Chapter 59. Star Condition

The news of Star's shooting at the hospital, not only reached Zafa, but Lionel and Cecilia also finally heard the bad news.

"WHAT? Grandchild shot? How could? How was the pregnancy?" asked Cecilia who had immediately received news from Arian, a trusted person of Zafa.

"Miss is still in the operating room to remove the bullet lodged in her shoulder. Mr. Zafa just asked me to tell you and Mr. Lionel this."

"All right, I'll be right there. Lionel and I will fly to Toronto today."

"Alright, Mistress. I will tell this to Mr. Zafa."

After that Arion again contacted his superiors. Zafa was at the airport to return to Toronto.

When contacted by his mother earlier, Zafa was meeting with several boards of directors because his company was in trouble. He did not immediately stop the meeting even though the news made him angry and anxious. Zafa immediately asks Arion to return to Toronto to help his mother and inform her of Star's condition.

Zafa isn't putting Star above everything else, but right now Zafa's company is in serious trouble. There were hundreds of employees in the company that he needed to think about his fate. Although a dilemma, but as much as possible Zafa must take appropriate action. He was sure Star would understand later and he was already on his way back to Toronto.

Along the way she kept praying that Star and her three babies would survive. Zafa was a little able to breathe a sigh of relief when his father told him that Star's condition was stable enough even though he had to add 2 bags of blood.

Zafa arrived at the hospital in the afternoon. He went straight to the Star treatment room. Star just regained consciousness. He was shocked to find himself surrounded by Zafa's brother and Zafa's parents.

"How are you doing, honey?" Mama Dian rubbed Star's hand. Star smiled faintly.

"I'm Ok, Mom. Don't worry."

"I'm sorry mommy, mommy was supposed to protect you."

"It's just a normal wound, Mom. So don't feel guilty like that."

"Areally who's that annoying old man?" ask Zafrina. He doesn't know the whole Star story yet.

"He was the man who almost married me. She's my step-grandmother's friend. I've been shoveled and almost married to him, but I'm lucky I got away and my husband helped me."

"Oh God's. Your grandmother sucks," Zafrina grumbled.

"Oh, thank goodness you've come" said Dian's mother. Zafa smiled and rubbed his mother's back. Silence then approached Star and kissed her forehead.

"How are you, Baby."

"It's been a lot better since I saw you" Star replied.

"Well, we better get home, there's a big brother here. Don't let my mom get sick" Zafrina said. Dian nodded. He said goodbye to Star and Zafa. Dian kissed Star's forehead for a moment.

Everyone left Star's treatment room and left only the couple.

"What are you gonna do to that old jackass, Honey."

"That's gonna be my business. He's already dared to hurt you and I'll make the calculations with him later."

"Sorry if I interfere with your business" Star said.

"What did you say? You're everything to me, baby. I should have accompanied you."

"How's your business there? Is it done."

"No, but Zicco and Arion replaced me there. There are 2 directors who misappropriated the tender funds for the construction of the apartment to make the client file a lawsuit."

"Then how?"

"You don't have to think about that, Baby. Just think about your condition and the triplet."

"Say the Violin doctors they're fine. I'm fine too. The doctor gave me the best medicine" Star said. Although her face was still pale, Star still looked beautiful.
