Chapter 10: Explosives
"Date's known Emu since college!" Shinosuke's rebut made everyone in the room glare in disbelief. Since college? How could?
"How can you?" haima was surprised by what Shinosuke said.
"We better talk somewhere else, Director. Maybe a more private place." haggled Shinosuke while showing the files he was carrying in his bag.
"Well if it's like that! Let's just head to my room." Haima invites Shinosuke to her room followed by other CR members.
"Ah, Poppy, Nico! You better stay here and look after Emu!" haima stopped the steps of the two of them.
"Just calm down there won't be anything. There were two policemen standing guard in front of this room anyway." added Shinosuke smiling to Poppy and Nico who looked disappointed that they were not allowed to hear the investigation that had been conducted by Shinosuke.
The six of them followed Haima to her room which was one floor above the room where Emu was being treated. As soon as they entered the room Shinosuke shared files with them regarding the results of the investigation.
"As far as you know, this investigation file is actually a secret but I'm making an exception for you because I know you want to know what kind of human Date is." Said Shinosuke in a serious tone.
"Date and Emu graduated from the same university just their different graduating years." Shinosuke said starting an explanation about Date and Emu's relationship.
"Date passed first. They were two years away from graduation. At least that's the information we got." Said Shinosuke while showing a file containing information about Date's education.
"The thing that led us to conclude that Date knew Emu first was that we found a secret room in Date's apartment that contained a collection of photos he printed." Shinosuke shows a photo of Date's secret room that is almost all of Emu's photos.
"Damn it! The fact that**** has been targeting Emu for a long time!" Bumpat Hiiro after seeing a photo of the room.
Shinosuke opens his laptop and reveals that Date has been watching Emu for years. The photographs of Emu found numbered in the tens of thousands and had been seized by the police as evidence. They stare in disbelief, all of Emu's activities are immortalized by Date in detail. Even everything is laid out in an organized manner based on the date, month and year. It seems like Date's obsession with Emu has crossed a reasonable line.
"Date has learned everything about Emu in detail. About his life, his favorite things and all his activities. After she learned it well she decided to approach Emu directly, therefore she immediately applied for a job at Seito Hospital when vacancies were available." Shinosuke explained.
"God! **** this is absolutely crazy!" Kuroto said when looking at the details of the photos taken by the police about the evidence they seized.
"One more thing turns out Date is not a pediatrician. He is a surgeon just like Hiiro. But he falsified his data assisted by one of the publicists in this hospital. It just so happened that today another police officer had picked up the man for questioning." Shinosuke's statement made Haima wide-eyed and surprised instead of playing.
"FALSIFYING DATA YOU SAID?!" Haima's voice rose and looked very angry.
"Oh, this can't be allowed! How dare they deceive me! It's only fitting that Date's data is handed to me! They say that no doctor has applied for a Pediatric job other than Date!" haima said he was angry and did not believe what the hospital public relations staff did to him.
"Didn't you check twice when you received the data?" Hiiro said that he was very shocked to hear that public relations staff were involved in falsifying data from Date.
"No! I foolishly believe them!" haima said she was sorry for the decision she had made.
"It's the Director, we can't change what has happened. But in the future we have to be more selective in accepting prospective Doctors, Nurses and staff at this hospital." Kiriya's advice at once tried to calm Haima who looked so sorry.
"You too will give me a warning! Date is a very dangerous man. He is not only an expert in martial arts. He is also an expert in using firearms and has permission to use them. So you guys need to be careful!" Shinosuke gives a warning to the other CR members.
"In addition to that information, have the police found Date's location now?" Hiiro asked with a serious face to Shinosuke.
"Date's last information was seen around Seito Pier but for a definite location still do not know. Because the informants who find out always lose track." Shinosuke.
"So we have to start combing the pier area to find that jerk!" Kiriya said while throwing the file given by Shinosuke at the table in front of him. His face looked very lazy to look at the files regarding Date.
"To be faster maybe we should split up and form a team." Said Shinosuke which made the CR members glance at each other worriedly. There's no way they're involving Shinosuke in the revenge mission they're planning. Shinosuke is a police detective. He couldn't possibly agree on their way of subduing Date.
"How's this Pallad?" kuroto whispered softly to Pallad who understood the meaning of Kuroto about Shinosuke.
"I don't know! If he's on Date's quest, our plan will be broken!" Pallad whispered softly and glanced at Shinosuke who was still talking to Haima about the demands to be dropped to the staff who had helped Date.
DUARR!!
Suddenly there was a loud explosion from outside the hospital. Haima and the six others felt a shock strong enough to make them waver. Unknowingly they had been in the prone position by holding their heads.
"W-what is this?!" Haima asked with a sigh of excitement, her heart racing after hearing the sound of a loud explosion.
