You Can't Manage My Life

Ten calls, twelve voicemails, and thirty short messages are proof of Bryan's attempt to contact Laura the next day. Yesterday, though, she didn't get to contact Laura because she was having fun with a woman she accidentally met while she was having dinner with her colleague at a five-star hotel a few days ago. And today Bryan had time to contact Laura.

“Sial! Damnit damnit! Shit!”

The man continued to curse from earlier because Laura had no news. The girl did not even respond to Bryan's contact. As if to disappear, Laura even deactivated her phone.

Gts ... Gts ... Gts ....

The sound of knocking on the door made Bryan raise his head, then said, “Log in.”

A female secretary walks into Bryan's study while carrying a few piles of documents that Bryan has to check.

“This is the documents you requested, Sir,” he said as he placed a pile of documents on Bryan's desk. “Oh, yes. Thirty minutes more you have a meeting with peru—”

“Cancel,” said Bryan, cutting off his secretary's speech.

“Sorry, Sir?” bryan's secretary asked, feeling that he had misheard.

“Cancel that meeting and all meetings for today. I have personal business,” said Bryan who was directly obeyed by his secretary.

“Good, Sir. I'll reschedule your meeting. Is there anything else you want to order, Sir?”

“That's it.”

Secretary Bryan nodded then permission to leave Bryan's study.

While Bryan who could not concentrate on working today immediately grabbed his car keys and walked out of his company building. The man won't be able to focus on working before he gets word from Laura.

Bryan was confused with himself. He never thought about women. But, why did her mind feel like it had to keep thinking about Laura for a second that Laura did not respond to her call?

Oh, and don't forget that the reason Bryan left with another woman yesterday is his way of venting his desires because Laura is now indifferent to their relationship. His mind was completely muddled every time Laura and himself clashed. I don't know what Laura has done to her, which is clear Bryan always felt like getting in touch with the girl.

"Dam. You're really making my life unsettled, Laura. How do I handle you? Why is it so hard to make you bow to me" Bryan muttered annoyedly.

Bryan drove his car to Secret Garden. He wanted to find Laura there because it was the only place Bryan had in mind at the moment.

“I want to find Laura,” said Bryan without further ado.

“Laura? He's off today,” said Lola.

“Libur?” Bryan frowned. If Laura's off, why doesn't Bryan know about it?

“Iya. Today Laura went on vacation with Reyna and Dario. I don't know, anyway, where they're going. But, they took the same off schedule because they wanted to go somewhere,” Lola replied honestly without Bryan asking where Laura was.

Bryan nodded his head. “Alright, thank you,” he said then walked out of Secret Garden.

How dare she go with another man when she became my woman. Bryan's growl.

On the other hand, Laura who had just finished playing paintball with Dario and Reyna was currently resting under a shady tree. Sweat soaked their bodies because the game they did earlier really made them feel exhausted.

“Laura, Reyna, I'll take a drink for the three of us. You wait here for a moment,” said Dario nagged by both.

Shortly after, Reyna stood up. “If Dario has come, tell me I went to the toilet for a while,” Reyna said before Laura asked.

"Well, don't take too long" Laura said.

Laura sat down by herself.

Not wanting to get tired of waiting alone, Laura decided to pick up her phone and turn on it. She accidentally turns off her phone so that no one bothers her especially Bryan, the man who makes her feel bad.

Laura's eyes were perfectly rounded as she looked at the short message Bryan had sent. Until finally he read the last short message sent by Bryan and he felt increasingly fed up with the uncertain relationship they both had.

[Never be close to another man. I don't like my women going out with other men.]

"He wants to rule my life. It's not that easy, Bryan. You can't manage my life. Who are you that I must obey a man who cannot even be loyal to me. I told you, I'm going to follow your game" Laura muttered not one bit afraid of Bryan's threat.
