Let It Go

Chandra breathed out slowly, his driving concentration slightly disturbed because he remembered Sonya's facial expression which was still moody since last night. 

It's not that he's not interested in sleeping in bed with Sonya but instead, he's afraid of losing control of himself. 

Sonya was obviously hurt by her refusal last night. Chandra chose to pretend not to realize it, because inside his head he had planned something. 

Arriving at the hospital where she works, Chandra rushes to Reza's ward. Today he plans to remove all of those needles. 

"Good morning Lisa, thank you so much for helping me keep an eye on Reza," Chandra put on her gloves as she would pull out all the needles. 

"Just like the doctor, Reza's condition from last night is very stable, there's nothing to worry about." Lisa gave a report. 

"Yes, and I hope it goes on. I'd like to take a few days off, if you need my help, you can call me right away. I'll also ask doctor Edy to keep an eye on Reza." 

"I can keep an eye on Reza doctor, I'm used to this. But if you think Edy's doctor is more qualified, that's fine" Lisa's tone implied disappointment. 

"No Lisa, it's not about being able or not being able. I need you for another job, I don't want you to be attacked by multiple parties because of this. You know what I mean?" 

"What exactly is a doctor? The results of yesterday's meeting seemed too confusing. Lady Sonya even urged me to tell her what really happened." Lisa looked at Chandra with a confused look. 

Chandra noticed Lisa's full gaze, but she couldn't tell her assistant. Notnot now. Although his current position was at the top, it did not mean that he could pitch calmly. There are many parties who still cannot accept his appointment as the main doctor. He realized that his current position was very dangerous. 

After checking the patient's heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation, Chandra starts removing the needles one by one starting at the safest point.

Sometimes he stopped for a while to see the reaction given by Reza.

Finished removing the needles, Chandra cleaned them all and threw all the equipment into a special trash can not far from there. Because it is very dangerous to dispose of needles that have been contaminated with blood of an ODHA carelessly. 

He was still examining some parts of Reza's vital organs when the patient suddenly opened his eyes. It is very much awaited by Chandra, because it means that the patient's condition is improving. 

"Good morning Reza, finally after all this time we can meet face to face," Chandra greeted his patients with a warm smile. 

The reaction given by the patient is only a weak nod. Then slowly the patient notices the surrounding conditions, before finally closing his eyes and falling asleep. 

"Lisa, it seems like my plans have changed. I need you to help Dr. Edy keep an eye on Reza while I'm not in the hospital. Give me a report regularly and also doctor Edy. Because it looks like the medicine we're putting in is working very effectively against Reza's body." Chandra looks happy. 

"Of course doctors, all of that is also thanks to the acupuncture method that doctors did last night. I'll give the doctor a regular report later, just finish the doctor's business. Let Reza be my business." Lisa sounded very happy because she had a reason to contact her boss.

"Sonya, are you asleep?" Chandra went into her bedroom and found her bedroom lights out. 

After waiting for Sonya's answer for a few moments that he did not get, Chandra chose to turn on the room lights with a dim setting. It was then that he saw Sonya curled up on her bed. 

Sonya, a woman he always admired from afar. I don't know what happened to his body, he just remembers trying to help a victim of an accident during an explosion. And when he woke up, he was trapped in this body. Unexpectedly, this body belonged to a man who turned out to be the husband of Sonya Wijaya. 

The woman who is always present in her dreams, after she is content to stare at Sonya's face from a distance as they accidentally meet on several occasions.

With her abilities, she manages to figure out Sonya's husband's past. 

With his chest, he accepted everything. By remaining calm like a Chandra Juandi who is only a nurse but, he is determined to change his fate. 

Chandra couldn't help but want to touch that soft face, as she saw the fallen brat covering Sonya's face. 

He tucked the boy's hair behind Sonya's ears as gently as possible so that Sonya wouldn't wake up.

Unfortunately, the opposite happens. 

Sonya opened her eyes, and looked at Chandra's face. The woman's gaze showed the most intense longing.

"Sorry, I woke you up." Chandra hasn't yet let go of her hand that's still on Sonya's head. She gently stroked Sonya's head. 

"What's wrong. You just got home?" Sonya felt very comfortable her head was stroked gently. 

"Yes, sorry .. I've been trying to get home sooner but it's still too late for you." 

"I slept faster. Have you eaten yet?" Sonya's drowning in Chandra's cradle. 

Chandra almost replied when suddenly, he remembered Sonya's gloomy face this morning because of her rejection last night. He then got up from his seat, and walked to pick up something from his bag that he had just placed on a long sofa. 

Sonya feels lost Chandra's pleasant cradle she gets up and sits on the bed. Her forehead frowned in confusion as Chandra handed her two sheets of envelopes. 

"What's this?" Sonya looked at Chandra, asking for an answer. 

"Open .... " Chandra returned to her seat. 

Impatiently following Chandra's orders, Sonya opened the envelope Chandra had given her and took out the contents. Sonya's eyes sparkled happily when she found out the contents. 

"I'm not dreaming, am I?" Sonya looked at Chandra with an unbearable joy. 

"No, tomorrow morning we leave. I've applied for leave in the next few days. We've never been on vacation, have we? Tomorrow, we're going on an adventure. Let go of all the restlessness of your heart, we're having fun." Chandra looked at Sonya's face filled with happy twinkle. 

Sonya reflexively advanced her body forward, and hugged Chandra warmly. He felt very happy, because Chandra finally wanted to give him the opportunity to enter the man's life further. 

Happy Sonya, you deserve it. I'm sorry for making you feel unwanted yesterday. I promise, from tomorrow I will let go of all my doubts. I will make you the happiest woman in the world. Chandra said in his heart.
