriate. Because in this way, I can see you with another face. Chandra said in his heart.

"I want everything clean without a trace. I don't care if the woman finally disappears, there can't be any witnesses. I pay you dearly not to fail, if you dare to make a mess I guarantee your freedom won't last long." The man closed the conversation with a reddened face as it held in anger.

Since the incident in Chandra's room yesterday, Lisa is now more careful in acting. If accidentally breathing in with the doctor who became the owner of the idea to get rid of Chandra, Lisa deliberately linger in that place.

Like today when he just came out of Reza's inpatient room, and found that the doctor was talking to someone through his cell phone while standing at the end of a quiet hallway.

Lisa decided to eavesdrop from behind the wall while occasionally peering to see the doctor's expression. After breaking off the conversation, the doctor left in a hurry.

For a moment, Lisa thought about following where the doctor was going. Immediately later he canceled his intention, when he realized the doctor also said it was okay if the woman disappeared. That means, not only Chandra's safety is in danger, but Sonya's too.

Lisa decided to turn around and walk towards Chandra's room. He planned to tell this news to his superiors.

Not wanting to provoke a commotion, and also the suspicions of others Lisa walked in as leisurely and calmly as possible. Although actually the heart beats faster, and his body feels weak.

"Lisa, what do you need to do here?" A man was sitting sweetly behind Chandra's desk. His face was as surprised as Lisa's.

"I ... asked Dr. Chandra to clean his room every day as long as he was not on leave." A very cliche reason, but he was clearly not prepared to get such a question.

"Where is the janitor always on duty?" The man obviously could not accept Lisa's reasoning easily.

"There's, it's just that Dr. Chandra left a message like that. So I just followed his orders." Lisa looked up at the man in front of her.

"You're not planning or hiding anything, are you? Because if you are, then I can't just let you go."

"What do you mean doctor?" Lisa looked at the puzzled man after hearing his words, as if the man was accusing her of doing something.
