Breathless
Chapter 5: Broken Wings

"Houjou-sensei!" Emu turned her head when someone called out to her as she was about to return to her room after checking up on some of her small patients.

"Aci-san! What's up?" emu asked smilingly to see Airi running calling until she gasps.

"It! There's a delivery for you!" Airi gives Emu's favorite Lily bouquet and a white ribbon letter to her.

"From who?" Emu asked Airi again.

"People still ask the sender anyway? Of course the Prince of your heart!" Tempting Airi while winking at Emu made Emu feel the heat on her face.

"Ah, Airi-san~~! don't tease me like that!" Emu pursed her lips to Airi as her teasing continued to be met with a small laugh from Airi.

"Alright, Arigatou has already bothered to bring it! See you later!" Finally he left and left Airi for his room.

Emu smiles at the bouquet of Lily flowers that Date sent her. Emu walked over while reading the message that Date made for her.

***Not felt like it has been 4 months of this relationship we have lived joyfully. There is never a tiring day to say I love you so much and miss you so much. For you the most beautiful flower I have ever had, I will continue to take care of you and make you always happy beside me. I LOVE YOU

Emu chuckles at the message Date made for her. I don't know why during these 4 months time goes so fast. Date can always make her smile with her romantic attitude. Always support her when she is tired and needs a shoulder to lean on. Pay attention to the little things and much more. Emu felt his soul had been replenished, his wound slowly but surely beginning to heal. As if she were now the happiest woman in the world. 

Emu opened the door of her room and suddenly a hand pulled her against the wall and locked the room.

"Date-san is! You just surprised me!" Reprimand Emu while pinching the cheek of the lover of heart.

Date laughs amusedly as Emu pinches her affectionate cheek. He replied to her by pinching Emu's nose gently then turning his gaze towards the bouquet of flowers held by Emu.

"Have received it? Hows it? Does sweet lady like it?" Ask Date while taking a bouquet of flowers Emu held and throwing them on Emu's table.

"Date-san~~! Why was the flower thrown?! What if it breaks?!" Emu pursed her lips in annoyance.

Date gave a small laugh then he grabbed Emu's waist and hugged her.

"If the flowers don't come to the table, they're broken when the sweet lady holds them!?" date replied while staring at Emu's sulking cute face. 

"Indeed mapphmmm" did not finish Emu finish her sentence Date's lips have freely pulverized Emu's pink lips.  Date encourages Emu to be pressed against the wall and further explore Emu's full and ripe lips. Emu wrapped her hands around Date's neck and replied to Date's passionate kiss. 

"Mphm Da-date-san! Nan-later a-there ya-who look" said Emu stammered because Date did not want to let go of his kiss.

Date stopped his kiss and looked at Emu enthusiastically.

"Just calm! I locked the door!" Date resumed the stopped kissing session. Date began to kiss Emu's neck aggressively, let alone Emu let out a small moaning sound that he thought was very cute but also sexy to hear. 

Emu's face flushed red with the heat created made Date lose control of her even more. Date pulled the doctor robe Emu was wearing and threw it roughly. His hand pulled Emu's hip and carried her towards the desk and sat Emu on it. Emu's breathing grew even more breathless, yet she slowly tried to control herself.

"Mph, Date-san! Shiftku is not finished. If someone is looking for how?" Emu said trying to resist Date's desire to do more that night.

Date still kisses Emu's neck and shoulders not stopping and pretending not to listen to Emu speak. 

Emu tries to stay conscious and not lose control even though Date is increasingly aggressively exploring Emu's slender body. As soon as Date tried to disarm the clothes Emu was wearing, Emu held Date's hand and shook her head.

"I beg Date-san. I'm not ready!" Emu said with a regretful face pleading with Date.

"Oh, come on Emu-chan!" Erang Date looked disappointed. All this time Emu never wanted to have physical relationships other than kissing. Emu felt she was still not ready for that stage and had often refused if Date wanted more. 

"Gommenne, Date-san! I'm not really ready!" Emu apologizes back to Date who looks annoyed to him. 

Date breathed a long and heavy sigh. Suddenly he left Emu's room without saying a word. The feeling of disappointment was clearly visible on his face. Emu, who saw Date leave, just left her, feeling hurt. For 4 months of love, every Emu refused to do more Date always understood. But why does he look so angry now?

Emu immediately tidied up her clothes and tidied up her desk. When looking at the bouquet of flowers and the letter that Date gave there was a sick feeling this time. Disappointed with the attitude of Date who did not want to understand him and disappointed because Date was not as mature as his mind.

When you finish cleaning the room. Emu takes the phone and sends a message to Date.

