Pick up Laura

This day, Laura was feeling very nervous. The girl was anxious because this morning Bryan said he would pick up Laura after work. Laura thinks that Bryan won't pick her up, but somehow Laura also hopes that Bryan will pick her up.

Honestly, Laura was afraid that she would fall into Bryan's trap. Currently, Laura is trying to focus on living a better life for her future. He was afraid that Bryan's presence in his life would make him forget the purpose of moving to Barcelona.

‘Laura, you better stop thinking about Bryan and focus on working,’ Laura told herself.

“Laura, why have you been so quiet all day?” ask Reyna in surprise. This day she looked at Laura and found that Laura was much more reserved than usual.

“Ah, no. I'm just—”

“Laura, someone's looking for you!” laura exclaimed from afar, cutting out Laura's sentence.

Laura gives the code to Reyna if she will go ahead first to see who is looking for her. Thinking of Bryan coming to look for her made Laura feel her heartbeat beating twice as fast as usual. Cold sweat began to wet the girl's hands and made her have to repeatedly swallow saliva due to nervousness.

Laura's steps came to a halt when she saw who was chatting and greeting Lola at this moment. Again the girl swallowed her saliva in a huff before walking over to them.

“Bryan? What are you here for?” ask Laura.

“Didn't I say I'd pick you up this morning?” ask Bryan. The man turned his head towards Lola. “Lola, Laura's working hours are done, right?”

Lola clumsily replied, “Laura's working hours will be over in ten minutes. But, if you want to take Laura away, I don't mind if she comes home ten minutes early.”

The middle-aged woman wondered what was going on between Laura and Bryan. But, he chose to be quiet because he did not want to offend Bryan.

“Jadi ...” Bryan hung up his sentence.

“I'll get ready first,” said Laura then excuse me. He removed the apron and took his bag. Don't forget he also said goodbye to Lola and Reyna.

Laura nervously sat down beside Bryan while Bryan smiled in anguish when he noticed this. Bryan did not immediately invite Laura to go to the place he had prepared. Instead, the man drove Laura home first to get ready.

“This what?” laura asked as Bryan thrust a paper bag at her shortly after Bryan parked his car in front of her apartment building.

“Gaun for you to wear tonight,” said Bryan.

"I still have my own clothes I can wear. You don't have to do this" Laura refused.

Laura received the paper bag. “Thank you,” he said smiling.

"Be prepared! I'll be waiting for you!" bryan, said Laura.

Laura and Bryan enter Laura's apartment. While Laura bathed and changed clothes, Bryan noticed every corner of the modest apartment that Laura lived in. The man felt confused when he found some luxury items in the simple apartment. Even when looking at the bags and shoes on the shelves, Bryan could tell that the price of the items was fantastic.

‘Where did Laura get these things?’ bryan asked inwardly starting to wonder.

Laura's stuff wasn't much, but it was pretty classy. Bryan thought that what was in Laura's apartment really described Laura working hard in a flower shop even though she looked like a very classy woman.

'Who are you, Laura?' bryan was silent and daydreamed staring at a painting similar to Laura.

“How do I look?” laura asked, making Bryan realize that Laura was done getting ready and getting dressed.

Bryan's eyes sparkled when he found Laura's appearance was very stunning. Laura even looked very beautiful with a simple makeup. It really fascinated Bryan with her elegant beauty.

“You are so beautiful, Laura,” said Bryan, staring at Laura in awe.

“Thank you, Bryan.”

“We leave now?” bryan asked, extending his hand.

Laura nodded her head and accepted Bryan's hand. They left Laura's apartment.

Bryan invites Laura to dinner at a five-star restaurant overlooking the waterfront. Bryan even deliberately rented one restaurant just for the two of them and asked the waiter to decorate it as romantic as possible.

“Bryan, how did you know that this was my favorite meal?” asked Laura in admiration.

“I will definitely do anything to make the girl I'm having dinner with happy, Laura,” Bryan replied smilingly, but removing the smile on Laura's pretty face.

She must be used to things like this, Laura. Don't be a cheap woman. Inner Laura kept reminding herself.
