Book 3: Surviving In Another World From Zero
Chapter 56: Last Floor 15

If this is a labyrinth there is always the last boss, through that thought Ardhi stopped everyone's steps.

Yuki in sword form finally woke up.

"It's morning."

"At a time like this he sleeps well, then what's up until we're stopped nyan."

"Look carefully at the skull."

"It's scary desu."

Mery had put on a watchful posture with Marsya, just then the collection of skulls began to fly to form itself as if alive except without flesh and skin.

"Are you all trying to fight, come on it doesn't matter if on the last floor there's no boss to beat after all after being trapped here where I've run out for this labyrinth."

The skull spoke with a quick accent.

"Could you be the owner of the labyrinth?"

"Right, I'm glad someone came here so I can hand over the rights to this dungeon or the Labyrinth to him and I can die peacefully."

Ardhi felt it best to ask his partner to lower his vigilance, but only a little in case the skull in front of them began to attack.

"My name is Niss, I'm a wizard known to be a genius in his era. Unlike the heroes I chose the path that makes humans and monsters coexist."

"You know heroes?"

"Of course we're in one village, he's most likely dead but I'm sure the world he's sheltering will always be awake."

With the existence of Ardhi as a successor, the possibility is not zero. Ardhi thought everything that happened was absolutely right.

He had the legacy of the hero before and now it was most likely that he would have the legacy of his friend.

Except Ardhi everyone has stopped through time magic.

"Do you really need to freeze them?"

"Oh yeah, I don't like a lot of people knowing about me."

Ardhi tilted his head as he turned his gaze towards the rock that brought up a screen and displayed the image of two children sitting next to each other on a height.

"One is the hero and the other is me."

Niss pointed to himself who was a child smaller than the hero and always hugged the book in his arms.

"Once again you're beaten up by people, what did you tell them?" word hero.

"I'm just saying monsters aren't bad, there are monsters that can understand each other with humans."

The little hero laughed.

"That's impossible."

"There may be, we just haven't found it yet."

"We are followers of Dewi Naya, the goddess will be sad if you know that you chose monsters."

"I'm sure he'll understand."

"Well, to test what you're saying is true, let's get out of the village when we grow up, we can learn to fight and then we'll wade down a different path than anyone else in this village."

"Vizel don't tell me?"

"True, we'll wade through the path of an adventurer."

Ardhi glanced back at Niss.

"We trained for a very long time and at the age of 15 we traveled and became an adventurer in the labyrinth city, we kept on doing missions. I've talked to a lot of monsters but it didn't work out, when five years passed my friend was appointed a hero for his services and he formed his Harem group and I saw you carry his sword."

"Ah yes."

"Did he make you bother?"

"Nor is Yuki-onna very good and reliable."

"Ah so, she must have liked you until she showed her form."

Ardhi began to notice.

"You know about Yuki?"

"Of course, because I got the sword myself and gave it to the hero."

"Maybe the hero should be you."

"Truely, the one chosen by the goddess was not Vizel but me. I happened to be reincarnated as a child."