***gommenne has ruined your mood. Please understand.

A few minutes without getting an answer from Date, Emu decided not to think about it too much. Just let him calm down first after that he will invite Date to talk from heart to heart. Emu takes her I-Pad and looks at the list of patients she has to check tonight and starts her job again.

At 03:00 am Shift Emu is over. Emu walks to the parking lot where Date used to drop her off and pick her up. The parking lot looks deserted and Date is not seen picking her up. Emu let out a long sigh, it seemed like Date this time was really angry with him and started ignoring him. 

"Your?" it sounded someone calling her which made Emu flinch in shock. Not because Emu is afraid of ghosts or other supernatural objects. It was just that the voice of the person he had barely heard again for almost 7 months. Emu looked over and sure enough the owner of the voice turned out

"Hiiro-san?" Emu looked nervous when she saw Hiiro appear and greeted her.

"Wanna go home?" hiiro asked as he approached Emu who was unable to move.

"Ehm, Yes. I just got home!"

"Can I drive you? It's not good for women to go home alone!" Hiiro said again that makes Emu more upset.

"Arigatou Hiiro-san! But I can go home by myself. It's okay!" Emu took a breath and turned around to leave Hiiro.

"Wait on! Please, let me take you home!" Emu turned her head as Hiiro's hand held her back to leave. His eyes widened, surprised by Hiiro's attitude towards him. 

Whatdoes thatmean?

"Really Hiiro-san! I can go home by myself. Don't worry about me!" emu replied while trying to take her hand off Hiiro. But instead of being released, Hiiro's grip gets stronger and finally Hiiro pulls Emu in his arms.

"What do you mean Hiiro-san! Please let me go!" Emu thrashed and tried to let go of Hiiro's hug but Hiiro was unwilling to let go. Emu sobbed feeling hurt. 

After a long time he struggled to forget Hiiro. Why did he come again and destroy all his defenses.

"Emu Gommenne! I hurt you!" Hiiro hugged Emu tightly.

"What is all this for Hiiro-san? Are you trying to play with my heart? You went and came just like that and didn't realize the trail of the wound you inflicted on me? Did you realize?" Isak Emu tried to encourage Hiiro to stop hugging him.

"You're evil Hiiro-san! Now let go of me!" Emu's emotions are mounting. He felt Hiiro was just trying to play with his feelings.

"No! I don't want to let you go this time!" said Hiiro with shiny eyes. Hiiro kisses Emu's lips quickly without being rejected by Emu. Emu flinched and pushed Hiiro with all her might making them fall to the ground.

Hiiro looked at Emu with a huffed face. He himself could not believe what he was doing to Emu at this moment. 

"Emu Gommenne! Seeing you with another man hurt my feelings! I don't know why either! I just feel stupid because my feelings for you are more than just an ordinary friend. Let's say I'm the dumbest man in the world because I'm late in realizing that you're the most precious woman to me!" hiiro said he raised his voice because it was frustrating to have to admit everything to Emu.

Emu fell silent and lowered her head. Hiiro is evil to him. Why did she confess her feelings when Emu had almost forgotten her. Why did he so easily come and open the door of Emu's love that had been locked tightly for her. Wh why?

"Don't you bother my girlfriend DOCTOR ASSHOLE!!!!" Date comes over to Hiiro and tries to hit him, Emu runs fast and tries to hold Date by hugging him.

"Tell Date-san! Don't hurt Hiiro-san!" Pinta Emu while crying. Date stopped his punch towards Hiiro.

"Once again I see you approaching Emu, I'll kill you! Camden It!" 

"And you! I told you you were mine! I won't let another man touch you!" Date eyes glistening wildly. He threatens Hiiro and begins to act rudely to Emu. He pulls Emu away from Hiiro who looks angry to see Date treating Emu harshly.

"Date-san is! It hurts! Release my hand! I can walk on my own!" Emu complained to Date who pulled her hand violently.

 Emu could feel her wrists being squeezed because Date was too strong to hold them. Date ignored him even more firmly grasping the small hand of Emu. Arriving in the car, Date thrust Emu into the car violently and closed the door of his car tightly leaving Emu shocked and frightened.

Emu grimaced holding her wrist . Date's hand grips really hurt Emu's wrist. Date didn't care about it, even Date got angrier as Emu complained of pain.

"You! I will punish you because you have tried to betray me!" snapping Date to Emu.

Emu can't believe what she saw! Where was the once romantic and meek Date? Where is Date who always smiles and gives her warmth every time you have trouble? Where's Date who always protects her every time she feels weak. Emu looked at Date like she no longer knew her lover.

Date spurred the car fast, making Emu scared to death. Emu pleads with Date to slow down the speed of his car but the more Emu pleads, the faster Date drives his vehicle. Emu finally gave up and simply closed her eyes with both hands and held her breath as Date drove her vehicle violently.

