Chapters 16. Telling Story

Until the evening comes. Zafa did not reveal his nose. I don't know where it went that Star clearly felt very lost.

Star sat in the living room while watching the big television. He watched the Discovery Channel alone.

From the middle room came the sound of footsteps. Star thinks Zafa has come home. He got up from his seat and rushed out to greet the man.

"Hi, thank goodness you're home." Star in its place. Zafa turns out to come not alone, but with a middle-aged woman who is still very beautiful.

"Who is he, Zaf?" ask Dian in Indonesian

"In_he's my lover." Zafa was a little nervous as he said that. I hope Star doesn't understand what she's talking about with her mom. Zafa finally said something that he would definitely regret later.

"He won't leave me because he's crazy about me,"

"Oh, sorry darling," said Dian, kissing both of Star's cheeks.

"Thankyou aunty."

Dian turned again towards Zafa. "You should tie him up immediately. She's a very attractive girl. Don't hang on a girl's feelings too long. They need certainty, Zaf."

"Hmm, I'm gonna take a shower. Mama just go to the room to rest."

"Mama's sleeping on the plane. Mama will accompany this beautiful girl."

"Name it Starlight, Mah."

Star remained silent, as Zafa and his mother returned to her native language.

Dian held Star's hand. Zafa went into the room. I don't know what his mom's gonna talk to Star about, but hopefully it's not weird.

"Why can your shoulder hurt, honey?" tanya Dian now speaks fluent English.

"I like to fight" Star replied honestly.

"Oh my God, you look a lot like my daughters Zafrina and Zayana."

"Which one?" ask Star while looking up at the photo behind her.

"The one to the right of Zafa's father, and the one to the left of the man in the white coat. The one above Zafrina and the one below Zayana."

"They're so pretty."

"You're beautiful too, dear Aunty, and I hope you'll also be part of our family. Because you're my son's lover."

"Love?" Star asked back what Zafa's mother had said.

"Yes, aren't you guys dating?" asked Dian with furrowed brows.
