Aluna's Condition is Increasingly Critical

The people in the ICU were silent. It was as if they were watching a thrilling horror movie scene. How not, the condition of Aluna which was originally starting to stabilize is now back to critical.

“Doctor Edi, are you sure you can pull out those needles correctly?” snapped madam Kusuma.

For a moment, the expression on the face of Doctor Edi seemed to be thinking hard. He actually felt doubtful, because he did not have the slightest knowledge of acupuncture. But he also could not stop his actions and admit his weakness in front of Madam Kusuma, because it could destroy his reputation.

“Of course, madam. I can do it,” doctor Edi's answer looks sure.

When the other needles were removed, reality did not seem to be on Edi's side. Aluna's face grew pale, even now blood seemed to flow from the corner of her lips even a little.

Madam Kusuma who saw that increasingly panicked and ignited her emotions. His daughter's condition looks worse and he returns to scold doctor Edi,

“What are you doing!? Look, my daughter's face is getting pale even now her lips are bleeding out! Hurry up, get Dr. Melvin over here! You are not a becus!”

Eventually, Dr. Edi gave up. He knew, if he forced himself further, not only was his reputation as a doctor at stake but the lives of others as well. In a hurry he called doctor Melvin Sanjaya to help him.

Luckily, Melvin's doctor was in the hospital hallway not far from the ward where Aluna was being treated.

“Doctor Melvin, please help me! Aluna's condition is getting worse!” doctor Edi's pinta.

“Dangerous? How could? Didn't he say his condition had improved?” ask Dr. Melvin confused.

“The story is long, I will tell you later. But now, we are being time-hunted because Aluna's life can be lost at any time!”

“Alright, take me there!”

The two of them rushed to the room where Aluna was lying.

Once inside the room, Melvin's doctor is shocked to see Aluna's condition.

Not because the situation became critical, but because of the needle prick done by Chandra. Unlike other doctors and nurses at this hospital, Mevlin did not have any views on Chandra— being completely neutral.

However, he admitted that Chandra was not an indiscriminate person. Not only the modern medical science he mastered, but also alternative medical science that is classified as difficult to learn. The merging of these two sciences is a remarkable thing because if there is a slight error, then it can be fatal for patients.

Doctor Melvin felt that his knowledge was still nothing compared to Chandra who had been called a nurse. He said slowly, “Sorry madam, it looks like we need to call back Chandra.”

“What do you mean doctor Melvin?” ask lady Kusuma.

“After I examined, the case of Miss Aluna is very heavy and barely helped. However, Chandra managed to save Miss Aluna using a combination of modern and traditional medicine. Because even though miss Aluna is not medically helped, but traditional medicine techniques such as acupuncture can do it because it focuses on the nerves and energy in the person's own body.

“So you mean, only that man can save my daughter? The man who was only a nurse? You're joking doctor Melvin, that's definitely impossible! You who are too weak and dare not take the risk to save my daughter!” Mrs Kusuma was heard not to accept the explanation of Dr. Melvin.

“Sorry Madam, but that's the truth,” said Dr. Melvin with a heavy heart.

Sonya was standing in the hallway of the ward where Aluna was being treated. Although he was outside the room, but he could still hear the conversation of all of them. He felt that what Dr. Melvin was saying was a fact.

For some reason, since the incident in which her husband attempted suicide, everything in the man changed both from the way he spoke, behaved, and his ability in terms of work.

In the past, the Chandra Juandi he knew was nothing more than a clumsy man who was careless, insecure, and inclined to be defensive.

But after that incident, the figure seemed to disappear and not make a difference.

Chandra transformed into a figure that is so charismatic and confident. His masculine aura also seemed to radiate even though he was just silent. Yeah, Sonya realized that.

However, he also could not be rash to change his attitude towards Chandra. There is a price he has to pay.

In a sense, it was Sonya who had caused Chandra to decide to end her life. He—and his mother—make the man feel unappreciated, useless, and inferior.

So, of course the man is unlikely to forgive her just like that, right?

But what do you want to say? Rice has become a porridge. What happened cannot be repeated. There is only one way he can fix everything. Corrected her attitude all this time to her husband. Even if it means she has to face her own mother.

The sound of people running could be heard echoing along the hospital hallway. A man with a panicked face looks to be looking for someone. He chases with time and death, this time someone's life is at stake not in his hands but in the hands of others he must soon find.

Doctor Edi is looking for Chandra, who he had expelled. He found her, Chandra was standing in an open hallway overlooking the park.

In a hurry doctor Edi approached her, “Chandra, you should go as soon as possible to the room Miss Aluna treated. His condition is back critical.”

Without turning her face Chandra said coldly, “For what? Didn't you say you'd handle it well? Who me? I'm just a loser nurse who doesn't do anything. So why are you looking for me?”

“You... You are really stubborn! I have come and begged you, is that still not enough!?” snarled doctor Edi.
