Chapter 12: A Siren

Ardhi stuffed his head into the water to check how far away the temple was that he wanted to go.

He could not see anything until he pulled his head back.

"There's no way, Risa we're counting on you."

"Fufu I will answer your hopes with all my strength sesu."

He created a magic circle as wide as a lake then dropped his fire magic right in the middle. Risa is good at using ice magic but as everyone suspects fire is more reliable at all times.

The water began to evaporate into the air and now leaves only the land of the former city filled with abandoned buildings.

Everyone nodded and then walked over to check on him, just like when fighting the Dark Knight, he said, the key guards were not creatures that could be underestimated and they asked what they would fight until a chant sounded.

"This song" Latifa used protective magic to banish the song.

"What did you just do?"

"I also don't know the obvious if we hear it we'll be hypnotized."

"Just like the singing of the Sirens desu."

"I praise you for knowing about my race."

The voice was heard from a woman who was sitting on top of the temple while holding a harfa. It has ears similar to fish fins, blue hair according to its eyes and fish-tailed.

On his neck hung a key made as a necklace.

"If you come here it's obvious you want this key, don't you."

"I'd be grateful if you'd willingly give it away."

"I was asked to protect this key obviously once I rejected it."

Mery prepared with his greatsword while his shield still hung on his back.

"It's very real nyan."

For Ardhi he knew that they were already excited. Risa and Latifa stared at each other in agreement and as the protectors disappeared they lunged forward.

The siren was about to sing but two more Ardhi swords darted in front of him until he swam in the air.

"A good anticipation, then how about this."

He plucked his harp and from there a giant whale made of water slid on them.

Ardhi asked everyone to split up when the right whale hit their previous location.

Mery slashed and it split it into two halves, like water, the whale's body fused back together and transformed itself into an octopus, each tantacle catches the whole girl and only Ardhi passes through it with a body shrouded in lightning.

"For the girls you guys just keep quiet in sina, this will be one on one, between me and the young man."

"Let me."

Before Risa let out a sound, her mouth was already stuffed with tentacles as well as the others so that they could not make a sound in the slightest.

The Siren lady floated low and turned her fish tail into a leg, while her body was enveloped in a canal dress.

"I didn't think that anyone would want to save Dewi Naya after everyone's memories had been erased, I can guess that you're from another world instead."

"True, hand over the key then we'll go."

"That's impossible, we were ordered by the goddess Herina to look after him, give it to you then we are the same as against him and obviously I will receive severe punishment from him."

"When Dewi Naya has saved this world, she should not have to be punished like that."

"Regardless of the results, breaking the rules is still against the rules. That's the law that must be enforced.if you continue to do this then it's likely that you will become the enemy of the goddesses."