Shinosuke, Hiiro and Taiga immediately approached Haima who looked shocked and helped her up. Kiriya, Pallad and Kuroto immediately ran towards the direction of the stairs to see the real situation. Seemed to be burning in the hospital. People are running trying to find shelter. The hospital is trying its best to calm the patients and their families and help them find safety.
Shinosuke contacted the police and informed them of the explosion at Seito Hospital after they saw that one of the ambulances parked to the east of the hospital had suddenly exploded. Taiga, Hiiro and Kiriya immediately helped evacuate some of the affected victims from the blast. Pallad and Kuroto follow Shinosuke who secures the location so that no one gets close to the scene of the explosion until the police arrive.

Poppy and Nico are seen looking down near Emu's sleeping bed. The explosion left them half dead.
"Ne, we're okay!" Nico replied firmly but did not cover his face that looked frightened.
"What's the matter exactly?" poppy asked the two police officers who were busy talking to the communication tool they were using.
"Bombs blew up one of the ambulances in the hospital. The police on their way here." Answer one of the police officers who was typing something on his phone.
Poppy and Nico approach Emu's bed and check on Emu, who appears to be asleep despite a loud explosion outside the hospital.
BRACKET!
Suddenly the door of the room was slammed violently by a large man wearing a doctor's suit.
"Pardon us, but on the Director's order we have to move Houjou-sensei immediately!" The man and the two other men brought wheelchairs and approached Emu who was still unconscious.
"You who? I've never seen you in this hospital?!" poppy asked suspiciously and blocked their way to Emu.
The three men were just silent glancing at each other. They did not answer Poppy's question and continued to step forward towards Emu. The two policemen who saw the suspicious behavior of the three men then approached them and grabbed the shoulders of one of the men wearing a doctor's cloak.
"You didn't answer per-" Uncompleted one of the police officers spoke to the man who was held on his shoulder by the policeman and then kicked the policeman's stomach tight.
The policeman fell hard on the floor, causing his partner to pull his gun towards the three men, but the police movement was too slow, one of the shortest men kicked the policeman in the hand and dropped the gun held by the policeman. The two men in doctor suits quickly injected something into the necks of the two policemen and rendered them unconscious on the floor.
Poppy picks up her phone and attempts to contact Hiiro but her hand is pulled roughly by one of the men. The man then tied Poppy and Nico and smothered their mouths together. The three men then pushed the two of them onto the sofa and let them rebel helplessly there.
"Target found. Towards the next location." The big guy who looks like a leader to both of them is talking to his communication tools.
A second later they removed the infusion in Emu's hand and carefully moved Emu to the wheelchair they were carrying. The helpless Poppy and Nico could only rebel and cry seeing the three men taking Emu away.
The three men quickly moved out toward the parking lot of the Seito Hospital building. They put an unconscious Emu in the back of the van. They then removed the doctor's suit they were wearing and dumped it in a nearby garbage can.
"Wait aba-aba!" The big man immediately got into the van with his two men as soon as the police started arriving at Seito Hospital.
They put on a watchful face. The big man carried a small remote in his hand and grasped it slowly so as not to squeeze anything out prematurely. One of the men drove the car slowly towards the exit bar of the Seito hospital parking lot that had been guarded by police. As soon as the officers wanted to check the van they were driving, the big man pressed the remote button he was holding quietly and there was another explosion that destroyed one of the cars in the parking lot. When everyone was distracted by the explosion, the man driving the van struck gas and broke through the barrier in front of them and destroyed it.
The police panicked and immediately reported the incident and asked for help in the pursuit of the van they suspected was the cause of the explosion at Seito Hospital. What the police did not know, it turned out that the van was also a distraction for the police. One block from the hospital, the van went into a garage. Inside the garage was waiting for someone to talk to them through a communication device.
The three men got out of the van in a hurry and immediately pulled Emu out of the van. They immediately replaced their car with two jet black sedans. The man approached them and smiled with satisfaction. Then he immediately took Emu with him to one of the sedan cars he had provided. The other two men riding one of the sedans left first followed by the biggest man who became the rider for the man who carried Emu into the car. They left before the police found them with the van they were using.
Their journey was pretty smooth. Police only intercepted the van, suspected of being the vehicle used to blow up the hospital. They drive quietly and then arrive at an unused warehouse in a hidden dock area. The three men immediately combed the warehouse area to check if there were any intruders or other suspicious things. The man leading the mission led Emu into the warehouse and led her to the prepared room. Slowly the man placed Emu who was still unconscious and weak on the bed that had been provided by him. She looked at Emu deeply and then kissed Emu's pale lips while stroking Emu's dark mane.
"I told you! You won't get away from me, baby! You only belong to Date once and for all!" date said triumphantly and once again kissed Emu's lips deeper and hugged her tightly.
