Book 3: Surviving In Another World From Zero
Chapter 39: Settlement of Heroes

Marsya and Ardhi walked towards a fairly wide riverbank, next to which was a cave they used as a temporary rest.

Ardhi asks about the river path, if they pass through it will it reach a hero settlement.

"True, the settlement itself is on the banks of this river."

Hearing that Ardhi made a raft for a short time, they lit a fire and ate at night, and left before sunrise.

"Traveling like this is not bad" said Marsya, who plays with his tail.

"Are you able to use magic again?"

"It can't be, at least during the day I can go back to using it."

Dragons having a large mana is not strange if it takes that long.

"Master there's something ahead."

"That's a killer fish, I hear it tastes good. Let's catch some," Marsya said.

The fish itself has a shape resembling a piranha with a body five times larger and has a bright red color.

Marsya leapt into the water to catch them, which he raised one by one on a raft.

When many Marsyas have climbed back up and sat down while eating the fish raw.

"It's delicious, you want Ardhi?"

"What do these fish eat?"

"Anything, they sometimes eat humans too."

"I don't really want to eat it losing so."

"It's a shame it tastes good."

Blood filled Marsya's mouth and it looked terrible.

When the sun rose they finally arrived at the intended place, it was a settlement filled with dozens of houses with straw roofs and very sturdy wood, the inhabitants seemed to do the activity as it should be, as it should be, some were tidying up their daughters' hair, parents staring at the children playing and some looked like guards with spears and swords on their bodies.

All these people were mostly obviously descendants of heroes.

Several guards appear to swarm the figures of Ardhi and Marsya. They were not careless to let the disaster dragons roam their village.

"What do you two want?"

"You're a disaster dragon? Do you want revenge on the hero who beat you first."

"Of course not, even if you're a descendant I'm not so cowardly as to do so, you'd better watch the sword this man carries."

They were quite surprised.

"What is a real sword?"

"Then I'll show you."

Ardhi stuck out his sword and it created a chunk of ice that let out cold air into the air.

The kids are in a race to touch it.

"I think it's real, you put the gun down, and for the both of you to come with me. I'm sure Miss Sofia is waiting for you."

"Who is he?"

"He was the leader of the village and also the one who received the message from the hero before he died."

"Faith?"

"You'll know later."

Ardhi circled around the entire landscape of the surrounding village, he realized there was a statue of a hero there with his entire party of 10 people including Dryad inside.

No one knew about the hero sword that could transform into human form, which was why Yuki's figure was not in it.

"This is the place, come in."

"Good."

Ardhi and Marsya enter a house at the very end of the village, where it is filled with a woman wearing a common diviner's clothes and carrying a crystal ball in her hand.

He smiled from behind the thin cloth that covered his mouth.

"You have finally arrived, I have been waiting for you for a long time, O hero who will save the world."

"Are you talking about the divination that's spread in every kingdom?"

"Actually I was the one who made it," he replied lightly.