Date takes Emu to his apartment. Roughly withdrawing his hand and throwing it into Date's bedroom bed. 

"Shout as loud as you can, no one will hear you bitch!!!" Emu flinched when Date called her a bitch.

In Emu's entire life, no one had ever called her with such harsh words. Even her parents who dumped her never spoke like that.

"Woman bitch? Is it that easy to say I'm like that Date-san?! You think I'm a cheap woman?!" Emu's emotions are ignited because of Date's words. She couldn't accept that Date called her a bitch.

"I don't like you putting me on as a bitch! I want to go home now!" Emu walks towards the door of the room but Date blocks her.

"Tonight you're not going anywhere! I said you were mine! So I'm gonna make you all mine!" Date's voice was getting heavier and darker. 

Date pushed Emu to the floor. Then violently tie Emu's hands and feet with the rope he had prepared. 

"Da-date-san, I beg you! Unhand me!" Emu sobbed and was terrified. What Date wanted to do to him.

"Continue begging! But I won't give you mercy tonight!" Date stared intently at Emu and carried her to the bed.

Emu's body trembled in fear. She cries and begs Date to let her go. But Date didn't want to hear it. Suddenly Date slapped Emu hard making the corner of Emu's lips hurt. It did not stop there that Date began to strip all the clothes Emu was wearing to expose Emu's entire white and slender body.

With wild eyes Date kissed all parts of Emu's body violently. Emu could only moan in pain because as long as Date kissed her she also grabbed Emu's hair and didn't want to hit Emu's body parts. Emu could only cry and scream begging Date to stop her inhuman treatment. But nil, Date increasingly treat Emu like a doll gratifying lust only. This morning Date's room witnesses how ruthless Date took Emu's honor as a girl and witnesses how late Emu learned of Date's true nature.

Emu woke up in chaos. The dawn had caused a profound trauma on him. He covered his body with a blanket stained with his blood. Emu cowering in fear. He just wants to go home now. He doesn't want to be in this place. He doesn't want to see Date anymore. 

The door opened, leaving Emu shocked and hiding behind a blanket. Date came with a tray filled with food and a P3k box. He took off the blanket Emu was wearing covering his body and found Emu trembling withstanding the cries. When Date approached him Emu painstakingly brushed off his hand and nibbled at the pillow of fear. Date let out a heavy sigh and then grabbed Emu into his embrace. Emu thrashed but she no longer had any energy. In addition, the hugging this time was different from the dawn hug earlier. Hugging Date this time is like a familiar hug. Warm and soothing.

"I'm sorry for my attitude, Emu-chan! I really regret it! I shouldn't have gotten out of control like that! I'm just afraid you left me Emu-chan! I can't stand it!" Say Date apologizes to Emu.

Emu can't talk anything. He's just sobbing in Date's arms. He was too tired to talk and argue. His voice hurt from shouting continuously. He just wanted to go home and sleep in his own room instead of in the room that made him feel extreme pain.

"I-I-I want to go home!" emu's great-grandson was barely audible.

"I'll take you home, baby! But before that let's clean yourself up first and treat you!" Date said, holding Emu to the bathroom and helping her clean up. 

After cleansing yourself Emu looks like a soulless human being. He simply fell silent and let Date treat the injuries he had sustained. Although occasionally seen fine grains of tears dripping from the corner of his eyes.

"It's better that we don't see each other again for a while, Date-san!" said Emu expressionlessly.

Date hugged Emu's body and cried, Emu did not show any emotion on her face. Only tears flowing endlessly adorned his cheeks.

"I beg Emu-chan! I won't repeat it again! I really love you and I'm afraid of losing you! Please give me a chance." Isak Date hugged emu tightly.

"Do you really love me, Date-san? Or am I just a puppet to you that you can treat at will ?" emu lirih.

"Truly I love you Emu-chan! No woman can shake my heart just you!" 

"If you want to leave me I'll kill myself!" Say Date while taking a box in his closet that turns out to contain a revolver that makes Emu panic.

Date pointed the gun at his temple in front of Emu.

"I'm not messing with Emu-chan! I love you and I don't want to lose you! If you leave me maybe I'd better kill myself!" Date stared intently at Emu who was frightened to see that Date had a firearm. 

"All right! I'm not leaving you! but on condition!" Emu said desperately.

"What's the condition?" Say Date excitedly.

"Never repeat what you did to me and keep that gun away from you!" Finally Emu put forward the conditions that were answered nod by Date.

Date hugs Emu again and says a word of love to her. For now Emu can only hope that Date can change and return to the Date she knew before. But Emu did not know that this had just been the beginning of tragedy in his life.
