Chapter 64: The Monster Attack

Yuki decided to take the two into the meeting room.

"What's wrong with this town? Isn't this city supposed to be more crowded than it should be?" the word comes from Eren.

"Have you ever been here?"

"No, it's just that a city this big can't possibly be filled with so few people."

"I give praise to your sensibility, this city will soon be attacked by hordes of monsters because that's why they fled, because the nobles also left all orders transferred to me."

Eren put on a troubled face.

"A little girl taking over town?"

"More precisely for a while, despite my appearance like this I was older inside and also I was a top adventurer."

"And you, is it okay to go from your territory too far?"

"I want to contribute to this, if the land is ruled by a demon lord it is not strange that they attack my place as well."

Yuki opened the door and inside there her party members had been waiting. Roy sits down with his legs crossed, Tiffany folds her hands seriously while Yugo appears to be drinking.

Yumi introduced them all.

"This inn has been abandoned because that's what you like."

"So Eren-chan you're a hero, if so we're very helpful."

"You must be strong, fight with me."

Yumi immediately cut against Tiffany's words.

"It's not the right time to do that, Yugo stop drinking."

"I can't, maybe this is the last time I can drink."

"Bas stupid, we're not going to die," Yumi snapped at him before she sat down violently.

Gloria asked a little reluctantly.

"How many monsters are we going to fight?"

"A hundred thousand, that's a terrible amount to destroy a city."

"That is, if we fight blatantly we will be exhausted and die but Roy has already thought of an easier way to kill everything."

"We only intend to reduce their numbers with a trap."

"What kind of a trap is that?"

"We spray flammable materials around the forest, and when the monster hordes come in we'll burn them."

"You sacrificed the forest?"

"The forest is not comparable to humans, just think of it as a small sacrifice," Yumi replied casually.

"Actually we've thought of other ways but whatever it is we don't have time to do it, the safety of this city is more important" Roy added.

"Lt. um."

Tiffany just nodded her head, just then one soldier had barged in.

"They've come, Miss Yumi please order."

"You guys stay behind, let's use it first."

"Good."

They immediately rushed out of the city, in front of the troops who were ready with their weapons, Yumi had drawn something on her drawing paper.

It took out a white tiger, while Roy had lit a torch to give it to him.

Yumi directed her hand until the tiger just bit the torch and ran forward.

After a while the forest in front of them burned up quickly. The trapped monsters began to try to find a way out but it was in vain, in the end they burned with a death.

"Can this be resolved quickly?" ask Gloria.

"Of course not, I told you this only serves to reduce their number now the real thing."

The monsters decided to break through the fire, they used the monsters in front as shields until the monsters behind them could escape.

Yugo laughs.

"We're really going to die."

"It depends on your choice."
