Interested in Laura

Despite feeling uncomfortable with Bryan's gaze as if he was skinning her at the moment, Laura continued to work professionally. The girl chose to shy away from Bryan's gaze so as not to feel any more nervous.

In Laura's entire life, there had never been a single man who looked at her like that. Even the men in the past who wanted to make Laura as a boyfriend, no one looked at Laura with an intense gaze like Bryan. This is certainly a strong reason why Laura is very nervous and misbehaved.

‘Is he always staring at people with this kind of gaze?’ ask Laura in your heart. The girl didn't want to be too confident to think that Bryan was just staring at her like that. They had just met today so it was impossible that Bryan was interested in Laura. At least that's what Laura had in mind right now.

Thirty minutes later, Laura was finally done with her work. The girl returned to cleaning her equipment and put it in the cardboard and then turned her body.

Just as Laura turned her body, again their gazes met. Bryan who was caught off guard was watching Laura awkwardly avert his gaze. The man tried to act calm while staring at Laura's work.

“What about my work, sir? Do you like it?” ask Laura to Bryan.

Bryan looked at Laura's work. As Bryan had instructed, Laura actually made Bryan's room seem twice as romantic as usual. Bryan's bed was left empty with white sheets so that the color of the flowers looked striking. The flowers chosen by Laura are also very romantic flowers such as red, white, and pink roses. Not to forget Laura also added twinkling lights at the top of the bed and mosquito nets to provide a more intimate and private atmosphere.

Seeing how the atmosphere in his room made Bryan even more eager and wanted to attack Laura right now.

“Yes, good results. Much better than what was in my shadow earlier when you came,” replied Bryan honestly.

Laura smiled widely then nodded. “Thank you, Mr.” So said. When the girl looked back at Bryan she opened her voice, “Am I allowed to go home now, Mister?”

“You must be tired after doing your job, we sit first,” said Bryan then invite Laura to sit on the sofa in his room.

That certainly makes Laura surprised not play. Laura who impatiently wanted to go home soon inevitably had to comply with Bryan's request. Before Laura left for Bryan's house, Lola told Laura not to offend Bryan because Bryan was one of the regulars at Secret Garden. Plus, Bryan's influence in the business world is huge. Lola was afraid that if any of her employees offended Bryan, it could affect the reputation of her flower shop.

Laura nodded obediently then sat down on one of the sofas while Bryan went to one side of the bed where a glass cabinet containing several bottles of drinks was located.

“Do you want to drink something? I have wine, champagne, rose and whatnot if you want a drink,” bargained Bryan while staring expectantly at Laura.

“No need, Sir. I'm not used to drinking alcohol. Especially in business hours,” replied Laura politely. “But, thank you for the offer.”

“Are you sure?” bryan asked, tilting his head.

Laura nodded quickly. “I'm sure, Sir. Besides it's not polite if I drink at the customer's house of the flower shop where I work,” Laura replied.

After rejecting Bryan's treat to drink together, Laura felt bad if she had to refuse again so this time she received a bottle of minerals from Bryan. Laura was clueless about rich people giving drinks like champagne or wine to their guests because they were so expensive. But, seeing how luxurious Bryan's life was, Laura thought that maybe money was not something Bryan needed to mess around with.

“Thank you, Mister,” said Laura then straightened up the drink.

Bryan kept staring at Laura and watching how the girl was drinking. After Laura finished drinking, Bryan then sat on the sofa facing Laura without turning his gaze a bit from Laura.

“Have you worked at Secret Garden for a long time? I had subscribed for a long time to order flowers and asked Secret Garden to decorate my room but I never saw you,” Bryan said.

Although never met directly with the employee who is usually in charge of decorating his room, Bryan knows who did it and how the person's face. After all, other than ordering flowers by phone, Bryan had also made time to stop by the Secret Garden several times and he had never seen Laura before.

“I just started working at Secret Garden two days ago, Sir,” Laura replied as she lowered her head. Bryan's overly intense gaze made Laura powerless to stare at the man. So, he would rather just bow his head.

“Oh, really? It is fitting that I never see you,” Bryan replied, trying to be friendly to Laura.

The man smiled as he realized that Laura felt intimidated by his gaze. For Bryan, the girl nearby should feel that way because it will further arouse Bryan to do fun things on his burning bed.

‘Okay, if he keeps looking at me like this it looks like I could die a tick here,’ Laura grumbled inwardly as she glanced towards Bryan who still hasn't shifted her gaze away from him. ‘Can't she turn her gaze away for a moment?’

“If you may know, what is the reason you work at Secret Garden? Look around you seem like a girl with a good educational background. Besides, you are also beautiful and have a beautiful body. You can definitely get a much better job than being a florist,” asked Bryan.

“The story is long, sir. I'm sorry, but I can't tell my personal life to the customer of the florist,” Laura replied.

“I have time to listen to your long story,” said Bryan did not want to lose.

Laura raised her head then smiled faintly. “But, it seems like I don't have much time, sir. I need to get back to the flower shop. So, where's the bonus you promised earlier, Mister?” reply Laura.

Bryan took his wallet and then took some money and gave it to Laura. After getting the bonus, Laura then say goodbye and get out of the luxurious house.

Laura was now able to breathe a sigh of relief after coming out of Bryan's room.

But without Laura noticing, Bryan was still watching her through the windowpanes and the man muttered to himself if he was going to get Laura.
