“My husband, how is our daughter?” a middle-aged woman asked Rega.

“Relax, Aluna is being handled by Chandra inside,” Rega replied with a smile greeting Doctor Melvin who came along with his wife.

“Is he a great doctor like doctor Melvin?” his wife asked to be sure.

Rega glimpsed the face of doctor Melvin who was waiting for orders from him to follow into the action room.

Then, he cleared his throat and said, “No. He is not a doctor. She ... is just a nurse. But he knows what to do.”

Dr. Melvin and his wife were shocked to hear Rega's words. How could a Rega Kusuma dare to give up his daughter for a nurse to operate on!? This is beyond their logic.

Doctor Melvin, who was aware of the tension between the couple, chose to stay away for a moment. Then, he walked over to doctor Edi.

“Doctor Edi, can I see the results of Miss Aluna's examination? Because it seemed that Mr. Rega said his condition was very critical, but somehow he entrusted the life of his son to a nurse,” asked Dr. Melvin.

“You can see it in my room, doctor. Please follow me,” doctor Edi said as he walked into his room.

After the two of them entered, Edi's doctor invited Melvin's doctor to sit down and hand him a copy of Aluna's medical. Doctor Melvin's face shuddered in horror because even with his high ability, he was not sure he could save Aluna's life.

"Here," he said stuck in his throat before shaking slowly.

With the condition of Hematothorax and already delayed to take action, the chance of Aluna to recover is very small. You could say only a miracle could save her.

Meanwhile, the emotions of Madam Kusuma burst out after hearing her son was being cared for by a man who turned out to be just a nurse.

“You really don't make sense, Rega! How could you take such a rash action just because by chance Chandra correctly diagnosed it once!?”

“Listen to me! Aluna's condition worsens every second! You think with conditions like this, what choice do I have?” Rega replied to his wife with anger.

Madam Kusuma was about to open her mouth to reply to Rega's words, but suddenly the door of the ICU room opened. Chandra looked out and walked up to the couple with a calm face.

“Tuan Rega, your daughter's current condition is stable. We just have to wait for the sign of the vital tools back to work properly. After that I can make sure, the critical times of your daughter are over,” explained Chandra with a small smile.

Hearing that, Rega and his wife fell silent, feeling relieved. Then, Madam Kusuma asked, “Can I see my daughter now?”

“Of course Madam, you can see it now. But I hope you stay calm when you meet him.” Chandra nodded in giving his approval.

The middle-aged woman rushed towards the ICU room. Before entering, do not forget he wears upholstery clothes as the standard of ICU room care.

Seeing her daughter lying helplessly made her heart as a mother crumble dimly. The cheerful face of Aluna who was everyday with him now looked pale white. His gaze dropped down, tracing the body parts of his daughter as if to make sure that his daughter was okay.

When his gaze arrived at that part of the body, his face froze instantly.

(How could there be so many needles stuck in there? This is definitely a hospital, not a traditional medicine clinic! Why are there so many needles in my son's body?) mind lady Kusuma.

Surprised and confused, madam Kusuma regained her emotions. He walked out of the room and quickly stepped closer to Chandra who was writing the examination report.

“Chandra! What did you do to my daughter? Why are there so many needles stuck in his body?” cecar madam Kusuma.

Chandra stopped his activities. He knows that no one believes in the ability of ‘Chandra’—sang the original owner of the body. He can accept that. But he felt heartache as well because his methods were questioned like that. He also tried to explain what had happened.

“Sorry before madam, I have absolutely no intention of adding to Miss Aluna's suffering. I actually helped him to stabilize faster with his condition that was very concerning. Because in addition to experiencing rib fractures with Hematothorax cases, Ms. Aluna also experienced Pericardial¹ Effusion. It is caused by a glass splinter that enters the blood vessels and moves to the brachiocephalic².” vein

Chandra tries to finish his explanation, but lady Rega cuts.

“You think I just believe in what you say!? You may have coincidentally saved my daughter's life, but that doesn't mean you can just as casually take such a terrible action! Unplug all those needles right now, or I'll make you regret it for life!”

Chandra took a long breath. It feels, he is starting to understand the feeling of ‘Chandra’ that no one else has ever trusted. Yes, however, he is now in the body of another ‘Chandra’.

Doctor Edi who happened to be a short distance away and listened to the conversation as if he had a fresh breeze to reverse his pride. Smiling cunningly, he walked up to the two people.

“You use traditional needle treatment!? What have you done, Chandra!? We do not live in the days of Majapahit! Get out of here before things get worse because of you!” scorn doctor Edi.

Chandra took a long breath. He realized he had lost. The two people who were in front of him had closed their ears tightly. So, he gave up on explaining and said, “Alright, I'll go as you wish. But I remind you: don't pull out any of those needles if you want Miss Aluna's condition to remain stable. If anything is uprooted, you will surely regret it!”

Chandra walked away.

Doctor Edi smiled triumphantly. He then turned to look at Madam Kusuma and said, “Mad, if you allow me will clear up this matter. You don't have to worry.”

“Alright, I let you sort this out, but I have to come with you. I have to make sure my daughter's condition is fine.” Madam Kusuma nodded.

“Good Mistress, you can follow me.” Doctor Edi answered with confidence.

Inside the room, doctor Edi was silent for a moment when he saw that there were so many needles stuck in Aluna's body. He had heard of the traditional Chinese medicine method, known as acupuncture. The method looks simple, but it has an amazing effect.

Acupuncture is a method of treatment using small needles that are inserted into several parts of the body at certain points that are the centers of nerves. This method could not be done by just anyone and had to go through years of training.

For a moment, Dr. Edi seemed to think. How could a Chandra Juandi master this notoriously complex method of traditional Chinese medicine?

But he didn't want to bother about it. All he had in mind right now was to save his good name in front of everyone.

Doctor Edi calmly pulled out the needles one by one. But, when he just pulled a few needles, suddenly the ECG monitor sounded, indicating a change in the patient's heart rate.

Aluna's heart rate is weakening.
