Chapter 6. Dinner Invitation

Star decides to return to her own apartment unit. She wrote a memo to Zafa that contained thanks and a call to dinner in her apartment. Star even listed her apartment pin code in the memo.

Crazy one! Yes, he was indeed crazy about the handsome lecturer. Moreover, the incident that just happened was the most bitter thing that Star had ever felt. Then by chance Zafa who was there saved Star.

That made Star even more eager to have Zafa in her life. Zafa is the only man he wants.

Zafa went into his apartment. He looked around and didn't find Star there.

Zafa stared at Star's neat handwriting, but unfortunately Zafa had no intention of coming. He doesn't want to have any relationship with a woman even if it's just a friendship.

The real Zafa, who has a sincere and loving heart, chooses not to engage with women anymore. Feeling disappointed 2 times by his loved ones makes Zafa still reluctant to open himself until now.

Star has already cooked some menus. Either Zafa will like it or not, but he prepared everything perfectly.

Star wears a dress that she thinks is quite feminine even though she doesn't like to be styled like that. Star looked at her watch, it had been 7 more than 15 minutes, but the man she was waiting for did not come.

Star waited, though her heart was a little disappointed. But he still hoped Zafa would come even though it was too late.

Star's stomach rang. He even skipped lunch to prepare dinner this time. Star stared at the dishes she prepared at the dining table. The candle that was towering now only half.

Star smiled wryly. It seemed like he had too much hope for his handsome lecturer, but he would not give up. Star stuffed her homemade cooking into the container.

"Come, Star. You can definitely conquer that polar bear."

Star smiled and then walked out of the room. Time has shown at 8. Star knocked on Zafa's apartment door.

Long enough Star stood in front of the door and knocked. His knuckles even flushed red from knocking on that door too often.

Meanwhile, Zafa who had just taken a bath was troubled by the sound of knocking on the door. He's clucking pissed. Zafa knew exactly who was at the door of his apartment.

Zafa lazily opened the door. "What's wrong?" ketus Zafa's.

"You didn't read the message I wrote?"

"I read it, but I'm busy" said Zafa. Star smiled and thrust out the paperbag she had in her grasp.

"I'm not used to wasting food. Here eat. I cooked it myself. I hope you like it."

Zafa took the paperbag. Star again smiled because Zafa wanted to receive his homemade food.

"Good fun. Sorry to interrupt." Star immediately turned towards her apartment unit. Zafa was still glued in front of the door. He could see the look of sadness in Star's eyes even though his lips were carving a smile.

But Zafa is still unwilling to give Star false hope. For at any time Zafa will not open the door of his heart to any woman.
